Lil Cease - The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo album review

You are now entering 'The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo' on the introduction of this album but Lil Cease does not want to call the introduction of this album an introduction but rather as 'No Intro' which quickly turns into a dedication track which is slightly unusual for your average album. But Lil Cease lets us know in advance that The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo is not your average album nor is he mellow about it. Lil Cease even goes as far to comparing himself to then-president Bill Clinton.

More Dangerous is one of my most favorite tracks off of The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo! The sad rainy day/morning blues added to the effects of danger to this track. The sound effects had an adverse effect of nature to the entire theme of this song.Lil Cease is neither mellow on this track either. More Dangerous is quite grimey and gritty. The more weed they puff the more dangerous they are!

Get Out Way is where Lil Cease and Blake C shine the most when rapping. Ya'll best to start running. Lil Cease is coming. Mase appears too I believe. One of my favorite tracks on The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo.
Lil Cease and Redman were great on Future Sport. They are the ones who stood out the most on Future Sport. The big synth horns fit in perfectly with melody for the Future Sport track. Future Sport is one of my other favorites on The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo album.

Lil Cease is looking for the right lady on Looking For A Lady. One that he would never leave. One that would be there for him on those romantic nights or those tragic days. Men need a lady in their life. It's been said time and time again. To sum it all up, Lil Cease basically needs a lady to be in his life. Looking For A Lady samples Need A Lady by Ronnie Laws.

Long Time Comin' is about how Lil Cease has been in the game since day one. Lil Cease wants it all. It's good but not great. Kelly Price does sing her most remarkable vocals on Girlfriend. The mood is rather mellow and calms the albums mood down. Girlfriend is a track to have sex to.

Play Around is the Ruff & Rugged hit single track on the album. Joe Hooker, Mr. Bristal, and Lil Kim do their best on this track. You don't want to 'play around' with them. They'll kill you!

Chickenheads is the slow mellow dance track the clears the dance floor for this album. The beats are smooth and slow paced. Various sexual references are made on Chickenheads. Carl Thomas is added as a bonus!

4 My Niggaz was the East Coast tribute answer to 2Pac - Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. in 1999. BK Style! Jay-Z's verse was bananas! Jay-Z was spitting raw. Mr. Bristal and Blake C was the ones with the most gruff voices. They stood out the most. 4 My Niggaz is the male posse cut of the album. Lil Cease, Jay-Z, Mr. Bristal, and Blake C are at their best when rapping on 4 My Niggaz. Another favorite track of mine with a handful of others off this album.

Work It Out is another one of my favorites off The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo album. It's a perfect track to play on the beach during summertime. That's why Work It Out is one of my favorite tracks. The melody is perfect. Musical notes in range are upbeat.

Mr. Nasty is a solo track written by Lil Cease. Yes finally! A track with no featured guest artists to ruin a great track. Lil Cease is quite good at songwriting. He should do more songwriting himself on future albums. Mr. Nasty is just basically rhymin' and rappin'. Mr. Nasty should have been a single too.

Dolly Baby is a track with Lil Cease and Total this time. Yes Total out of all girl R&B groups. Dolly Baby is very similar to Chickenheads, Looking For A Lady, and Girlfriend. The particular mood of Dolly Baby is quite timid, smooth, and mellow.

Don't Stop is another hot track on The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo album! Yes it's one of my favorites.
The bass is super sick! Don't Stop should have been a single itself. Also Don't Stop should have had a music video to accompany itself as a single for The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo album. Don't know what Atlantic Records was thinking at the time concerning promotions and marketing for this album. Lil Cease and Puff Daddy (Sean Combs) are at their best on this bomb ass track!

The track Everything is a dedication to the deceased Notorious B.I.G. for those who didn't know. Everything is a heartfelt track with soulful 112 singing. 112 is added as a bonus. Loosing the Notorious B.I.G. to Lil Cease was like loosing a brother.

The outro is more of a montage of various Notorious B.I.G. sound clippings dedicated to the deceased Notorious B.I.G. than an actual outro. Lil Cease lets us know at the end of The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo album that is B.I.G. & Cease forever! Many people were sure that this is how eventfully Lil Cease planned to end The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo album.

