Lil Eddie - Nobody’s Fool EP EP review

Nobody’s Fool was released as a promo vinyl in 2003 by Big3 Records from Florida for his debut album that would later follow-up that year.

I Don't Think I Ever is about Lil Eddie thinking that he will never fall in love. On the song I Don't Think I Ever, Lil Eddie discovers the true meaning of love. This song is Lil Eddie’s haunting declaration of love. Bad Boy recording artist Mario Winans even chimes in on a single verse. I Don't Think I Ever is truly heartfelt and timid. Think “I don’t think I will ever fall in love.” for example. That’s the sentence that probably inspired Lil Eddie to write the song I Don't Think I Ever.

Lil Eddie is not nobody's fool on Nobody’s Fool. Nobody’s Fool is the most powerful track off the album! Nobody's Fool tells us all what we need to know about the determination Eddie has had to have to make it this far in his career and in his life. The streets toughen folks to either stay and survive, or to elevate and strive. Lil Eddie displays confident lyrics in his songs. Lil Eddie states "That song explains why doing this first album was totally necessary for me.” "I have a lot to say."

Lil Eddie is all over the place with his vocals on the track Nervous. However his smooth soulful voice remains in a rather timid mood. Take notice of the live percussion instrumentation in the background. Lil Eddie is living it up in the moment on this particular song. The track is very much living in the here and now. Lil Eddie knows what’s best when it comes to his songwriting.

Live It Up is about living up the moment. Think about living in the here and now. Live It Up is about living it up into the moment.

Lil Eddie - Nobody’s Fool album review

Nobody's Fool introduces a young Puerto Rican (Latin soul sensation) Edwin Serrano better known as ”Lil Eddie" with both a gift of talent and passion for being a singer/songwriter. Lil Eddie's accomplishments are inspirational. His debut album is where his songwriting skills truly thrive. Mario Winans lent a helping hand in the albums production for Lil Eddie to become a “Latin soul superstar”. In fact, he produced the entire album. Lil Eddie had co-wrote all of the material on his debut album Nobody's Fool. Lil Eddie was the first artist signed to super producer and Bad Boy recording artist Mario "Yellow Man" Winans' Yellow City imprint via Florida-based Big3 Records.

Meeting this person has changed Eddie’s life and his days are much more brighter with this special person now in his life. The joy she brings is like no other. This person brings on joy like no other. His feelings are true as he has never been in love before.

Lil Eddie is not nobody's fool on Nobody’s Fool. Nobody’s Fool is the most powerful track off the album! Nobody's Fool tells us all what we need to know about the determination Eddie has had to have to make it this far in his career and in his life. Lil Eddie displays confident lyrics in his songs. Lil Eddie states "That song explains why doing this first album was totally necessary for me.” "I have a lot to say." He is not anybody’s fool.

Save A Little Love is a love song. Lil Eddie is not surprised his girlfriend wants to leave the relationship because her heart feels empty. Lil Eddie can’t commit to her right now but one day she’s going to be his. He don’t want to see her cry. Lil Eddie apparently is not the man for her. Don’t think he’s being selfish. The conversations are running stale.

Gotta Go is dreamy and melodic. Gotta Go is so wild, so melodic. It's clear that Lil Eddie has been studying the radio well. The track is very much living in the here and now. Gotta live it up! Lil Eddie knows what’s best when it comes to his songwriting.

Lil Eddie - Lil Eddie EP EP review

The Lil Eddie EP was released on vinyl in 2003 by Big3 Records from Florida for his debut album that would later follow-up that year.

Cameo does not do the EP much justice since it’s not your average Lil Eddie song. It’s somehow not about love which Lil Eddie fans don’t understand. Cameo is kinda odd and quirky to say the least. On average, it’s not the best. Fairly typical.

Save A Little Love is a love song. Lil Eddie is not surprised his girlfriend wants to leave the relationship because her heart feels empty. Lil Eddie - City Of My Heart

City Of My Heart was released on Manhattan Recordings (Manhattan Records)/EMI in Japan and US in 2009 on CD. City Of My Heart is filled with tales of heartbreak and sorrow. In fact, the entire half of the album is filled with love songs of course. The other half of the album is filled with a slice of life genre. The album City Of My Heart sold a total of 300,000 which was considered phenomenal sales!

Lil Eddie combats the problems of traffic congestion and transportation at the very beginning of City Of My Heart. Eddie wants wings in automobiles that way if anyone is stuck in traffic congestion during rush hour that can rush through the sky.
The line “Can you imagine living in a place where the wings in the cars go up, up, up And if you're ever stuck in traffic, fly past, sit in the rush, rush Straight through the red light. (ooh)” sums up Eddies’s views on traffic congestion and transportation very well.

