Baby Bash - Suga Suga single review

Suga Suga was a song by Baby Bash that was getting radioplay on airwaves across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil back in 2003. Especially in Austin since KAZI 88.7 and 140.3 FM! Suga Suga got heavy radioplay here in Austin all over the radio stations. It was such a great song that everyone who was in their rides was playing Suga Suga by Baby Bash at the stoplights here in Austin, Texas. Suga Suga is what skyrocketed Frankie J to fame in his musical career. Since he sung the hook and bridge. It was such a great song.

As it is in this particular song, this woman could either be an actual female or she could be a metaphor for the drugs he is taking (probably coke or weed). Either way they both get him feeling great. So great that to the extent he is so high and baked. She's sweet like honey buns because she has a nice ass. She doesn’t care about his money and just ditch him like a hoe would. This woman will be there whether Baby Bash is rich & famous or not.
You can't say anything to a player. The whole song is talking about weed.

Early In Da Morning is about the morning routine of Baby Bash of what he does during the morning time. Early In Da Morning he gets breakfast first thing as a part of his early morning routine on a daily basis. Early In Da Morning is mainly about his morning routine.

Feelin' Me and Early In Da Morning are both sex songs that you will truly enjoy. These songs are some timeless classics.

Yo Gotti - Concealed album review

Yo Gotti is out with yet another blazing spectacular album! Yo Gotti came as cleaver as he did on his Doctor Cleaver album. You know that Yo Gotti has a story to tell because his lyrical delivery is out of this world! His lyrical wordplay is very clever he raps on this album. Yo Gotti indeed is very clever with his lyrical wordplay. With that said, Yo Gotti is keeping Memphis, Tennessee alive with that trap muzik This album in a few more years could be considered as a classic album. Concealed has potential for that. The whole album is hard as fuck. DJ Drama is all over Concealed just to let you know.
Guest artists appearances include Kevin Gates, Rich Homie Quan, Boosie Badazz, Lil Bibby, and more!

Diana Krall - When I Look in Your Eyes album review

Several orchestra tracks highlight Diana Krall’s breathtaking vocals on the follow-up album to Love Scenes. Take notice of her acclaimed piano styles. When I Look in Your Eyes has an acclaimed special feeling when you listen to this album. Why Should I Care is the highlight track that is on Clint Eastwood film “True Crime”. This work is absolutely stunning! The orchestra was arranged by notable producer Johnny Mandel which he also conducted as well. Larry Bunker performs the vibes.

Why Should I Care is the highlight track that is on the Clint Eastwood feature film “True Crime”. Why Should I Care is aimless at flaw. This work is absolutely stunning!

Led Zeppelin - In Through The Out Door album review

This is on of those album you do a workout to! This album is great album just as ZoSo was. Think about Rock! Think about Houses Of The Holy. There are 8 tracks on this album. Think about lifting weights, doing pull-ups, doing push-ups, and power lifts as you listen to this tape. It's a great thing to lift weights when you have a buddy present with you! Otherwise an accident might occur and no one would be able to assist you! This is great workout music! Rock music is better to work out than dance music.

Grand Funk Railroad - Closer To Home album review

As you know, Grand Funk Railroad is from Flint, Michigan. Grand Funk Railroad started out with 3 people originally in 1957. Then they recorded this album in 1967. This album started with Terry Knight and 2 other people. 3 faces are on the front cover. There are 8 tracks on this album. Of course this was when Grand Funk Railroad was just getting started on Capitol Records. They sure broke out in a lot of concerts. They had a lot of fans. (Probably 11 million to 15 million.) Grand Funk Railroad kept their garage rock roots and Blues styles even after firing Terry Knight because of contractual differences.

It just seems odd that a band with so much exposure didn't get enough hype by everyone as The Who or AC/DC did. The 10 minute song should have been cut into 2 or 3 songs so the album could have been made to look longer, yet retain the original format for the albums original planning. This album needed some more Country, Funk, and Blues sound. Listen to this after midnight. You can see why.

Kitaro - The Light of The Spirit album review

This album looks like it was done in 1978 rather than 1987. This is basically Electronic music.
Sundance is a song that should have been a single. You can hear the rock sound in Sundance. The flutes along with the other instrumentation were great! The foreboding violin sound in the background really added to the mood.
In the Beginning sounds a bit medieval. The foreboding violin sound in the background really added to the mood on the song In The Beginning. The flutes were great on the song In the Beginning.

Jeff Beck - Loud Hailer album review

Jeff Beck resurfaces again with a comeback album for the music industry! He captures his audiences attention with his singing in his songs. His lyrics make powerful statements on this album. His anti-corporate lyrics protest against big business when it comes to love of power. Jeff Beck went on the preachy political tip for this album. Loud Hailer is another guitar heavy ridden album by Jeff Beck of course.

