Lil Mo - P.S. iLoveMe album review

iLoveMe that came out on CD from on her independent label HoneyChild Entertainment back in 2011.
This album's production a lot better and louder volume-wise than the Pain & Paper album was. Lil Mo is back to her 4 star self on this album! Songs like Take Me Away, Love Song, Movie, Higher, and iLoveMe with songstress/soul vocalist Tweet are highlight tracks. Every song on here is a banger!

iLoveMe features songstress and soul vocalist Tweet. Tweet lays down the smooth slow melody with her smooth soulful voice. iLoveMe is a Lil Mo and Tweet duet. The song iLoveMe raises awareness in self-love. The song iLoveMe is about self-love. Loving yourself for who you are. Lil Mo and Tweet take it to church on this one! iLoveMe is a love song of course.

The uprising of dawn begins with a piano solo at the beginning of iLoveMe. Beautiful job on the viola chorus in the background. The violins help accompany the viola. Lil Mo incorporates elements of rock laced into soul music on iLoveMe.

Lil Mo doesn’t know what self-love feels like. Lil Mo doesn’t where to begin. So she’ll start right here. Just when Lil Mo was about to give up, he pulled up to her heart. The man wants a bond with her. Something about him seemed so different to Lil Mo. Something that she never felt. It feels like she lost herself trying to find him. It feels like she’s living a lie just for him. So now it’s time to tell the truth. iLoveMe more than iLoveYou. Lil Mo finds out that she loves herself more than she loves you.

Tweet is next up. Tweet lays down the smooth slow melody with her smooth soulful voice. She is tired of walking the thin line and hitting walls of regret & sorrow. It’s better that they call it quits. Just when Tweet was about to give up, he pulled up to her heart. Sharing love with him is so innocent and heaven sent. (It feels like she forced herself trying to love him.) It feels like she’s living a lie just for him. So now it’s time to tell the truth. iLoveMe more than iLoveYou.

Because you have changed. Tweet no longer gives to you pain. Love remains here with Tweet. (Love remains here with me.) She made it through the pain and she finally sees clearly. So clearly. Tweet finds out that she loves herself more than she loves you.

On The Floor has that Baltimore go-go dance sound to it with usage of the new school soul. On The Floor is dedicated to ladies up in the club. The beats are quite hyphy. One can wonder if Lil Mo or the producer was influenced by the Bay Area hyphy sound when it came to music production. Lil Mo’s lyrics and ad-libbing is super superb. Fatman Scoop does his usual annoying chanting in the background which ruins the whole song of course. But that’s what he does best and what he is internationally know for. Take Missy Elliott - Loose Control (feat. Batman Scoop and Ciara) for instance.

On The Floor is an ode to ladies in the club and to the dancers outside. Dancers will love dancing to the track as the bpm is perfect for such dancing to. On The Floor is a song that makes you want to move and groove. The go-go dance sound from Baltimore is perfect for this track.

Love Song has that nostalgic childhood memories/playful mood feeling to it. It feels as if you are taking a walk down memory lane when listening to love song. The beats are on point and the production is extremely loud as the volume for some reason has been turned up very high. Love Song is, well, obviously a love song of course.

Perfect Man is about how Lil Mo is looking for the perfect man to be her wife. Lil Mo is looking for “the one” exactly for her. She is addicted to a man’s love. Lil Mo is looking for someone to love and hold on to. She’s looking for someone she can trust. But she has not someone for herself truly for her. She wonders if she’ll ever be complete.

The Creeps - Suckin' Suds & Fuckin' Chubs album review

Suckin' Suds & Fuckin' Chubs was an album that was in 2013 by The Creeps with 19 songs featuring Rossibreath from siccnessdotnet, Indecent the Slapmaster, LiterACola, lesbianyayo, and others.
(The Creeps is an electronic/rap group out of Menasha, Wisconsin.)

