This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Damion The Demon Seed - Damion The Demon Seed.
The Damion The Demon Seed album was released on cassette only in the Saginaw, Michigan area in 1993. You couldn’t find this cassette anywhere else outside of Saginaw. Damion The Demon Seed had a couple of albums that were released on cassettes in the Saginaw Valley area at that time. His name was buzzing around the underground music scene alone Dirty Jerk, Mack Tha Jacka, Bone Skanless, Madame Dane, Dangerous D, and Daddy Madd. Damion The Demon Seed was inspired by Stephen King when writing some of his tracks for the Damion The Demon Seed album which is why the album has that mystery genre feel to it.
(Damion The Demon Seed is often referred to as Damion The Demon Seed or Damon The Demon Seed.)
(Damion The Demon Seed {Damion Brown} was a rapper, producer, and graphics design artist from Saginaw, Michigan. Damon describes himself as an evil person.)
The Intro starts of with a nearly two minute long sample from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre horror film. Damion commits his first murder at 12:00 AM straight with a chainsaw. A female’s voice can be heard screaming during the intense massacre. It just gets worse from there.
Damion The Demon Seed is the title track which is pretty self-explanatory. Damion The Demon Seed describes himself as an evil person here. He is struck by difficult decisions. The harmonious angelic chorus is warped and treble is terribly low. Sound quality is disheartened. The acid rap element seems to be prevalent with Damion The Demon Seed.
Damion speaks words of the wicked from the wickedest. He looks in the mirror but is unable to see who’s kicking it. The bodies be hanging, man. Eyeballs are dangling. Damion is having thoughts of strangulation. If Damion strangles you, he’ll tell your family first. So prepare for your death. Death is Damion’s specialty. Damion is ripping out people’s spines from Saginaw to Connecticut. Damion is so fucking wicked he scares his own shadow.
Damion pleads insanity on Damion The Demon Seed. He admits he’s guilty. The harmonious angelic chorus chants his name. Also his rap name is chanted in the chorus. Damion apparently needs the bible.
Apparently Damion is walking the paths of death. He’s loosing his breath. He stole so many souls there’s nothing but zombies left. As Tha Jack would. Apparently Damion is the devil. He speaks so much deep shit. I know. The organ is being played in the church chapel. Damion stabs his next victim. Damion took money from victim. Now police are looking for Damion. No witness will tell the story. Damion is hellhound. You and I know he’s out of his mind. He needs a new one. Now Damion will burn a couple of candles and mix the spell. His mind is deeper than the fiery pits of hell.
[A demon seed is the spawn of the devil. A demon seed is the spawn of all evil. The child of a demon is known as a demon. Latin term for 'demon seed' is 'seedus demonus'. Think of a child that's conceived through unwanted intercourse resulting in an unplanned pregnancy. An unwanted child rather to be exact.]
Lookin’ Thru The Eyes Of A Killa takes us behind the perspective of a serial killer that kills random people just for no particular reason. The serial killer is obviously mentally unstable with an unsound mind. The whole track seriously has a killer effect.
Damion The Demon Seed was inspired by Stephen King when he wrote the Lookin’ Thru The Eyes Of A Killa. He was inspired exactly by Stephen King’s IT book at the time of writing this particular track. Lookin’ Thru The Eyes Of A Killa has that mystery genre feel.
Damion The Demon Seed mixes the art of storytelling with gangsta rap, horrorcore, and acid rap on Lookin’ Thru bey having that foreboding horrorcore rap sound along with that gloomy gangsta rap sound. Lookin’ Thru The Eyes Of A Killa definitely has that gloomy dark sound. You can hear the deep dark monotonous chorus registering on the low notes. with the heavy bass in the background laced behind some G-Funk sounds as the track Lookin’ Thru The Eyes Of A Killa starts. The background music is heavily distorted and the dark mood is present. The electronically processed beats are fast paced.
You can hear the deep dark monotonous chorus with the heavy bass in the background laced behind some G-Funk sounds on the track Lookin’ Thru The Eyes Of A Killa. Damion has seem to have taken a likening influence of Esham’s acid rap sound as Lookin’ Thru The Eyes Of A Killa has that dark horrorcore sound similar Brotha Lynch Hung’s Ripgut Cannablism rap. Many references to murder, criminal mischief, and cannablism are made throughout the track.