A Day in the House from Guitar Shop is an environmental anthem about environmental politics. A Day in the House from Guitar Shop is an anthem that can be enjoyed regardless of ones political beliefs about environmental politics. Environmental protection, pollution, and groups are discussed. Environmental politics play an important aspect in our life on Earth which many people forget and take for granted. That's why Jeff Beck sheds light on environmental politics for this song.

Scared For The Children is about how Jeff Beck is scared about the future of our youth. The world has become such a terrible place to the point that it won't be the same for our children. It's quite worrisome.

Either you get Jeff Beck or you don't. There is no in between. That's why this album received such low ratings from fans is because Jeff Beck went in a different direction instead doing another instrumental album. So fans did not particularly like this album or the concept basis of his lyrics in songwriting.

Ruff-N-Rugged - Swing Sumpn Ruff single review

Swing Sumpn Ruff was an underground hit in the mid 90s, well 1994 to be exact, and was way overlooked by mainstream media such as BillBoard despite having a music video made for Swing Sumpn Ruff played in heavy rotation on The BOX channel. Those who are 80s and 90s babies should know what I'm talking about! The jazz sample is off the hook. So is the heavy note pounding bassline. The samples are fine too. Ruff-N-Rugged was way overlooked in their time.

Ol Skool Beat is hip hop cuts over old school beats. The track Old Skool Beat was so dope in many different way! DJ Clay and Smoove T-Roc go lyrical. Ol Skool Beat is a sample crazy song let me put it that way.

Lil Fatal - I Don't Wanna Dance single review

This single is more party rap mixed with gangsta rap and Dance/Electronic. The sounds described are very crunk, dance, upbeat and triv. Anyway, this single was released on Wrongkind, DIP Records, and Low Bottom Records in 1998. When Lil Fatal wrote I Don't Wanna Dance, he was inspired by the dance music genre.

The Intro Beat is a short 2 and a half to 3 minute instrumental track that can be described as bonkers. The beats were absolutely nuts and described as totally bonkers! The Intro Beat was obviously inspired by the dance music genre at the time.

I Don't Wanna Dance has that futuristic triv 00s WrongKind sound meaning that this track sounds rather futuristic as if it were made in 2006 rather than 1998. Tha WrongKind was always lightyears ahead when it came to making music and production. I Don't Wanna Dance is about why Lil Fatal would rather have sexual intercourse than to dance. He doesn’t want to dance. He wants to have sex. It's also about The Set having sex with some hot ass groupies. Think about partying all night long along with sex too.

Green Light is a track that is at least 130 bpm with arrhythmic fast flows. Green Light is about the OG gang leader giving the 'green light' to kill anyone who gets in their way and sell narcotics along with other drugs. The green light gives a member in any gangs to fight someone, kill a certain person the gang deems as a threat to their activities, or to perform a certain task. (If you watched the Gangland episode on LPB and Skyline, then you would know what I'm talking about.)

Dr. Zog - Swampadelic album review

Swampadelic is swamp rock music meets the psychedelic rock sound incorporated with that swamp boogie sound. Swamp rock meets the psychedelic sub genre on this album. The Swampadelic album has that Austin psychobilly rock sound mixed with swamp rock and psychedelic music. This album is very unique because it doesn't have that traditional rock sound or that boogie pop sound that is somewhat prevalent in swamp rock and swamp boogie. Blues Streets is a tributes to the Blues genre. Blues Streets is very similar to an old Blues song in metaphysics. Boogie Tonight is a swamp rock and swamp boogie melody. Coal Train tells about the adventurous journey of a coal train traveling through the US State of Arkansas. Sleepy Banks tells us about timid sleepy life on the bayou.

The Green Eyes - Something To Bop To single review

Something To Bop To and The Struggle Is On are both dance music/rap tracks. They are what is considered and called neighborhood music in San Diego, California. Neighborhood music never gets old. It's timeless. If you are a hip hop head, then you will enjoy this cassette single. You see, The Green Eyes is an OG in the San Diego Rap scene along with DJ Candyman & Superslim, Big June, Black Mikey, Soulful Ernie, Cricet, DJ GIL, Bulldog, DJ Len C, LOD, and Silhouette. The Green Eyes has had a couple of cassettes out since the 80s and 90s.

Something To Bop To is a funky rap melody track. The track itself is obviously a dance track. The track Something To Bop To is for those car hoppers in their low riders. Something To Bop To is a timeless well known Southeast San Diego rap classic in its own rightful way.

Mix funk, rap, hip hop, soul, R&B, dance, Blues, Jazz, and lounge music and have the result of the track Something To Bop To. Something To Bop To is a funky rap melody track. The track itself is obviously a dance track. The Green Eyes was inspired by the genres of hip hop/rap, R&B/soul, and dance when he composed this track. That’s clearly why dance and rap are the most prevalent genres on this particular track.