Da roof, da roof is on fire, we don't use rubbers! We use lubricant on the song We Don't Use Rubbers. The song We Don't Use Rubbers is an ode no usage of condoms. We Don't Use Rubbers is kind of similar to UTFO - Bone It and Bag It which is an ode to raincoats.

Imagine waking up on a strange couch in a strange town where you don't know what the fuck exactly is going on. But shit's about to go down. That is what you'll experience on the song Hangover Anxiety. Everything is all fucked up and foggy. Anxiety is creepin' alone. The clothes hanger part was extremely funny. The texts parts were also funny.

Average Joe is about the life of an average joe named Rossibreath. The beats are subpar and the lyrics are average. From the streets of Wisconsin comes the triple OG Rossibreath. He is really cool and stuff. He drinks a lot of Carlos Rossi and his breath smells like a vineyard. Rossibreath loves sipping fine wine.

50 Guys tells us the tall tale about this promiscuous slut who gives it up for nothing. This promiscuous slut sleeps with any dude possible. Drunk eyes don’t lie and neither does promiscuity. That’s why the slut slept with 50 guys.  Chris, Rossibreath, and savage come rolling thru next. The lesbianyayo verses were the best! The track is so sick with them. References to anal sex and cuninglingous are made throughout 50 Guys.

Let's Gets Drunk is an ode to getting drunk. You will love the heavy bass and beats on snooze. It's another “get drunk and pass out” song.

What a Creep U Are is a dedication track to all the creeps out there. Maybe even the freaks too. What a Creep U Are has a stalkers theme to it.

The bass hits super heavy on both ends of the speakers throughout the duration of the track Ghost. The bass hits harder than a motherfucker! The beats are super brehsive! If you ain’t bumpin’ this, then get ghost! The Creeps rapping is a lot better than a lot of peoples first try at rapping. Usually people are not really secure of themselves at trying rapping. They sound all nervous and awkward. So that makes the listener/crowd feel awkward too and not like the artist.

Lenbiasyayo try out experimenting with G-Funks on Roll Yer Windows Down. The raps are super brehsive! Tis the season to drink tall cans on Roll Yer Windows Down. It’s time to go dating for chicks in the state of Wisconsin.

Jolly is an ode to pharmaceutical drugs. Jolly is a dedication track to all the creeps, druggies, and freaks out there. The bass is loopy.

The lesbianyayo verses were the best! The beats are funky! Lenbiasyayo produced songs for the whole album. Lenbiasyayo is a producer. He did quite a dope brehsive job in production.

The Creeps album is better than a lot of peoples first try at rapping. Usually they're not really secure of themselves at trying. They sound all nervous and awkward. So that makes the listener/crowd feel awkward too and not like the artist. People who thought The Creeps were wack are wrong! The Creeps band members are actually confident and having fun not giving a fuck about shit. Most of the album is all about having fun. That's why the albums mood is so easy-going.

Roll Yer Windows Down, Open Intoxicants, Hangover Anxiety, Ghost, Snooze, and Reel Creeps are the best songs on the album!

Adele - 25 album review

Adele returns to the music scene after along awaited hiatus with the comeback album 25 for 2015! Adele rescues us from the sounds of intolerable music coming from mainstream radio with her singing. It is truly a refresher for the music industry out there. Her vocals range perfectly on the high notes to the low notes in terms of signing. Adele returns with a classy enchanted elegant album entitled 25 with her notable vocal range in her singing. Her voice is very thoroughly perfect throughout the 25 album. Every song is an autobiographical love ballad as was the case with her 21 album from the year of 2011.

Hello is the first single off the album 25. Hello is a sorrowful love ballad about saying goodbye to a lover from past times. She called him a thousand times to say that she’s sorry for hurting him so bad emotionally. She really wanted to tell her lover that she was really sorry for all the troubles caused and emotional damage inflicted upon them.

Adele's singing registers very high on the baritone as she sings her heart out on Hello.  Adele uses both the low and high notes in terminology of musical notes on the musical scale. The musical notes sung match with the musical scale from this love ballad composition. Her musical notes are well sung and well spoken! Her singing does register very high on the baritone. The piano looms in a sorrowful mood rather than upbeat or perky. The percussion ensemble is up to par with the song's mood.