The city of which Eddie is residing is the place that takes place inside of him is exactly what he considers to be the “city of my heart”. He takes us on a tour to a place called the city in my heart. Lay back like as if we're chillin' on the beach because Eddie will be the tour guide for this tour/journey. He will do all the driving.

After the very beginning of City Of My Heart, the rest of the song turns into a love song which ironically it always was even at the very beginning. Of course this is expected because this is Lil Eddie we’re talking about.

Start Over Again deals with the ups and downs in life. Lil Eddie tells us that no matter what stage you are in life, whether you’re young or old, it’s never too late to start all over again. You can always start over again. You know you limits and when you are torn apart. Lil Eddie also tells us that sometimes we need to start over again in life due to the ups and downs that take an emotionally effective toll on us as humans. Life has flaws and is filled with pain.

What's living without loss? What's life without loss? What's giving without a cause? Everything has a price, so now it's time to pay. What's life without the flaws? What's life without the pain? Life has flaws and is filled with such pain as stated. You can always start over again.

Hollyhood describes the success of how Lil Eddie made it out the neighborhood. Hollyhood also describes the success of Lil Eddie in his songwriter career along with the fall and rise of his career. Eddie gets very sentimental and autobiographical on Hollywood.

He particularly describes how it would be miracle if he were to ever reach to ever see his 21st year in his lifetime. But Lil Eddie made it out the neighborhood from a life of poverty. The verses “Cause it'd be a miracle if I ever reach to ever see my 21st year But look at your boy I made it out the sewer Thanks to Grandma I'm a entrepreneur So many people said I couldn't do it” sums up how Lil Eddie proved everyone wrong of how he would become a failure at life.

Lil Eddie went from homeless singer-songwriter to melody maker of the world's premie. Lil Eddie describes bluntly how he dealt living in a life of poverty on this line “You gotta make the best of what you got”. When you come from a successful background, the only way to go is up. Lil Eddie is now a Japan Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter!

Lil Eddie and Mya are a perfect combination duo for the Searching For Love track. The combination of these two voices works very well. Both Eddie and Mya are searching for the true definition of love. When it comes to love, the duo is  quite curious leading them on a quest through singing and soul on this journey. Every story has more than two sides to it when love is involved. By the end of this love ballad, the duo finally find out what love is.

Lost Footage takes us though a personal journey of a moment from the past from one of Eddie’s memories. It was a memory of a past relationship. Every story has more than two sides to it. They say nothing lasts forever. But there's still lost footage to the memory. No one has ever seen the lost footage.

Lil Eddie and Mya are a perfect combination duo for the Searching For Love track. The combination of these two voices works very well. Both Eddie and Mya are searching for the true definition of love. When it comes to love, the duo is  quite curious leading them on a quest through singing and soul on this journey. All I See was a song that Lil Eddie helped produce for Kylie Minogue for her X album. This version of All I See on Lil Eddie's City Of My Heart album is his own cover of the same song. That’s why you can hear that particular flair of pop music in this song. Think pop flair.

Lil Eddie - Already Yours

Already Yours was released on CD in 2011 by Lexington/Manhattan Recordings (Manhattan Records) in Japan. 90% of the album Already Yours is material of love songs. Already Yours picks up where City Of My Heart left off. The singles Already Yours and Bring Me Back To Life hit #1 on the iTunes Charts in Japan. Lil Eddie continues to further himself evolution evolution as a singer-songwriter.

Perfect for Mother's Day is the song Momma. Momma expresses gratitude for the mothers out there. The single Momma proved to be of big success for singer-songwriter Lil Eddie as Momma charted #1 on the iTunes Charts in Japan and US. Momma is a blend and mixture of R&B/Soul.

Already Yours picks up where City Of My Heart left off. Eddie is not like those other guys as he puts it truthfully. You don’t have to read his mind because he is already yours. No one has to read his mind. He knows how you feel baby. Eddie’s actions speak louder than words. Already Yours is a single as well.

Lil Eddie experiments with blending in playful futuristic sounding synth notes from an electronic keyboard making it a mixture of Techno and Electronic music for the love song Outta This World. The sounds of Outta This World sound very futuristic sounding for its time. All in all, the production quality is very smooth sounding. Lil Eddie knows what he’s doing when it comes to his own music. That’s why experiments with electronic music every now and then.

Change The World is a cover of "Change The World" of Eric Clapton which Lil Eddie fully demonstrated perfectly well. In a way of pop sense.

This album is yet another under appreciated Lil Eddie album that did not get noticed by mainstream media. Already Yours picks up where City Of My Heart left off in terms of music. Both albums have similar love songs in relative terms of similarities relatively speaking. 90% of the album Already Yours is material filled with love songs.