You can hear the deep dark monotonous chorus with the heavy bass in the background laced tightly behind some G-Funk sounds as the track Lookin’ Thru The Eyes Of A Killa starts. Most of the sound quality is distorted however. The intro’s volume starts off very loudly.
Through the eyes of a killer all Damion sees is another dead person. He left his victim on the curb bleeding. He’ll leave the scene. An old lady with a purse full of loot is his next victim. She gave him the money but hey, he shot her anyway. There was a witness in sight. There was a witness who wanted to run but Damion obviously isn’t going to let this person get away. He thaws off the bones of the witness and preserves the meat of course. Damion will drink him a 40 oz. for every dead body he finds. In his mind, Damion brews a plan to cook more victims.
Who could do something like this? But it’s the same motherfucker who wrote about it. Damion warns all those who didn’t know about it. Damion The Demon Seed massacred your homies and wrote a story about the murders.
Damion went crazy last Friday. He tied a female down to the back of a truck rode down the highway. He forgot she was back there and fucked around and backed up. But now she looks like a golden brown pancake scratched up. Slanging decomposed bodies starves his mind. So he stopped at the store and got his wine. Stephen King has competition. He’ll deal with you through the eyes of a killer.
The disheartening distorted chorus begins chanting “Kill ‘em, Dame! Kill ‘em, Dame! Kill ‘em!”. The chorus has no remorse. It only gets worse.
Through the eyes of a killer Damion sees someone shot at close range leftover with no brains. But it’s no thing to Damion. Next on his agenda is a good looking hot female. He wants some flesh that’s good, juicy, and tender. Damion remembers from November or December. He through her legs on the grill. He ate her ribs.
Now onto the next chapter of Damion’s agenda! He’s busting out in laughter and doesn’t know what or who he’s after! Damion took a brick and cracked somebody’s dome. He put that person with the steaks and turned on the grill. He turned it on. He looked around the yard. There was a witness. Now Damion throws a brick through an old man’s window. The man was scared and died of a heart attack. But Damion got started, jack. Damion The Demon Seed had a dream that he killed the damn president. But they didn’t catch Damion The Demon Seed because there was no evidence. He then rapes someone next who has AIDs. Damion went to school and stuck the teacher with a pencil. He rammed the pencil in her temple. He didn’t mean it though. He was just playing, man. Everyone screamed and ran. Eventually Damion is thrown in jail permanently for his actions. Damion will see his next victim through the eyes of a killer.
The disheartening distorted chorus begins chanting “Kill ‘em, Dame! Kill ‘em, Dame! Kill ‘em!” again. It only gets worse now.
Damion won’t believe any witnesses because they will turn in state evidence for a couple hundred dollars. You all are lucky to be alive though. The 1990s were all about survival. Damion is insane. Damion drives people to the edge of insanity. Through the eyes of a killer it only gets worse. Damion is now a wanted man. Chances of a fair trial are at 0%. It ain’t worse than the hell Damion’s written! So why should anyone run? Heaven’s too far on the other side for him to go. Besides his homies in hell he’d hate to see himself go.
Damion has a flashback where stole an uzi and shot at everybody in sight. He couldn’t help it due to the feeling. Damion will see his next victim through the eyes of a killer. It only gets worse now.
Dear Momma was a track Damion The Demon Seed wrote for his mother Brenda Doxie. He tells her for all the drama he’s surely caused. Damion wants to tell his mother he loves her but he doesn’t know how. Dear Momma is surely a heartfelt track. Damion shows us that he’s learned his lessons from the trials and tribulations of his life through trial and error. He knows he’s smart but he doesn’t apply himself in school.
[The legend of this track is when Tupac came to Flint with MC Breed in 1993, he bought the master copy off of Damion and then released his own song "Dear Mama" which of course became a national hit. Tupac didn't give Damion credit for the song. If you listen to the lyrics of the song they are very similar in style and sound. MC Breed had connections with U Be U Studios in Saginaw and that is how Tupac met Damion and the Skanless Family. Tupac had connections to the Michigan music scene as well.]
