Mixerr Album Reviews #2,434

DJ Sneak ‎– Da Pimpdoggy is a disco house record perfect for the dance floor. These are undoubtedly some upbeat dance floors cuts. DJ Sneak was in his prime when he released this EP in 1995. He practically ruled disco house in Chicago back then.

DJ Sneak uses his signature Sneak-y style on All Over (My Face)! by sneaking a couple of borrowed vocal samples over a set of tribal drums. The song starts off with an extremely long intro which turns quickly into uptempo beats and chords. Here the intro uses a lot of buildup. The song uses a groovy guitar track which is where those groovy chords come from. The bass is very low. You will dance your ass off to this on loop. Some people think the song starts off kind of boring as the intro is too long and bothersome. That is their interpretation. However that does not prevent All Over (My Face)! from being a top house banger.

Because Your Love Ain't True powered by a loud thunderous pultruding kick drum beat which is backed by the occasional muffled jazzy saxophone. However the vocal samples can hardly be heard and are inaudible. But that does not stop this song from being a house banger.

Che-Chez Fame is an old school house tune which is a classic banger to this day. This song used to do numbers on the dance floor in Chicago. This song will bring back those good memories of those good times on the dance floor. A faint piano sample can be heard playing faintly in the background. A French vocal sample is used also.

I rate this single 4/5****!
