History of Diamond J Motel in Detroit, Michigan explored and explained in shortened detail.

Diamond J Motel is one the many forgotten motels of Detroit, Michigan. Not much history has been documented on this hotel. Unfortunately not much information about this hotel can be found online or offline either.

Diamond J Motel was established in the Oakwood Heights subdivision in 1920 as a motel and hotel on a lot size of 0.1700 acres. 604 Oakwood Boulevard, Detroit, Michigan was the address for this motel. Both Helen's Cafe and McGann's Bar were once located next to the Diamond J Motel. There were also several houses which had once surrounded the property of Diamond J Motel since Oakwood Heights was a subdivision and neighborhood.
