Alton Miller – Nu Forms EP EP review
Alton Miller – Nu Forms EP shows us new forms of electronic music that the ear has never heard before. This is electronic music with a deep house touch. A huge chunk of tribal house can be heard throughout the EP. Alton Miller never fails to disappoint.
Atlantis Rising is backed by claves and drums behind some dark major electronic synths from a whirly analog keyboard. What Alton Miller did was mix a whirly sound into those analog keyboard keys and chords making a genius combination of the two. That is truly futurist and way ahead of the times. Alton Miller never fails to disappoint.
Beautiful Brown People uses some lo-fi processed electronic beats that have a bit of static. However the sound is still smooth and Alton Miller never fails to disappoint. He uses an analog keyboard and bongos.
Nu Forms shows us new forms of electronic music that the ear has never heard before. Think electronic music with a deep house touch and tribal house. A huge chunk of tribal house can be heard throughout the song. With percussion such as bongos, claves, and djembes.

Alton Miller – In Flight single review
Alton Miller brought that futuristic funk on his 2008 single Alton Miller – In Flight. He incorporated the styles of funk, electronic, and deep house on this single. And of course that futuristic funk that Alton Miller is known for using in his songs. Each song on this Alton Miller is a guaranteed house groover.
Be Black Baby is filled with super thick enriched beats and percussion. And of course that futuristic funk that Alton Miller is known for using in his songs. This song will take you on another level of spirituality and sensuality. The thumping bass and buying bass make Be Black Baby a house groover. The grooves are quite ethereal, sensual, and classy.
Don't Look Back uses some classy warped keyboard chords. Now those warped keyboard chords transcend into a hypnotic groove that certainly will baffle your mind. futuristic funk that Alton Miller is known for using

2 Low - Funky Lil Brotha album review
2 Low’s album Funky Lil Brotha was a goofy kiddie rap album from the 90s. The lyrics don't fall short either. 2 Low gave the listeners a perspective of a dysfunctional child growing up in the streets of Houston, Texas. People always talk about how crazy and how bad kids are today but they don’t always understand what some of us have to deal with. 2-Low was Rap-A-Lot’s answer to Shyheim The Rugged Child and Kris Kross. He was Rap A Lot's kid rapper.
The album had the Rap-A-Lot sound of the time from the iconic production team of N.O. Joe, John Bido, Tony “Big Chief” Randle, James Smith, and Scarface. His album has Houston written all over it thanks to the presence of Scarface and John Bido. You can hear the work of N.O. Joe and John Bido all over 2 Low’s Problem Child album. That G-Funk sound. The sounds of funk, rap, hip hop, and children’s music can be heard on this album. Every track on here is bass heavy with lots of funk samples.
Funky Lil Brotha is a funky funk rap song where 2 Low and Scarface test their lyrical abilities and skills. 2 Low explains to us why he is one funky lil brotha. Funk meets rap on Funky Lil Brotha. John Bido’s sound can be heard all over the song.
2 Low is that funky lil brotha coming back with a brand new cut and you can new jack swing on his. Because he got this here so tight. 2 Low is (was) a young playa doin damage to the mic. You sho' right. He’s 13 but he ain't dumb. So bring it on if you little bustas want some. Cover your dome because it's on once again. He’s a young playa that's known to win. He got his street sense from these hardcore streets, trick.
2 Low is comin real because he ain't bumpin no weak hits. Pass him the mic and let me kick it for the old folks. All the O.G.'s back in the hood that once sold dope. Runnin the game. He’s got a bank account so he can stack some g's and have nice things like Cutlass on d's with a coat of fresh candy paint. He’s got a bank account so he can be set for life when he’s grown. And hit them switches before he’s old enough to drive.
His teachers can't stand me 'cause he give them no respect. He ain't sayin "M'am, yes M'am" until you're signing him a check. So you can miss 2 Low with the bump rap. You ain't his mother and he ain't your son. So in reality, you gets none. 2 Low is gettin busy on this track for ya. Because 2 Low is the funky lil brotha.
Here we go once again with the real hits! Throw your hands in the air if you can feel this! 2 Low bring styles after styles after styles too. He can't be faded with this here because he’s a young troop. He sports them Nikes. Not the Reeboks or K-Swiss. And while we’re on the subject of feet, let me say this. 2 Low beats down like Bruise Lot.
