History behind Birt's in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada explained.

The Birt's in Charlottetown, located on Prince Edward Island, Canada operated from 1972 to 1975.  Birt's was renamed to Red & White in 1978. Red & White operated at this location from 1978 to 1985. A Red White Grocery chain opened at this location in 1986. Red White Grocery was originally called Red & White prior to 1986. Birt’s was already shut down at this point. (Ref: https://www.newspapers.com/newspage/422542956/)

A small Quick-Pik store (Quick-N-Pik) opened up at this location after Red White Grocery moved to another location. This particular Quick-Pik store was called Park Terrace Quik Pik.
