However a water well was drilled on the property prior to becoming Spanish Oaks Trailer Park. This water well was manufactured by Meyers and was drilled in 1953. This water well had steel casing connected to a steel pipe. Diameter of this water well was 8 inches. Water was retrieved from the Edwards Aquifer at a depth of 580 feet to 612 feet by a submersible electric motor. The well usually went 600 feet deep into Edwards Aquifer.