Let me and him squash this here. 2 Low is rippin up shop in '94 like a chainsaw. 2 Low is Hiram-Clarke where these g’s don't fist-fight. They got they 9mm pistols shooting. Just enough to get your punk butt lit up. He can square this off right by makin people say, "Oh man, little bro raw!" It's not about the set he claims because he don't bang. 2 Low is just a g from the hood who let them hang. 2 Low is the funky lil brotha.
Scarface is rippin shop with his funky lil brotha. Scarface and 2 Low are the real deal. Scarface and 2 Low were puttin bustas on their back like Evander Holyfield. Flowin up the beat is what Scarface is known for. And the funky lil brotha is who this song is for. 2 Low is the funky lil brotha.
Once upon a time there lived Lucky. But Lucky got bucked because Lucky tried to buck Scarface. Hey yo, Scarface gave that boy some scratch. He came up short. That's when he got sidetracked. Scarface had to cut him up like a tractor.
2 Low explains some of the shenanigans he takes part in Class Clown such as grabbing the teachers ass smoking weed underneath the bleachers in the gymnasium. 2 Low proved to us he had skills with his lyrical abilities on Class Clown. His lyrics was raw at only 13 back then. This is his raw talent. This song is sick.
John Bido and Tony "Big Chief" Randle provide a funky backdrop to get down on. You can hear the bass and guitars all over the place.
N.O. Joe, John Bido, and Tony "Big Chief" Randle provide a funky backdrop to get down on with The Groove With Mr. Scarface Pt 2. This is a funk rap fusion. So chill with that Southern funk.
I say one for the boogie, two for the show. Take a look and what do you know, it's 2 Low. Or should I say the funky lil bro? 2 Low is back with the flow. Another style from the kid to let you bustas know. He be jammin like an old school vet. He be workin up a sweat, havin fun as he earns his check. So check it out as he come to groove with ya. Cause Deep in the jungle where the hunters rumble. So chill with the Low and let him get to ya. Cause Him and Mr. Face came to groove ya.
If the music makes you move and you feel you wanna groove, groove on. If you're feeling good inside and you wanna take a ride, ride on.
You see 2 Low make it funky. Somethin you can smoke to and chill back with your homies. 2 Low shows us that he can handle the mic. No need to pass it on because he go all night. So don't let nobody try to fool ya. You know that he be flowin. If the music makes you move and you feel you wanna groove, groove on. If you're feeling good inside and you wanna take a ride, ride on. Hit the swisher and chill, g.

Mean Green - Baller Status album review
The Mean Green - Baller Status album is a compilation album which is one of the lesser known albums from No Limit Records. Baller Status had a mixture of that Bay Area sound and Southern rap sound also. Passion brought the Bay Area sound while Master P and Two For One brought that Southern rap sound.
The Mean Green - Baller Status album was supposed to be a compilation album that was going to be released on No Limit Records in 2000 but never was because of No Limit’s rebranding and Mean Green’s contractual obligations to 97.9 KBXX. Also Mean Green wanted to focus on his career as a DJ and announcer as he was in demand with his fanbase at 97.9 KBXX and across the world including Houston, Texas. The album was supposed to be released with joint distribution from Priority Records and Universal Records. But sadly this was never released due to contractual obligations, copyright reasons, and rebranding of No Limit.
Also No Limit's former parent label Priority Records had going through a tough transition during that time. They were being bought out by Capitol Records and EMI between 2000 and 2002. That is also why that album never materialized.
The album was initially titled to be called Mean Green Presents: Sequel To Major Players. However the album title was changed to Baller Status by Mean Green himself as he had some creative control over the album. Him and Master P were the executive producers.
Mean Green had announced that there would be a sequel to Mean Green Presents: Major Players Compilation back in 1999. However he did not announced the title yet for the album due to copyright reasons. The Mean Green - Baller Status compilation album was supposed to be a sequel to the Major Players compilation album as Mean Green - Baller Status was going to be the follow-up album to Mean Green Presents: Major Players. Yet the album was packaged like a soundtrack.
The Baller Status album was first advertised in the 504 Boyz - Goodfellas album under the COMING SOON section with an abundance of other albums which were never released and never saw the light of day. The Mean Green - Baller Status album was advertised in several albums released by No Limit Records such as the C-Murder - Trapped In Crime album, Mo B. Dick – Gangsta Harmony, the 504 Boyz - Goodfellas album, and the Master P - Ghetto Postage album way back in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The album cover for Mean Green - Baller Status was designed by the legendary graphic design firm Pen N Pixel no doubt. They were responsible for designing the wonderful album cover.