Hello has been the most promoted single and music video from the album 25 since Hello achieved international success ever since being released on the airwaves by radio stations across the planet. XL Recordings really only promoted Hello as the main single for 25 unlike the 21 album from 2011 where Rolling In The Deep, Set Fire To The Rain, Someone Like You, Rumor Has It, Turning Tables, Lovesong, Take It All, and Don't You Remember were promoted as singles. Other than that, Hello has been the most prominent single from the 25 album.

XL Recordings with Adele put forth a lot of effort into Hello. The video production for the music video is screened at high quality. The monochromatic color schemes such as sepia and greyscale blend in thoroughly excellent with the sorrowful mood of the music video Hello. When you listen to Hello, you will get a feel of nostalgia.

When We Were Young was about reminiscing over past memories of a lifetime. When We Were Young does rather sound similar to another love ballad about a previous past time lover due to a breakup in a relationship. The song When We Were Young is a nostalgic vibe of reality. The song When We Were Young is very nostalgic themed. One day, you're 15 years of age and the next day you are 50.

The key of E major follows a moderately slow groove of 72 bpm. Adele's vocals do span two octaves from E 3 to E 5 on the E major scale. She managed to register at E 6 on the music scale with her singing. The moderate use of E major for musical notes on the musical scale is outstanding!

I Miss You is an ode to another previous past time lover that came and went into her lifetime. Perhaps from a previous relationship that Adele broke away from. The love ballad I Miss You is a slow and sweet composition. The musical notes on the musical scale are just outstanding.

Adele takes us to church on River Lea. River Lea has that gospel feeling to it. River Lea is another slow and sweet composition as I Miss You was. She managed to register at E 6 on the music scale with her singing. However she messes around with the musical chords even more on River Lea than any other song on the 25. The chords ranged from C to D to E to F on a major scale on the musical scale.

XL Recordings really only promoted Hello as the main single for 25 unlike the 21 album from 2011 where Rolling In The Deep, Set Fire To The Rain, Someone Like You, Rumor Has It, Turning Tables, Lovesong, and Don't You Remember were promoted as singles. 25 didn't have a wide variety array of singles as was the particular case was with the 21 album by Adele. 25 didn't offer a variety of singles for Adele fans as the 21 album did.

Think of this album as an overnight success because that's what happened again as was the case with the 21 album. 25 sold sales of millions in terms of weeks. The fact that 25 was an overnight success especially after 4 years of silence in music career is absolutely amazing!

Kanye West - The Life Of Pablo album review

The Life Of Pablo album by Kanye West has been given the popular abbreviation TLOP by Kanye West fans and Kanye West stans. This had made The Life Of Pablo album rise in terms of popularity. TLOP is the most discussed Kayne West album of 2016 by music critics, journalists, and fans alike. It’s scattered nature gave the album positive reviews due to the musical content of the album.

The album cover artwork of The Life Of Pablo by Kanye West seems to have been slapped up in MS Paint. Is the new standard to have album covers created in MS Paint now? Is this the new standard? Kanye must have copied the idea from Frank Ocean - Channel Orange album. Kanye is trying to be like Frank Ocean and Future on TLOP.

TLOP was produced by a handful of producers such as Rick Rubin, Noah Goldstein, Frank Dukes, Havoc, Madlib, Plain Pat, Caroline Shaw, Swizz Beatz, and many more. TLOP was recorded in recording studios in various locations and not onto one property as SOME of Kanye’s other album were in the past.
To sum it all up… Kayne used various locations to record the TLOP album.

As for the musical content of the album, Wolves, Only One, and All Day were great choices for singles due to the songwriting and productions skills. No one can write and produce like Kanye West can. Kanye West has a signature production style prevalent on his albums. Kanye blends in Electronic sounds into hip hop music thus somehow turning music into pop. This production style makes his albums go platinum Just listen to his previous albums such as College Dropout, Graduation, Yeezus, Late Orchestration, 808s & Heartbreak, and Lat Registration just to name a few.