Lil Ai - My Name is Ai album review

[Lil Ai is a female pop singer from the Ryukyu Islands in Japan. Lil Ai (リルアイ) is Ai Kawamitsu (アイ川満愛) [Kawamitsu Ai (川満愛)].]
My Name is Lil Ai was released on Def Jam Japan in 2001. She was on her way to becoming an accomplished dancer and singer in the underground music scene in the country of Japan at the time of this record. This record sold 2,100 copies in the first week of release.

Born To Sing is the introductory song her very first debut album from 2001. Most of the song is very self-explanatory. Born To Sing explains how Lil Ai was born to sing. She explains she was born to sing. That is what she does and who she is. Some people don’t understand, but Lil Ai doesn’t care. She won’t stop singing.

The line "I was born to sing That's what I am" is pretty self-explanatory as Lil Ai puts it. That is what she does and who she is. She wants to make her dreams come true.

Inori explains how Lil Ai was born to sing. She explains she was born to sing. That is what she does and who she is. Some people don’t understand, but Lil Ai doesn’t care. She won’t stop singing. Ai asks the Lord up above for spiritual advice. She wants to make her dreams come true. Next we find Lil Ai wide awake at 4 AM in her bed. Ai wants to sleep, but she can’t. She asks and pleads the Lord up above for advice again. Over and over as the song comes to a closing point.

The line “They don't know what I've been through Yeah!! I don't care” sums up Lil Ai’s viewpoint of what other people in society think of as she does not care. She won’t stop singing. Lil Ai vented her frustration of society on this song by singing in harmony.

Lil Ai’s singing technique is a unique style of blending the Japanese language into the English language. She firsts sings in Japanese and she sings in English. Lil Ai transitions from using the Japanese language by transitioning to use the English language next and then back to using her native Japanese language again as usual. Her technique of singing is somewhat unique. Her charm in her singing makes people happy while certainly not too hardcore, her charm lies in the music. There is a youthful presence in her voice when it comes to singing. Her voice is super cute.

On the track My Name is Ai, Lil Ai is looking for someone to be down with her tonight. Will she find someone to be down with her tonight? Is she going to find someone to be down with her tonight? That someone to love. That someone to hang on to. All the girls say she will be forever along. All the boys tell her to ignore the haters. Her name is Lil Ai.

My Name is Ai is obviously orchestrated by Lil Ai to be a love song as that was probably her main intent. She really wants someone to be down with her tonight. My Name is Ai is not that self-explanatory as some would have you think so otherwise.

Shining Star is a Dance meets R&B track. Although Shining Star is an R&B track. Shining Star is a track that will make you want to dance all night long. Shining Star is almost very similar to slow jam quiet storm R&B and quite soothing at that.

Memory (Memorii) is a song that is sung in the Japanese language by a long shot. Although Lil Ai added bits of English words here and there in the song Memory. The song repeats itself at the end making the composition somewhat a repetitive song.

Lil Ai’s rapping and technique is a unique style of blending the Japanese language into the English language. Lil Ai transitions from using the Japanese language by transitioning to use the English language next and then back to using her native Japanese language again as usual. Her rapping is somewhat subpar though. Her rap is not the best. Her technique of rapping is somewhat versatile and yet hard to understand since she is rapping in Japanese making it difficult for English fans to understand. But you either like or don't like Lil Ai. That's the way it is and that's how she wants it. But you either like or don't like Lil Ai. That's from the fans point of view. That's the way it is and that's how she wants it. There's a melody to the tracks even if the beats are not catchy and horrible.

Le$ - Techno Violet album review

According to Le$ fans reactions online on the internet, the album appears to be well favorable. Le$ fans online on websites such as TexasTakeOver, Siccness Net, AllHipHop, and HotNewHipHop favor the Techno Violet album by Le$. The reactions from fans seem to be tolerable as they favor this album better than the last effort. Nobody really detests the album.

Le$ has an appreciation and “focused on” fixation of rare automobiles. He makes music to his own soundtrack as he drives through the city. Techno Violet is dedicated to the high-octane BMW E36 model from the late '90s. Techno Violet is rather more suspenseful than Le$' past efforts as Le$ has tapped into experimenting with the noir thriller genre. The ambiance is accompanied by synth heavy notes and tunes.

However, the album is only five tracks, Techno Violet has the runtime of a feature film of course. Each track, of course, is delivered in a different "gear”. These gears are quite similar to These here tracks last over 10 minutes which can be considered inconsistent to some.

Other than that, this shit goes hard in the paint. The production sound is smooth. Techno Violet offers a totally different cinematic experience than all of his other projects combined. Le$ is always slept on.
