Syd Arthur - Sound Mirror is a psychedelic rock album with a unique sound similar to alternative rock which the band seems to be indulgent in. Fans of classic psychedelia will enjoy the sounds coming from this album. This album takes you on a meandering journey thru rock music. The front cover is a picture of an ornate circle in monochrome carved into a concrete slab.
 
Hometown Blues is a piano driven psychedelic rock song with instrumentation from Syd Arthur. Many people will consider this song enchanting as their sound and style is so enchanting. Singularity is an instrumental played in free-form. The band seems to have been freewheeling on this song. Now this instrumental is laced with that psychedelic rock sound. Singularity serves as sort of a highlight for this album.