Lil Cease originally wanted to appear nude on the album but Atlantic Records forbid him in doing so due to the fact that Atlantic Records is a mega-corporation/record label. They would not let him. So as a result from corporate censorship, Lil Cease's genitals (penis and testicles) are blocked out by a military stencil font typeface with 'LIL CEASE' in big bold letters and arms from females of all races covering his testicles. It gets worse before it gets any better. Lil Cease's back is turned away from the viewer on the back cover as he is standing nude for a portrait. That gets censored too by corporate censorship because no one wants to see a grown man's naked ass. Really. Come on now. Him smiling and grinning real big on the front cover is what's creeping me out! Good god! That's just terrifying!

To sum it all up… The front cover is just creepy.  That's how Lil Cease turned GOAT into SCROAT for the album cover. (No disrespect to Lil Cease. The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo was a great album!)

To sum it all up…
The Lil Cease - The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo is the right way of having so many guest artists features, appearances, and contributions unlike Mr. Short Khop - Da Khop Shop album. Having Lil Kim, D-Roc, Puff Daddy, and Jacob York produce this album was a brehsive idea. Having a lot of guests artists on nearly all the tracks for one album usually annoys fans and listeners, but this an album you do not want a chance to miss out on or skip! This whole entire album had the right perfect sound. Having Blake C, Joe Hooker, Jay-Z, Lil Kim, Mr. Bristal, and Redman as guest artists was a great choice! Heck even Stevie J plays some instruments on some of the tracks. He does a good job at it too.

A lot of the tracks were filled with samples and interpolations which was unusual in 1999 due to the new music sample clearances and music rights laws that had resulted from the outcome from the Grand Upright Music, Ltd. v. Warner Bros. Records, Inc. ruling that all samples must be cleared with given consent from the original artist before being used. That altered the landscape of hip-hop and rap forever!

Other than that, The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo album was a great way to start off the new millennium for the Y2K! Lil Cease's album was so underrated! It was solid from beginning to end. Too bad The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo album was heavily under-promoted. Lil Cease could have furthered his music career if The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo album sold a lot better that it did.

Mack Tha Jacka - The True Story album review

The True Story album from 2001 that was released on Power Records and U BE U Records which was distributed by ADA (WMG). Mack Tha Jacka - The True Story album charted #21 & #28 on the Top #100 Billboard Charts back in 2001.

Mack Tha Jacka was the first solo rap artist from Saginaw, Michigan to have an album chart on the BillBoard! Mack Tha Jacka did an across the country all over the United States and Canada for promotion and to gain support for The True Story album.
Most of this album was recorded at U BE U Studios and Smooth Side Records in Saginaw as most of Mack Tha Jacka's albums are. Leroy McMath, Pleasure Sparks, Gee Pierce lent a hand in production for this chart topping album!

Local artists whom were featured and made contributions towards this album were Bone Skanless of Skanless Family & Skanbino Mob (R.I.P.), Chicago/Saginaw/Flint rap group Ill Street, Saginaw's Madame Dane, Daddy Madd (Napalm), Family Deep, Atlantic Starr, Dirty Jerk, Swift D, Pimpin' P, and The Dayton Family's own Bootlegg from Flint!

Mack Tha Jack'a is a reprise of the same song from Mack Tha Jacka's self-titled debut album/EP from 1993. Mack Tha Jacka tells us where he's been on this track. He tells us he has been on tour all across the country for promoting The True Story album. He's no longer a thug from around the way despite being a gangsta rapper.

Dreaming is an interpolation of Am I Dreaming by Atlantic Starr. Dreaming by Mack Tha Jacka is basically a cover version of Am I Dreaming by Atlantic Starr. A real soul based slow jam. A great tune to play during the nighttime. It was a great song.

It's Stevie Mack dressed in black carrying a semi-automatic gun weapon down the block. It could be down your block he's walking to on Here Comes The Mack. Mack Tha Jack is taking no shorts and losses on Here Comes The Mack as he spits game from the old school to the new school. He wants it all as he's in it to win it. Remember. Just watch yo back! The Dayton Family's own Bootlegg from Flint makes an appearance on this ghetto ass track.