Passion - Don't Be Mad (Way 2 Real Mix) was a song recorded for the Baller Status compilation album. However this version of Don't Be Mad did not make the final cut due to timing. This amazing song was actually a leftover from on Mean Green's first album called Major Players. Writers for were Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, L.A. Reid, and Daryl Simmons.
Don't be mad because yo nigga wanna ride with Passion. She will pimp in her caddy inside of him. She never want him mackin to the third degree. P-I-impim nation wide. Betta have her money or it's on tonight.
Passion is that bitch you and your nigga dream about. Passion got the title to the car with the keys to your house. Because she will never let him. Revenue is rollin in by the minute. Playboy's fighting to be all up in it. Spinning and wishing that Passion could be the hoe but she is all about pimping with that game she spills. Passion is a bad ass bitch from the hood to the real. I thought you knew.
Now them hoes wanna hate and that's fine with Passion. Bitches wanna be her and niggas can't hang with her. Passion is the big dog that's running things. Pimping ain't easy and the game ain't free.
Back Up Off Me is one of the more annoying songs off the album. The constant “What?” chant during the chorus and bridge is what make the song annoying.
What's up y'all? It's the mean-ster green-ster. This should be played in residential neighborhoods clubs, and cars at high volume. Get 'em up, wodies, at high volume. Everybody in the clique be rowdy. And won't stop until they start a fight in this bitch. Boot up, shut up, or get rowdy. If you ain't bout gettin' rowdy then back the fuck up. Who say they harder? They a motherfuckin' liar. Master P touch the stage and the crowd goes crazy. You motherfuckers can't fade him. He came to tear the roof off this motherfucker.
Big Snoop D-O-double-G in this bitch. Gotcha runnin' because he’s comin' with that South shit. Tearing this motherfuckin' club up. No Limit and Dogghouse keep it crack-a-lackin. The heat goes where the homie goes.
Two For One tore up Nobody Make A Sound with Mac, Magic, and Fiend. We got 2-4-1 up in this bitch. You know what I'm sayin'? These No Limit Soldiers committed a robbery during the song.
And if any of you motherfuckers move, y’all gon get your fuckin' heads blown off. Ya heard me? Alright. Nobody move and nobody dies. Don’t think about breathing as they bring forth a line of fire to your ass. Everybody's gonna die tonight. Magic patted the victims down. 2-4-1 duct taped the victims. And if anybody moved Fiend disintegrated them.
Magic says, “Alright, I'ma pat everybody down. So keep your heads to the floor. Whoever in charge of this bitch better point me to the door! I'm lookin' for the loot, so me and my people can leave. But any noncooperation and one of you bitches gon bleed. Now I want the rest of y'all to watch them motherfuckers bleed. Throw down your rollex, your Gucci's, your Versace, your new Jordan’s and your cellphones. And anything else that cost over a hundred dollars.”
They call him Magic because he is known for making his victims disappear. He is about that kind/type of drama. He’ll tell you, “I'm 'bout that drama.” Magic tells everyone, “Now everybody lay it down, nobody make a sound! I got fifty fuckin' rounds!”
Lights are beaming and people are screaming. 2-4-1 is dumpin' in the clip with the triggers. 2-4-1 is gonna do your ass like Jason or either like Freddy. So you better get ready. The time has come.
The time has come. Niggas better know this ain't no motherfuckin' game. Mac got the M-1 which he borrowed from Big Ed. Don't got much time to tell about the murder tale to each one of y'all. You got what Mac wants. Either you give it up or he’ll split ya.
The song Lexxtacy is a sexy sensual guitar driven R&B/soul song with that commercial pop sound. A-Lexxus takes you (and us) on a trip to Lexxtacy (ecstasy) with this song of hers undoubtedly. Young Gator is the rapper who is featured on the song.
A-Lexxus will be the one to teach you how to love. She will show you how it’s done. So sit back and enjoy the ride. A-Lexxus will take you to another level of Lexxtacy (ecstasy). She will take your body to ecstasy. She can and will be your fantasy. Her dedication to you is strong and will keep you satisfied. She’ll give you pleasure and romance. Levels you’ve never seen before.
Boy Bye is the rough brash breakup song. A-Lexxus is tired of dealing with these lames (men who are chumps that big let-downs in disguise). The song uses an urban edge of hard hitting 00s style rap beats over a Southern rap sound. Southern rap meets soul on Boy Bye.
This man is trying to get with A-Lexxus. The way he is approaching A-Lexxus is all wrong. The way he approached her was not right at all. All the flashy material things such as shiny jewelry don’t impress A-Lexxus at all. However he is unaware of this. She needs a strong thug on the premises. She wants a real relationship built on love, trust, and compassion. A-Lexxus is tired of dealing with these lames. However the men who are trying get at her are unaware of this.

