History of Roosevelt Free Methodist Church explored.

Roosevelt Free Methodist Church is one of the many forgotten churches of Flint, Michigan that has been long forgotten. The history of this church has not been very well preserved. Roosevelt Free Methodist Church also went under the name of Roosevelt Avenue Free Methodist Church and Flint Second Church.

This church was established at the corner of Willow Street and Roosevelt Avenue sometime possibly during the 1920s. The church was established by free thinking Methodists in Flint. There was a lack of Methodist churches in the area at that time. Roosevelt Free Methodist Church was first known as Flint Second Church. Flint Second Church was the first name for this church before becoming Roosevelt Free Methodist Church. Their address was 1237 Roosevelt Avenue.