My Life Is A Battlefield is about trials and tribulation in the gangster lifestyle of Mack Tha Jacka. From the time he was a kid into the timeframe he was sentenced to bootcamp all the way towards 2001. Growing up in the ghetto is tough when you're living the gangster lifestyle. Always worrying about whether or not you make it to the next day. Getting chased by police.

Watch yo back! Because Stevie Mack is dressed in all black carrying a semi-automatic weapon down the block on Watch Yo Back. He's warning all busters, snitches, and bitches to watch out for themeselves. Sucker MC's better watch their back. Haters too. Remember. Just watch yo back!

Bone Skanless and Swift D keep it real brehsive on I Keeps It Real with Skanless Family and Skanbino Mob. Keepin' it real is something Mack Tha Jacka, Skanless Family, and Skanbino Mob know how to do. We get the privilege to hear Daddy Madd (Napalm) on Fuck'Em All! That's a factor of what makes this album so great. Fuck'Em All is one bomb ass track!

Mack Tha Jacka is doing the right thing by having all those guest artists on this album.I know having a lot of guests artists on nearly all the tracks for one album usually annoys fans and listeners, but this an album you do not want a chance to miss out on or skip similar to the Lil Cease - The Wonderful World of Cease album from 1999! This whole entire album had the right perfect sound. Mack Tha Jacka - The True Story is the right way of having so many guest artists features, appearances, and contributions.

Renee Anderson album review

The Renee Anderson album was on MCA Records from 1997. DeVante Swing of Jodeci was the main executive producer for her album. Regi Moore was the main producer for her debut album. Static Major did feature as a guest artist.

On Gonna Be Your Night, Renee Anderson has an alto voice similar to Gina Thompson. The bass and drums really add into the effect of Renee's alto voice. Gonna Be Your Night is a good song to listen to during the twilight of the night.

Wind was a calm smooth soothing soul ballad that Tweet would partake in. The wind and low-pitch keynotes set a monotone vibe for the whole track. All of the Wind track is mellow and calm.

[This album was not officially released by MCA Records or Swing Mob Records as it was only released on CD format as a promo album to radio stations in the Rochester, New York area.]

The reason for that is because Renee Anderson was supposed to release her debut album on Swing Mob Records/MCA Records in 1997 but what DeVante Swing wanted to do was have sex with Renee Anderson and she told him no as she was legally a minor. (Renee Anderson was only 16 at the time.) So DeVante Swing was angered by this and set the copies of the master reels of her debut album on fire. DeVante had burned any remaining copies of Renee's debut album making it impossible to find. Thus eventually led to DeVante having an extremely violent meltdown. (DeVante was really strung out on hazardous drugs during this period.) After that Renee left DeVante later that fateful night. This incident led Renee Anderson to leave the music business for good!

(What DeVante Swing wanted to do would constitute as sexual abuse of a minor, underage sex, rape, and sexual assault. To sum it all up, DeVante Swing wanted Renee Anderson to sleep with him.)

Timothy Brothers self-titled album review

The Timothy Brothers are from Zambia which is a country located within the country of Africa. The Timothy Brothers is a singing group composed of students and faculty members at Namwianga Mission near the village of Kalomo, Zambia. Namwianga Mission is a branch off of the religious organization called Zambia Mission.  This recording was made for profit to fund and provide sponsorships for needy students in the country of Zambia. Timothy Brothers are composed of 6 members.

Congas and djembe are used for percussion for this album. The djemebe seems to used with the conga simultaneously at the same time. Conga and djembe are the drums used in this album. No drum kits or any drum synths from an electronic music keyboard are used. Despite all that most of this album is based on religious harmony and singing. The Timothy Brothers principles and religious beliefs are based into the religion of Christianity. Their guide in life is Jesus as proved on songs such as Jesus Will Give Us Life and Jesus in the Temple.

