Mixerr Album Reviews #114

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Ultravox - U-Vox.

This album was released in 2009. This placed at a well receptive place on the UK BillBoard Charts, but the album was criticized by hardcore Ultravox fans. This was an Utravox reincarnation fronted by Midge Ure. To me, I think it was a new beginning for Ultravox. Unusual instrumentation was used. Billie Currie was the lone keyboardist of the band,

Same Old Story was an okay but not great song. Same Old Story reminded me of Van Halen and Outdates. Sweet Surrender has a good upbeat pace beats to it.  Dream ON sounds like a n Enya song. The Prize sounds like a theme song. All Fall Down is played like a Coda. Time To Kill should have been a single. Moon Madness is a hard song. Follow Your Heart is a great song! All In One Day is the last song that Midge Ure played while with the band. All In One Day was the lowest charting single by Ultravox reaching #88 on the charts in the UK. 3 is a better song. Dreams? is too short of a song.

If the Ultravox fans didn't pay too much to the conservative media and liberal media, maybe this album would have done better. And if Ultravox wasn't trying to change their sound then the album would done better as well.

I rate this album, U-Vox, 4/5****.