Wolves is a great song, but can get redundant and annoying real quick due to the usage of autotune. Autotune is played out. The bridge is heavily auto-tuned. Yet somehow Wolves has that melodic feel. The “Bluesy” chorus is performed by Vic Mensa. Sia lends a hand in songwriting with Vic Mensa and Frank Ocean. Mix the genres of Blues, Hip Hop/Rap, and Pop and the result is the song called Wolves. Yet somehow Wolves feels melodic.

Kanye West catches the fade on the track Fade. Note the fade in and fade out features used. Fade is played out. The autotune is played out. People and fans should know that by now. In fact, Fade is similar to Facts by Kanye West. Fade and Facts have similarities in terms of sound.

I Love Kanye is an interlude about self-awareness and Christianity. Kanye takes it to the gospel on this one. Kanye really showcases off his gospel roots on I Love Kanye.

TLOP is the most discussed Kayne West album of 2016 by music critics, journalists, and fans alike which has made The Life Of Pablo album rise in terms of popularity. TLOP’s scattered nature gave the album positive reviews due to the musical content of the album. Despite that, the overhype by news media and overuse of autotune make TLOP the most unbrehsive shit ever heard.

Andy Wade  - Black & White World album review

Black & White World is Andy Wade’s comeback album for the year of 2016 as he resurfaces onto the music scene once again. Andy Wade’s songwriting skilled have improved since the sophomore album was released back in the year of 2015. His guitar playing skills have improved as well. The live instrumentation on this album is absolutely perfect. The grand piano, Jazz piano, and Gibson guitar were perfect choices of instruments to use on the Black & White World album. Andy Wade finds a great way to showcase his performance on this comeback album of his.

Andy Wade’s comeback album opens up peacefully with a short gentle piano solo. The piano solo plays out perfectly with live instrumentation. Quite similar to the piano used on Adele’s autobiographical love ballads. The piano solo is a great way to perform a return on comeback album to.

Black and White is about “black and white thinking”. There is no grey area or “grey thinking”. It’s one side thinking or nothing at all. (One sided if you want to get technical.) The vocals help blend in the piano backing. Black and White is a funky pop tune that features some excellent quality vocals. The song Black and White is quite similar to Adele.

Prowl is a synth-driven instrumental. Prowl is an instrumental similar to the gentle piano solo on the introduction.

Lil Zane - Tonight I’m Yours single review

Tonight I'm Yours is about Lil Zane strictly focusing on his girlfriend instead of his acting career, music career, family, and, of course, friends. Lil Zane does this by turning off his 2-way cellular phone and taking off time from touring for his music career. Tonight I'm Yours is the hit single of this album despite charting on the BillBoard Charts hitting from #106 to #108. Using Tank as a featured guest artist was a smart move because Tank was already established in the music business when Lil Zane was just getting started in the music business. Tonight I'm Yours is a basically a love song with Tank.

L.I.L.Z.A.N.E. is the Big Zane/Lil Zane anthem of this album right here! Envyi does a great job on this track with singing the background vocals. Lil Zane tells us all about him on this standout track song here! I loved this song when it first came out on the Tonight I'm Yours enhanced CD single. It reminds me of Big Spender from 1963. Lil Zane is still banging out classics to this days. Lil Zane is glued to his original masterplan of his game plan. Other than that, L.I.L.Z.A.N.E. had a positive potential to be a single and have a music video.

The Do It, Don't Stop track will remind you of the beginning introductory track for a Broadway musical stage play when the play is first started to being conducted as the actors are ready to act on stage. The synth horns seem to be made to sound live.
Do It, Don't Stop is celebrating the return of Lil Zane as Zane basically.

