Beat Division – The Feeling is a fairly unique garage house EP that got criminally overlooked during the rise of house music in the 1990s. This EP is known for heavily used samples taken from other songs from different genres of music. The songs are catchy and very addictive. The sticker advertises these songs as “fat tracks”.
The Feeling uses catchy synths mixed with beats that are considered to be very addictive. Catchy and addictive are two words that can be used to describe this song.
The heavy bass and vocal samples is what stands out about Who’s On Next?. Nice is one word to describe the song. The vocal samples came from The Underground Solution featuring Jasmine Luv Dancin (Remix) and Susan Clark - Deeper. Who’s On Next? samples Lil Louis - New Dance Beat, Susan Clark - Deeper, and The Underground Solution featuring Jasmine Luv - Dancin (Remix).
Who's Beats Are These? uses a hodgepodge of beats from different songs and different genres which is why you can hear samples. For example, Who’s Beats Are These? samples beats from Cajmere - Brighter Days (Underground Goodie Mix). The vocal sample came from Susan Clark - Deeper.
I rate this EP 5/5*****!!