Sylosis - Dormant Heart album review

The whole album gives off an eerie vibe with the thrash metal meets death metal genre of Rock music. This Dormant Heart album will remind you of albums by Misfits, Bleed From Within, Cannibal Corpse, Amorphis, Firebird, and Nevermore. The Dormant Heart album will remind you of the Carcass - Surgical Steel album.
All you metal heads out there will endeavor this album! It will be an album you will regret not listening to! Zero (The Smashing Pumpkins Cover), Quiescent, Callous Souls, and Mercy are the best songs from the album Dormant Heart!

But something not totally righteous happened, Rob Callard departed Sylosis before the release of Dormant Heart. Something which I did not expect. How sad.

Watercolor medium painting for the album artwork gives off an eerie horror brooding vibe and feel when you first look at the album cover itself for the first time. The dark colors of green, teal, black, and blue ink make the album artwork seem very opaque. Completely opposite of gouache. The painting looks cool regardless.

NOFX - Self/Entitled album review

72 Hookers is about prostitution, suicide, sexuality, and political warfare. Hookers don't hate people in general. They just hate their lives. Hookers often are bound to commit acts of suicide. These hookers don't want a coup or to be in a coup. Terrorists promised 16 year olds Jihad sex. You know the rest will be about sex and politics.

Ronnie & Mags takes into the mindset of a conservative person who wants to send these welfare bums right back to work in order to start an unnecessary dirty war in El Salvador. Then this conservative person is going to financially back and support the Contras, CIA, and the Apartheid in South Africa. The this person will win the election by a landslide from the votes. Now it's time to grab hostages from Iran and bomb Grenada. More bombs are being built as the song continues. This song is satire about the conservative agenda in the United States. [The song Ronnie and Mags is about Ronald “Ronnie” Reagan (former US president) and Margaret “Maggie” Thatcher (former British Prime Minister).]

I, Fatty is all about teasing fat people. You know that fat kid in class who couldn't run laps in PE for drab? Well that is what this song is about. Fat people seem to always have bad when it comes down to society standards. Even back then.

A lot of music critics and news organizations such as Absolute Punk called this album "uninspired mediocrity". But that's not true. This is a party rock album mixed within the political punk rock sound which we as NOFX fans expected. Most of this album is about the imminent decline of human civilization.

Federal Bison - The Taste EP review

The Taste EP by Federal Bison was released on CD in 2015.

The song Let It Out is about letting your emotions out instead of bottling them up inside your body. Let It Out is a heavy rock song filled with such raw emotion quite similar to the love ballad Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith. The title of this song composition itself tells us that this particular song is filled with emotion. Federal Bison isn't a psychedelic classic rock band unto themselves either as Aerosmith is. Let It Out is the best track off the EP into itself.

This Time is another rock jam. This Time won't be like the last time. Things in life aren't always going to stay the same at all.

Federal Bison isn't a hardcore thrash metal band unto themselves either. While most of this album was rather shortened, The Taste was intended to be an EP.

Pearl Jam - Ten album review

The album entitled to its own right called Ten has proven to be a classical masterpiece in the Seattle grunge scene since the 1990s. Realistically, the Ten album proved to be a success with Pearl Jam. This album was the blueprint laid down for the Seattle grunge scene. After that, all grunge rock bands in Seattle, Washington had followed suit with the release of the Ten album. When Ten was released in 1991 on Epic Records, Pearl Jam proved to to them that any posthumous albums by the band would be a huge success thus charting in single-digit numbers on the BillBoard Charts.

Alive would be the first single from the Ten album released in 1991. Pearl Jam had chosen the song Alive to be the first single for the album Ten. Alive was the best grunge single for this album. I really loved it and you will too!

Once should have been chosen as a single as well. Epic should have given Pearl Jam a chance to allow an opportunity to make Once into a music video and to make Once into a single. Epic should have given Pearl Jam a chance to make Once as a single for the Ten album. Once sounds like slow rock and grunge.

Mad Deep & Mental - DA Blueprint album review

DA Blueprint was released on cassette only on MDM Records in Detroit, Michigan.

