An early 20th century building which is a four-story Sullivanesque style building located in downtown Beaumont, Texas called the Gilbert Building remains abandoned after Hurricane Ike. Although Hurricane Ike has since passed, there have been no plans to renovate the Gilbert Building. For the most part the Gilbert Building remains unaltered.