Peel Out is all about wildin' out! With Enyvi on the track as the background vocalist, it makes Lil Zane eye candy. Lil Zane is obviously living the fast life in his musical career and his acting career. Only real true ballers really "peel out". Peel Out is very sexually suggestive when it comes to dealing with the song's subject material. A lot of model car references are made.

Come Runnin' is a morning after type of track Come Runnin' is a sex track/love song. I love this track. It had a lot of potential to be a single along many other tracks on this album. Come Runnin' is very similar to Peel Out, Tonight I'm Yours, and Do It, Don't Stop. Envyi is on Come Runnin'.

C-Murder - Trapped In Crime album review

Concrete Jungle deals with insanity of being in an urban community with the crime, drugs, and violence. All of those environmental elements led to the insanity inside urban communities. It’s mostly lower income areas that deal with this drama. Take note of the Marvin Gaye and Grandmaster Flash samples. It’s like a concrete jungle sometimes I wonder how it keeps me from going under.

C-Murder stayed true on Forever TRU by sticking to his New Orleans, Louisiana gumbo roots of bounce music and gangsta rap. C-Murder is staying TRU and being down for his crown.

Trapped In Crime with insanity inside urban communities. The environmental elements that lead to the insanity inside urban communities are crime, sex, pollution, drugs, and violence. Being trapped in a life of crime is a vicious cycle.

BHP - Dirty Cops album review

This album was recorded in 1993. There are six tracks total. BHP is Black Hole Posse from Denver, Colorado.

Dirty Cops album tackles on a lot of topics about the Denver Police Department pertaining to how their dealings with the community along how Denver Police Department’s policing tactics are considerably police brutality. Sight of police brutality was commonplace in Denver.

Dirty Cops album tackles the issues of violence as well. In the 1990s, Denver was known to be a violent city at that time. You can hear the frustration in BHP's lyrics when they rap.

Violence was prevalent in the summer of 1993 in the city of Denver. By that meaning there was a riot during the Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration. The reason for this particular riot because the KKK (Ku Klux Klan) allowed to rally on the same day of the Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration. After that, civil unrest ensued. This riot event led onto the summer season of 1993 to be called “The Summer of Violence”. Along with riots, the city of Denver was experiencing a lot of violence primarily due to gang activity, police brutality on random citizens, and race relations within the community.

You can the black communities frustration in BHP's lyrics. You can hear the frustration in BHP's lyrics about racism and bigotry as BHP's raps about such serious issues. BHP understands about the black communities frustration.

Dirty Cops is a G-Funk classic and a hood classic in the city of Denver. The Dirty Cops has 6 tracks which are pure G-Funk classics! It don't get any better than this! A lot of Colorado Hip Hop and Rap such as BHP, Kut-N-Kru, Mile High Records, Mashek, Jesse James, Julox, and more are very overlooked by the music industry.

B-Black - Take Ya Time B single review

B-Black’s lyrics were more politically conscience then the gangsta rap many Colorado Hip Hop and Rap fans know him for today. B-Black was more of a political revolutionary then his contemporary peers in the Colorado Hip Hop and Rap music scene at the time. He was on the revolutionary tip. Similar to BDP, KRS-One, Chuck D, Kaos & Mystro, and Public Enemy among others. The lyrical content was more revolutionary instead of the gangsta rap trend of the early 90s. B-Black tackles serious issues such as racism and bigotry along with police brutality.

Take Ya Time B is where B-Black takes his time to vent out about the social issues that frustrate the black community and minor communities in general. B-Black tackles serious issues such as racism, bigotry, police brutality, political corruption, and gerrymandering. B-Black was on the revolutionary tip during the time this single was recorded. The 1990s were trying times.

True Black Man tackles social issues about being a black man in America. Serious issues such as racism, bigotry, and police brutality are discussed in True Black Man. However, True Black Man mainly deals with the issues of racism and bigotry against black people.

Many consider B-Black to be a renounced artist due to his longevity in the Denver Hip Hop and Rap scene thus gaining a stellar fanbase. B-Black has been an artist since the year of 1990. B-Black has revolutionary sense.
