Mixerr Album Reviews #104

This is Michael Mixerr. I will review Alumnyh - The Album. This album was released on Born Soul Productions in 1999 with distribution by Southwest Wholesale and INDI. Alumnyh was a one time thing only. Born Soul Productions is based outta Austin, Texas.

The Intro explains who Alumnyh is and who the members are. Alumnyh is Born Soul, Mr. Man, Luscious T, R.C., Mello D, Chieve, Hennessey, and Golden Child. The Alumnyh song has nearly all the members of Alumnyh all on one track. Nursery Rhyme samples Tom Tom - Club Genius in a musical box instrument form. like how Alumnyh incorporated Hush Little Baby into rap on Nursery Rhyme. This should have been a single. In Drip Drop you can hear a sample from a Disney movie called Bambi. The song is Little April Shower.

Keep It Comin' samples Ron C - Funky Lyrics. Super sick bass on What Da Deal! Shzah Shzah is a Reggae fusion dancehall track. For the Love should have been a single. I loved the Fantasies track by Luscious T! Be Wit Me is a slow jam. I love the MIDI rock keyboard in the background. Great drum programming on the remix of Southern Fried Flav. Million Dollar Dreams is a catchy song. Lonely has a Latin feel to it. A slow song. Slave Chronicles is about Black History and a fast paced song! Slave Chronicles was produced by Reggie Coby. Too late is great song also!

I rate this album, Alumnyh The Album, 5/5*****!