What's Mad Deep & Mental? It's a mind state. It's for every young nigga having dreams to be. So real. Mad Deep & Mental is for them hip hop heads. Rhythm, melody, and harmony is what makes the togetherness in music. It's the rap music! Mad Deep & Mental is a Hip Hop/Rap group of two dudes named Nostra and Young Kami. Mad Deep & Mental is one dope ass underrated Hip Hop/Rap group comin' from the Big D! MDM Records roster was Mad Deep & Mental, Papa Joe, D-Bone, and NHB (Niggaz Handlin' Business). Papa Joe produced, arranged, and mixed most of this album.

MDM Records and Mad Deep & Mental started in Detroit in 1993. To this day, Mad Deep & Mental still perform at live shows on the Eastside of Detroit often. When you listen to Mad Deep & Mental, just think old school hip hop meets gangsta rap and acid rap with added bass & drums.

Gettin' High 2 Get By is a real rugged grimey acid rap track mixed within G-Funk synths from the Gangsta Rap era. The volume is set to a high pitch. The percussion is quite distorted along with the entire track production. Many various distorted uncouth sound bits of noises are played at a high volume throughout the track. Gettin' High 2 Get By is a 420 track. So please don't get this shit all twisted! Okay?  Gettin' High 2 Get By is super dope madd ill!

Young Kamikaze is living deadly while he blazes it up until niggaz come and get him. As Young Kamikaze clocks the G's he rocks the beats. So forgive the words that Young Kamikaze speaks as he is from the ghetto streets of Detroit. He has no choice but to carry heat. In his hood is so much pain and sorrow. Niggaz are dying beside him. Will they feel him? Will they understand? Young Kamikaze is just a man trying to live life and getting high to get by.

Nostradamus sees G's in his reality, memories, and dreams of course. Nostradamus just wants to get out of this bullshit and live life. His dreams have been turned into nightmares. He wonders where to go from here. Times are hopeless. But… There's a thin line between paranoid and alertness.

Young Kami is living like a hermit in this world on the dark moody track called Mental Problems. Mental Problems is one sick dark, brooding dope ass track! The heavy pounding notes of the super heavy basslines really give in to the element of darkness that this track really has. Mental Problems is about dealing with the stress, anxiety, bitterness, anger, frustration of having mental problems. Hence the name.

The thick, super heavy bassline of Mental Problems will remind you The Unforgiven track by X-Raided on his 1999 album The Unforgiven he recorded from behind prison bars at Salinas Valley State Prison in California. Of course the sample used is Cebu by The Commodores. To put it basically, Mental Problems sounds very similar to The Unforgiven track by X-Raided.

On From The East To The West, Nostra and Young Kami explain how they have the East Coast and West Coast on lock. From the East to the West niggaz getting snubbed. They all smoke sess (green-leaf or kush). Papa Joe makes some appearances on this gangsta ass track.

I Wanna See The Light is a nostalgic heartfelt sentimental rap pop song reflecting on the past of Nostradamus. The song I Wanna See The Light hit hard and home too. It hit harder than a motherfucker! It really did! I
I Wanna See The Light samples Lady In My Life by 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson. The sample fits in perfectly with the song's theme of sadness and nostalgia.

Nostradamus often looks into these kids faces and he see this happy place he once lived in during his younger days. Before the pussy, the money, and the shady friends. He wore the pro wing afros and hand me down clothes. A nigga gettin' rejected by the hoes. But it was so. He was a kid who could smile. A happy child then. Nostradamus wishes he could go back every now and then. Remember them hot sunny days and ice cream. Nostradamus does. Way before the high rises when he was a little kid who didn't want a lot. Back when Nostradamus watched cartoons on Saturday mornings. Now this way before Nostradamus knew about what world he was born in. Before he knew the stress and pain that was hard. Before these streets had a chance to test his faith in God. He said it would never be easy and Nostradamus is a believer. But damn, he never said it would be hard either. Nostradamus wants to see the light. I wanna see the light!