Skanless Family Outro is a 9 minute Skanless Family posse cut with Damion The Demon Seed, Dirty Jerk, Bone Skanless, and Mack Tha Jacka. The background music is heavily distorted and the dark mood is present. The electronically processed beats are fast paced. Most of the tracks sound quality is distorted, however.
Damion The Demon Seed and Dirty Jerk are first off to bat. Smell the smoke from the hell Damion brings to you. It chokes the angels with the harps as they sing to you. Damion just makes matters worse even thought this is the beginning.
What’s on your mind? Dirty Jerk replies “Murders in big numbers.” meaning that Dirty Jerk will put you six feet under the ground. Dirty Jerk digs deep inside his soul and tries to find himself. He thinks how deadly his mind can be. He’s the type of person to cut your fingers off, lace them cocaine, and smoke them. His father said he was a mistake so now he wants to choke him. An erection led him to be confused for no reason. He can’t see reality as he is blinded off it. Dirty Jerk can’t find reality. Don’t make him blow up because Dirty Jerk is deadly as a bomb see. It ain’t shit unless you involved. It makes his day to commit a murder. The bodies buried in the backyard before they start to smell. Before they catch death, it will be a cold day in hell.
In comes the disheartening distorted chorus chanting “Damion The Demon Seed” repetitively. Damion joined the Skanless Family because his father didn't like him. He made his shrink go crazy too. Insanity is what he pleads for reason in doing so.
Damion is on a level that you can’t relate. If you want to step to him choose your fate. Damion has problems he can’t solve by using medicine. The devil is still inside of Damion and is killing him but hesitant. Damion heard a voice in his bedroom telling him he’d be dead soon. Fuck ‘em all. Damion ain’t scared. The night falls dark and gloomy. He done went insane boy. His bookcase appears to be moving. He tries to save his mother from the drama. It sounds crazy, don’t it? Damion is not liable for his actions though. He picked up a bible and slammed it on the floor because he couldn’t understand it. The bible burns into flames. He then turns to the mirror to find out he’s disappearing like a genie. Damion sees visions of demons. It’s seems like a dream, but things are not done with it. It’s just the same shit old.
Angels are singing in his ear. They appeared to have killed an old lady with a baby. That old lady is his dear mother. Her body falls to wall. Blood quick splatters. He tries to save his mother from the drama. What the fuck? Next he reached and grabbed her throat. It was over when Damion heard his name.
Mack Tha Jacka and Bone Skanless kick it secondly. Mack Tha Jacka introduces us to him first. Bone goes second. Mack Tha Jacka tells about a murder committed on a fool. Mack Tha Jacka talks about how he had people jealous about the Skanless Family. Next up, Bone Skanless kicks off an impromptu freestyle about Damion The Demon Seed. It ain’t nothing to Bone Skanless. This is skanless shit. Everything the Skanless Family did was scandalous. So cold and so skanless.
Damion himself is a nightmare as he describes. So people fear him in their dreams. He’s down with the Skanless Klick. He’s kicking the skanless shit. He’ll be going to his own funeral. Damion eats souls until he gets full. Damion went crazy.
Mack Tha Jacka and Bone Skanless kick it off last. Next up, Bone Skanless kicks off an impromptu freestyle about Damion The Demon Seed. This is a killer outro!
[The legend of this tape is when Tupac came to Flint with MC Breed in 1993, he bought the master copy off of Damion and then released his own song "Dear Mama" which of course became a national hit. This self-titled album on cassette is way wicked, murderous, and bad ass! Damion The Demon Seed does not get the credit he deserves. Although he didn’t get much credit in the music industry for his work, he still made a name for himself in the underground music scene. Many knew on his whereabouts and efforts there. Damion The Demon Seed is Saginaw's most underrated along with Dirty Jerk, Mack Tha Jacka, Astray, Dangerous D, Trigga Tre, Madam Dane, Nalda, and too many others to name.
After 1994 Damon just disappeared from music and artistry. Since then nothing has been heard about him. Other than that, Damion The Demon Seed had a couple of albums that were released on cassettes in the Saginaw Valley area. Most of them were pretty shortened though. Apparently Damion does art from time to time as a design artist.
I rate this album, Damion The Demon Seed, 5/5*****!!