Avril Lavigne - My World EP review
Avril Lavigne is the “pop punk princess” from Napanee, Ontario, Canada that bursted onto the music scene with her successful EP My World in 2003. The EP helped launched herself up into stardom in the United States and worldwide being that the album was an instant success as the EP went platinum 2x selling over 2,000,000 units. The EP changed the scene of pop rock music because it helped bring the pop punk music sub-genre into the mainstream. Avril also does an awesome job covering the songs Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door and Basketcase.
Sk8er Boi is a pop punk love song that was a classic. The whole song has a punk rock vibe with such angst. The whole song was pretty much a pop song at best. Pop meets rock thus creating a combination and fusion of pop rock.
Sk8er Boi is what also launched Avril into stardom among the song Complicated in 2002. In fact, Sk8er Boi almost outmatched Complicated in terms of sales figures. However both singles reached platinum status going more than 2x platinum worldwide.
Why was the first professional composition that Avril Lavigne wrote and the first song written for Let Go, although in the end it was not included in the album originally. The song is played using a simple acoustic guitar and Avril's voice. Why is about when you realize how much you miss that person.
The song Why written by Avril Lavigne and produced by Peter Zizzo. It was the bonus track included on the Japanese edition of Let Go and the B-side of the Australian edition for the CD single of Complicated. It was also included in the bonus CD on the My World documentary DVD. This was one of the three songs that Avril sang for L.A. Reid before he hired her for Arista Records.

Avril Lavigne - My Happy Ending single review
Avril Lavigne’s My Happy Ending single was the second most heartbreaking single in rock history for 2004. One song is about a turbulent relationship which went misconstrued and ends up not working out for both people and the other song is about the invasive paparazzi.
My Happy Ending is a song is about a turbulent relationship which went misconstrued. The relationship doesn’t work out for both people. She shows disappointment towards the relationship as both people have to deal with saying goodbye to all of the memories they had shared together in the relationship. Both people have to goodbye to the relationship they once had.
He was everything that Avril wanted. They were meant to be and supposed to be together but somehow they lost it all. And all of their memories so close to Avril now just fade away. So much for her happy ending. Avril realizes she is living a lie and now reality has overcome her. Now Avril wishes to escape from a broken relationship. The relationship isn't far from behind her.
She tells him, “It's nice to know that you were there. Thanks for acting like you cared and making me feel like I was the only one. It's nice to know we had it all. Thanks for watching as I fall and letting me know we were done.”
Take It illustrates Avril’s frustrations with invasive paparazzi intruding their way into every facet of her life. Take It was a song recorded by Avril Lavigne which was included as a B-side to the My Happy Ending single in 2004.
Avril is just trying to find some alone time and away from the spotlight so she can recuperate, get some rest, and live her life. There is no room to compromise. Clearly she can’t take it. The paparazzi flashes Avril Lavigne impolitely everywhere she goes out in public. That’s the way it’s done with the paparazzi.
The paparazzi sends a picture of Avril to a magazine without her consent or knowledge. Lyrics to chorus explain how invasion of privacy is not true photography.
[Chorus]
Just take it, take it
Can’t take it, take it
So send your picture to a magazine
Invasion's not true photography
Is that what you always wanted to be?
Well I’d be worried for you
Invasion is not true photography. Invasion of privacy is not true photography. Avril is rightfully worried about her privacy. She wonders if she’ll get by in this life this time. She has to get away from this. Sometimes you gotta try to run and hide from the paparazzi.
Take your best shot to impress her. Write a fictional story for your fee. Try to get the world to believe your shocking headline surprise. Lyrics to Verse 2 expose the sensationalism any paparazzi creates.

Avril Lavigne - Under My Skin album review
Avril Lavigne’s sophomore album Under My Skin had a more darker sound identical to grunge rock than compared to her debut album Let Go. The album has such a dark mood. It was clear that Avril was more hands-on with this album. She had more of an input on decision making.
This album deals with issues the younger audiences can relate to such as depression, loneliness, heartbreaking relationships, fakeness, and love amongst others. Subjects and issues her adult contemporaries speak on. Nevertheless the album was a success amongst Avril Lavigne fans and the music market by going at least 4x platinum across the globe.
Take Me Away was derived from 2001 B-Sides album. Except this version of Take Me Away is a much more dark vivid version than the version on B-Sides as it is a metal track. That version was a much happier version than the version released on Under My Skin. Take Me Away was originally meant to be on Let Go but didn't make the final track listing for whatever reason.