Samples used on the track The Struggle Is On by The Green Eyes are George Clinton - Atomic Dog and Zapp - More Bounce To The Ounce. A Jimi Hendrix sample is used laced on the hook.

Here we are on a Friday night with The Green Eyes. So now he swoops to his set to gain financial compensation (get some cash), talk shit, and kick some ass. His homeboy Burger suddenly pulls up in his great Cadillac. He had a fly ass bitch with him. Cult following comes with the package. It come with the territory when you’re rich as The Green Eyes puts it. 30 seconds into the track and The Green Eyes describes his past criminal lifestyle. The ghetto is a trip on how things are changing especially when it comes to gangbanging. As fast as you come up is as fast you’re falling down. San Diego is a city where a street soldier must stay strong because where The Green Eyes is from, the struggle is on. (Southeast San Diego, California is what The Green Eyes describes as the Southeast Planet.)

On the hook, The Green Eyes gets into the concepts of his raps. The concepts of his raps are gangsta rap and old school rap. “If you’re going to be a soldier in these streets, stay down for yours. If not, then get out of the game.” These are The Green Eyes suggestions.

When crack began an epidemic drug problem that swept the nation of the United States, a lot of drug dealers came up. As fast as you come up is as fast you’re falling down. As fast as you rise up to powered influence in the drug ring, you fall down and face a decline in drug sales. Burglary and auto theft is common in the ghetto. The Green Eyes is so immaculate as he is from the old school.

Vic Duncan - I'll Get It Done album review

This vinyl was released on Double D Productions from Dallas, Texas in 1986. Vic Duncan plays his signature country folksy guitar that is shown on the front album cover throughout the entirety of this album. Vic Duncan is responsible for the acoustics mostly on this album as this is his solo album. Each and every song he performs on proves to be a classic. However, does not take performance credits alone. He has help from the musicians in his Vic Duncan Band. Musicians such as Red Young, Ed Wise, Sam Swank, Gene Glover, Larry White, Steve Territo, and Dan Grogan lend a helping hand for a portion of instrumentation on this album. Vic Duncan produced the entire album.

Hold On is an inspirational song inspiring us to hold onto our dreams and let love be what you believe in. Love is the main theme for the song Hold On. It's easy to understand that by listening to the lyrics.

Through and Through describes the life cycle of human life from birth to death. Awaiting a creation means birth of a new human life is being formed. Expectations of final destination is describing the dying stage of a human life. Final destination is the death of a human life. Slice of life is the best terminology to describe Through and Through. Love is also a theme for the song Through and Through as described on the bridge. Loving someone is easy to do when you are with theme.

Daydreamin' is an acoustic guitar instrumental played on a classic guitar none other than Vic Duncan as Daydreamin' is a Vic Duncan solo. So if you are a fan of instrumental guitar music, then this song is perfect for you!

Texas Morning is the hit single off the I'll Get It Done album. Vic Duncan uses lovely vivid imagery to describe the scenery of a Texas morning. A thousand shades of green and yellow stretch towards a bright horizon where the blue sky fades to white only disappears. Soft fluffy clouds drift across the Texas plains. It's just a perfect way to describe in imagery a sunny Texas Morning. This Texas morning is during the peaceful summer time of course.

The Green Eyes breaks downs and describes his rapping techniques on Savor The Flavor. How many can really flow? The Green Eyes also raps about he does not receive any radioplay on the airwaves. This obviously upsets The Green Eyes. Rap is an art as The Green Eyes describes the rap music genre in his own words. Rap to him is considered art. The Green Eyes is known for his passion in rap. However The Green Eyes is not a battle rapper. You have to have lyrics as the trick of rap is located in the music.

He was the ruler of the San Diego Hip Hop/Rap scene at one time from the 1980s to the 1990s. KING DAV$D - War in Heaven album review

For those who don’t know, KING DAV$D was once known as The Green Eyes. The same The Green Eyes who dropped Planet of The Southeast and Something To Bop To in the 1980s and 1990s. The Green Eyes is a well reputed and respected OG from Southeast San Diego, California. KING DAV$D has witnessed first hand the horrors of the gang lifestyle from being shot to serving a stint in prison. He has witnessed driveby’s, genocide, homicide, and drugs. The former Lincoln Park Blood gang member is now on a mission to bring peace to the inner cities of United States of America.
After serving a stint in prison for living that life, he found Jesus Christ. The Green Eyes (KING DAV$D) has been working with Rebel Genius in a leadership position as he has been holding weekly bible studies for the Rebel Genius team. He is now signed to Rebel Genius Records. The Green Eyes has returned as KING DAV$D!