All Nostradamus wanted to be was his momma's child. To wake up in the morning to see his momma smile. But all Nostradamus can see is the strain in her face telling him that the game is a waste. They kicked it about two times about the wicked world and how they wicked. His friends showed him crime pays. His mother says those are evil ways. But these are evil days. These days are evil.
God's coming to get us is how she tells Nostradamus the story. Nostradamus wishes he could agree. We all going to hell! Nostradamus wants to see the light for what it's worth. It just seems wicked things we done did on this Earth God turned his back to forget us. For what it's worth.

He ain't never coming to get us. She said God's supposed to forgive you for your sins if you repent. Nostradamus sits and shakes his head saying he's got to represent. His mother prays for his soul because she knows his heart is filled with good. Nostradamus tells his mother to pray for these kids in these neighborhoods and happiness.

Nostradamus hears all these preachers preaching all this peace and love. Then Nostradamus sees these silly streets with these thieves and drugs. Sometimes Nostradamus wonders why they won't go out and preach to them. Preachers can't be scared of hoodlums, can they? Nostradamus fears no man. That's what they preach. And Nostradamus fears these niggaz shootin' on the streets. These kid's have ain't got no love. These streets are led by hot spots and gunshots that barely cease fire. That's why Nostradamus sits here and reminisces on those times that have passed and wondering why those times went by so fast.

But now Nostradamus is living like a big shot with a big salary! Suddenly gunshots bring Nostradamus right back to reality! The same kids dying and families crying. Now if there really was a God, would he let this happen? I wanna see the light!

MDM is beaking it down on Question Mark! It's all about this MDM thing. The drums & bass on Question Mark are super sick!! Kamikaze flows off the hardest on this song! It was a true kamikaze. Nostradamus was saying shit way before his time! This song is mostly about questions.

Steady Blaze is a song to blaze up a smoke to and light up another doobie. It's all about smoking that purple kush. Steady Blaze is a 420 song. So please don't get this shit all twisted! Okay? Steady Blaze is super dope madd ill! Steady Blaze samples Cebu by The Commodores. Steady Blaze is also a lyrical freestyle filled with classic rap. The DJ scratches and breakbeats are super dope! Sick!

Fuck Where You Reside is where Nostra and Young Kami tear up and lyrically destroy all directions of the compass on the map! Step into the dome!

Nostra spits the rap game between your eyes. He breaks it down in styles. Nostra and Young Kami have been in the Detroit rap scene since 1984. This ain't no El Segundo. This is Detroit! Nostra and Young could give a fuck where you resides. Fake ass niggaz getting tossed. Fuck Where You Reside is a freestyle rap track.
Fuck Where You Reside samples The Notorious BIG - Juicy.

The Fuckin' Around Interlude starts off with Nostra rapping in a Jamaican Patois accent and beatboxing with breakbeats being played in the background. Later on in the interlude, Nostra gives shouts outs to various people and neighborhoods in Detroit.

Don't Stop The Music is where Nostra calls out politicians such as Delores Tucker, Deion Warren, then US President George W. Bush, and Dan Quale for going against freedom of speech in the music industry. Nostra calls out politicians for being hypocrites. So Nostra declares a lyrical war against his enemies and opponents in this song. Nostra and Young Kami don't like being told what to write, say, and produce when it comes to music.

These politicians called Mad Deep & Mental wicked because they curse out profanities on beats. They blame the world's evils on wax (vinyl) and cassette. Politicians can't call that freedom of speech and freedom of expression if they and lobbyists control the music business industry. Politicians lost touch with the world.

Don't Stop The Music samples Don't Stop The Music by Yarbrough and Peoples, and The Show by Dougie Fresh. The samples are a hit! The Don't Stop The Music sample fits in perfectly with this political rap song henceforth the title.

Da Blueprint was a blueprint of Detroit hip hop and Detroit rap along with acid rap and G-Funk. Some soul too at that. Mad Deep & Mental were so underrated and overlooked back in the days! It's too bad they never got the shine that they truly had deserved.

Yeti Chasers - I've Got My Fingers EP review

The chorus lines that are being sung on I've Got My Fingers Crossed are lovely. The chorus is the highlight of this song. The enthusiasm and good humor on this song are remarkable. The male singers put in a good effort in their sympathy towards humor.

