The Eden Home for the Aged Cemetery is one of San Antonio’s lesser known cemeteries which hardly anyone knows about. This article will expose what this cemetery once was and historical details. This cemetery is a former cemetery for the Eden Home for the Aged.
Eden Home for the Aged Cemetery was established and plotted by Eden Home for the Aged in the year 1921. This retirement home was located across from the cemetery, east of South Presa Street. Eden Home for the Aged Cemetery was in use from 1921 to 1953. This cemetery served Eden Home for the Aged before they relocated in 1953. Approximately 30 individuals were buried here. Many of the gravestones remain.