The Green Eyes (KING DAV$D) is known for his uncut authenticity and his passion for people. War in Heaven is a breath of fresh air to the Christian Rap community for 2016. This album is from a renewed perspective of KING DAV$D as he has found his calling. War In Heaven is an album designed to uplift, challenge, inspire, praise, and encourage the listener.

KING DAV$D touches perspective on spiritual warfare with his first single “War & Heaven”. Spiritual warfare is a real topic that is rarely talked about. That’s why KING DAV$D calls to attention the listeners. War & Heaven brings discernment to the reality concerning the biblical spiritual civil war fought between angels and demons and his majestic majesty King Jesus Christ Vs. Satan. This war spills into this world. Where the prize on both sides is the human soul.

Youth Soldier is about lifestyles that are prevalent in gangs. This is where pastors get it wrong when they say gangs don’t love you … there is a love in Satan’s kingdom. There’s even an order. This militant order is what attracted him to become a first generation Lincoln Park Blood member.

Action Bronson - Mr. Wonderful album review

Mr. Wonderful is the major label debut from Action Bronson on Atlantic Records and Vice for 2015. 2015 proved to be a truly brehsive year for Action Bronson and this album. It was highly talked about by music critics and in the news for that fiscal year. Fans who purchased this album were well receptive to the track thus increasing his fan base underground and in the mainstream.

Brand New Car is where Action Bronson raps about his shiny brand new car. A typical rap track from 2000s rap. Rapping about cars is nothing new as it has been done before as Gucci Mane has rapped about this subject for example. Actin Crazy is a single off the album that proves to be a hit! Action Bronson has always been hilarious! Especially from the viewpoints in his legion of fans. City Boy Blues is where Action Bronson pays tribute and homage to the Blues genre. Blues are played over a Jazz bar instrumental however instead of the track being pure Blues instead.

The Mr. Wonderful album is a brehsive album! So be a breh and buy this Action Bronson album in stores or online! You won't regret buying this album! Action Bronson has always been hilarious.

Twinspan - Anthems of Your Scene Phase album review

240 HD is the best track on the album! 240 HD is everything that metal and punk rock should be. Not that punk pop bullshit you hear on the radio. Heavy thrashing percussion, loud distorted screaming voices with the occasional singing of course, killer overdub, and the fast paced tempo are what make this track so perfect. The singing came with compassion from the soul and heart.

Most of 240 HD is filled with soulful singing in certain parts of the song however. Making 240 HD stand out on the album. That's how this song is different from any of the other songs on the album.

Tear This Wall Down is an anger and angst driven ballad. So much anger is focused on those lies from someone who obviously lies to people. We can see the lies through your eyes. Twinspan wants to tear down the emotional wall that suppresses us all as humans. Twinspan has had enough as Twinspan has so much anger focused on this emotional wall that puts a lot of stress on us. There has to be a different alternative with dealing with such emotional pain instead of yelling, screaming, and violence. So the only way to tear down this fucking wall is to scream about it in song. That's the only way to tear down this emotional wall.

The leader of the oppressed people does not want to tear down this wall. Twinspan directs their anger toward the leader and leaders for them spouting such lies to the masses of people. Twinspan won't stop rising up against the leaders in leadership until they get their point across and when the leadership finally understands the demands from the people for their leadership to stop lying. Twinspan represents the oppressed people who are tired of their leaders in power of leader not listening to their demands by demanding more civil rights. "For year we lived aloof" is the verse that describes how the people were oblivious to the lies from their own political leaders in political leadership.

Twinspan rises up against the machine in terms of political leadership hoping that the leadership will understand the demands from the people on the track Tear Down This Wall. Obviously Twinspan wants to tear down the emotional and political walls that oppresses the people who are citizens who are tired of their leaders in power of leader not listening to their demands by demanding more civil rights.

Myself Benevolent is showcases such true promise for their metal style when it comes to rock music. Myself Benevolent is a metal heads anthem. Take notice of the heavy hardcore metal sound of this anthem here. The instrumentation is truly perfect.

Captain Hindsight is a upbeat heavy metal song that is what metal truly represents for metal heads. The song Captain Hindsight is a song that every metal head out there should listen to.

Anthems of Your Scene Phase is an album that all metal heads and punk rockers alike must hear and buy for today's musical and political climate that is against the mainstream music market! This album is a breath of fresh air for metal heads that are tired of hearing that pop shit in the radio.

Metal fans and music news website Sputnikmusic all thought the Anthems of Your Scene Phase album was horrible. Sputnikmusic gave the album Anthems of Your Scene Phase 1/5* (1 out of 5 stars). One can see why metal fans would consider this album to be horrible. The instrumentals sound muffles and the vocals are too quiet. You can hardly hear the vocals on some of the tracks. That doesn't mean the album is  terrible.