The trombone and trumpet work are very superb on Don't Blame Me. Dan Barrett does superb trombone work. The trumpet work is similar to the style of musical notes played on trumpet by Bobby Sherwood. The soprano and clarinet work are quite fine works too. This EP has that 1930s feel of bebop Jazz.

Edward Woodward ‎- Edwardian Woodward album review

Pop male vocalist Edward Woodward is from the UK. This album is filled with classic pop ballads and classic love ballads in one full album. Just think classical music in general. Edward Woodward ‎is not a very well known fellow at all. No one in the music industry really knows about his true whereabouts.

When you listen to this classical masterpiece of an album, you will automatically think of the classical Baroque sound that is extremely prevalent in classical music of that period. The Edwardian parlour music that is performed on this album is coming from the sounds of the Edwardian parlour music machines to fit in with the mood and tone of this album.

You will enjoy the winding, piping, creaking, and wood-knocking sounds of the Edwardian parlour music that is performed on this album from the sounds of the Edwardian parlour music machines! You will enjoy the winding and piping that come from the chiming wood pipe organs.

Gaunt Story - Nothing Holds You Like A Song album review

Nothing Holds You Like A Song sounds very similar to an exalted bedraggled novella perhaps. The songs on this album are stories created by songwriter Robert Ashworth. What happens is that Robert Ashworth creates songs that are stories with a lyrical cryptic intimacy as pretty as a soundscape. The baritone is set a standard level as most of the compositions on this album are set to a traditional 4/4 beat. Also, Robert Ashworth is multi-instrumental talented. There's no room for filler ego-centric material on this composition. In other words, there's no room for filler material on this album. Nothing Holds You Like A Song is composition album that twists and turns itself inside out. It's great!

Quills - The Spirit Level album review

Quills is a songwriter from Liverpool, Merseyside, England, United Kingdom.

Feathers and Tar is quite a mellow soft rock song. I was expecting Feathers and Tar to be a hard rock/heavy metal song filled with hardcore rock with hard hitting bradaggio. Nevertheless, Feathers and Tar proves to be a great slow soft mellow song played on by a Folk guitar heavily used in Folk music. When you The song itself will stick to you like feathers and glue.

Lost In The Crowd is about finding yourself about where you in society and social groups. It's also about conforming to society's standards. Lost In The Crowd is an isolated desolate song. The crickets in the back ground add to an eerie effect. A Baroque harpsichord that is prevalent in English Folk Opera is used in this song.

Cocaine Nights is an unusual weird quirky tune. The brooding guitar notes playing fit in perfectly with this longish tune. Cocaine Nights deals with the abusive use of cocaine along harmful chemically unbalanced drugs. In other words, Cocaine Nights deals with the topic of drug abuse. We need an acoustic song like this during this day and time because there are not enough songs out there in the masses that deal with drug abuse and can relate to the crowd masses.

Statues is a smooth timid folk song. The reverb mixes within the echo background. To me, Statues was a good title for an instrumental track. If Statues was an instrumental track, it would have been a lot better. However I do think that Statues is an ideal track for an instrumental song.

The Spirit Level album is a complex masterpiece of work that truly somewhat stands out in music. Most of this album is filled with lovely melodies.

6 Piece - Phase 1 album review

6 Piece was an Atlanta 6-piece boy band back in the early 2000s and were signed to No Limit Records. 6 Piece was the opening act for Lil Romeo on tour. Kevin Swan stood out as the most memorable group member of 6 Piece in his tenure.

My First, My Last was their first single. The girlies went nuts when 6 Piece performed My First, My Last live on stage. Everyone loved this song back in the day. It was a sweet love song. Just pure and clean with no overhyped sexuality. No autotune was used at all. My First, My Last is great! Especially like the remix version!

Don't Go, The Wish Song, and Been Too Long are sweet tracks.

Now perhaps if 6 Piece came out in an earlier decade and were fresh back in the day. They would have been on the same level as the Backstreet Boys. It was due to the fact of over saturation of boy bands in early turn of the 21st century that caused 6 Piece to be overlooked. This is a great album for anyone who is a pop fan.
