Adamsville School closed in 1921 during the 1920-1921 school year due to declining enrollment after the Delta Land and Water Company came into Adamsville to buy farm land for a reservoir. After Adamsville School, the students were transported by bus to attend classes in Beaver, Utah.

*In the children’s book series called The Great Brain written by John D. Fitzgerald, Adenville School was modeled after Adamsville School. Everything about Adenville School loosely based on Fitzgerald's childhood experiences while attending school. Adenville School is a reference to Adamsville School. However Adenville School was a 1-6 school where after 6th grade school had stopped unlike Adamsville School where school stopped after 8th grade.