The song has a basic sequence of F#m-C#m-D–E as its chord progression. Her vocal range spans from B3 to D#5. Although her vocals range stays mostly in the B3 at moderate tempo of 99 BPM.
Take Me Away deals with Avril wanting someone to take her away from confusion going on inside her head. Avril cannot handle all the confusion going back and forth in her head. She cannot find a way to describe it. It's there inside. All she does is hide. She just wishes that it would just go all away. What would you do if you knew? What would you do?
Avril cannot handle the confusion at all as evidenced in the chorus.
[Chorus]
All the pain I thought I knew
All the thoughts lead back to you
Back to what was never said
Back and forth inside my head
I can't handle this confusion
I'm unable; come and take me away
Avril feels all alone by herself and has to get around this. Her words are cold. No one understands her. She’s going and getting nowhere. What would you do?
Nobody’s Home talks about a girl who has a lots of problems unresolved in her mind and how she is not getting anywhere. She obviously is on the wrong path. She wants to go home, but nobody's home. She’s broken inside with no place to go.
Nobody’s Home has a catchy hook in a conversational tone. The song spoke to all the social outcasts in the world especially young girls and women trying to find their place in the world. The song showed that Avril was a force to be reckoned with as she understood the harsh realities of her fanbase. She was wise beyond her years with this dark song of hers.
These lyrics to Nobody’s Home hit hard and hit home. Especially lyrics to the bridge and chorus.
[Verse 1]
Well, I couldn't tell you
Why she felt that way
She felt it every day
And I couldn't help her
I just watched her make
The same mistakes again
[Verse 2]
Open your eyes (Open your eyes)
And look outside
Find the reasons why
You've been rejected (You've been rejected)
And now you can't find
What you've left behind
[Pre-Chorus]
Be strong, be strong now (Be)
Too many, too many problems (Strong)
Don't know where she belongs (No)
Where she belongs
[Chorus]
She wants to go home, but nobody's home
That's where she lies, broken inside
With no place to go, no place to go
To dry her eyes, broken inside
[Bridge]
Her feeling she hides, her dreams she can't find
She's losin' her mind, she's fallen behind
She can't find her place, she's losin' her faith
She's fallen from grace, she's all over the place
Yeah
The song He Wasn’t is where Avril dumps a cheesy guy she dated after finding out he wasn’t exactly what she wanted personally. She did not expect this. So she bashes him throughout the entirety of this song. He Wasn’t showcases the punk rocker side of Avril Lavigne.
As cited in the chorus, Apparently a guy not getting the door for her really gets on her last nerves.
[Chorus]
He wasn't what I wanted, what I thought, no
He wouldn't even open up the door
He never made me feel like I was special
He isn't really what I'm looking for
(Hey, hey, hey)
(Hey, hey, hey)

She tells him, “It's nice to know that you were there. Thanks for acting like you cared and making me feel like I was the only one. It's nice to know we had it all. Thanks for watching as I fall and letting me know we were done.”
Don’t Tell Me about being strong. There’s lot of guys out there who just want to take girls out to dinner just to have sex with them and all that shit. Guys can pressure them into doing anything. There’s a lot of pressure for girls these days. Avril is not like that girl who gives it all away.
Don’t Tell Me is also is about a relationship that doesn’t work out. A relationship is easily breakable. The song also deals with both people having to say goodbye to all of their precious memories held together that both people in the relationship once had. Even the biggest lovers can turn into strangers in a matter of days. That’s how love works sometimes.
Avril shows that she is fearless and will step up to any man in order to call them out for their behavior with her lyrics in Verse 2.
[Verse 2]
Don't think that your charm
And the fact that your arm is now around my neck
Will get you in my pants
I'll have to kick your ass to make you never forget
I'm gonna ask you to stop
I thought I liked you a lot, but I'm really upset (Really upset)
So get outta my head, get off of my bed
Yeah, that's what I said
Avril realizes she is living a lie and now reality has overcome her on the song Together. Avril wishes to escape from a broken relationship, but refuses to. She feels she needs to be together with someone. It doesn't feel right at all for her to be alone. The truth isn't far behind her.
5/5*****!!
Avril adds fuel to the fire with his punk pop fusion and combinations on the song Fuel. Give her fuel as that is what she desires. Fuel is pumpin' engines. Burnin' hard. Loose and clean. And she burns churning her direction. She is another junkie who lives too fast.
