Los Lobos - Kiko album review

Arizona Skys is dedicated to the environmental landscape of Arizona State. It's nothing but sunshine and clouds filling in the Arizona Sky. Stars pass by in the nighttime sky. Los Lobos makes this song short and sweet by not adding too many lyrics. Short Side of Nothing is where hopes and dreams lie in vain. All your hopes lie in vain. You are on the short side of nothing. Whiskey Trail is a sad tale about an alcoholic parent. Rio De Tenampa is a Spanish song. All of the whole song is sung in Spanish.

Lil Uno - The Streets album review

The Streets album was released on Crhymes Sicko Records in 2005 on CD with distribution from Fontana. Cali Sicko is a wicked Dago G-Funk track produced by Shysti and VMF. Shysti recorded most of this track himself. Lil Uno uses a sick style of rapping. On Contagious, his flow and style are so contagious. He is so contagious you will love him enough to purchase his albums. My Dogs is a track dedicated to the eses living on the block. The Streets uses an doo wop oldies sample from The Four Tops - Still Water [Love].

Neil Young - Freedom album review

Theme and message of this album is freedom henceforth the title. This album is more politically conscious than all his other albums. The pop sound however is still prevalent as he is a well known songwriter in the pop genre. He addresses the wrongs with society and problems pop that plague the system. He tackles controversial topics such as freedom and abortion. Half of the album is filled with love songs about romance and the other half is about consciousness in politics. Singer-songwriter Neil Young is still relevant today as he was back then.

Patriotic American colors of the United States flag color the streets red, white, and blue on the song Rockin' In The Free World. People of all backgrounds live their lives in America. We have everything this country needs. From department storess to styrofoam boxes for the ozone layer. However a warning sign on the road ahead foreshadows a tragedy.

A girl with her baby in her hands at night creeping through the alleyway. She put the child away in a garbage can. She hates what she has done to her own child. In other word, an abortion from an unwanted pregnancy had just occurred. This child will never go to school to get an education, fall in love with anyone, have long lasting relationships, or be cool. This happens everyday. Rockin' In The Free World mainly deals with abortion.

Crime in the City dealt with the aspects of criminal activity in an urban setting. Criminal activity such as burglary, theft, homicide, and breach of contract occur. Burglary and theft are the main courses of criminal activity on this track. Theft being the main occurrence of course.

We are taken into a bank heist scene that occurred last night. A robber and his wife who happens to be a thief were involved in a bank heist. They couldn't get any relief from working a real job. So they resort to theft and burglary. Now their bungalow is surrounded by police. The local news media reporters came with their camera crew having their tv camera on them to record the news live on television.

Another attempt of theft and burglary take place across town. The police officer contemplates and wonders whether or not he can stop the crime for happening. The police officer states he takes his orders from fools. The fools he is referring to are those in political power who make the laws. A burglar points a weapon the officer's patrol car as a target blowing his head off in the process making this a scene of a bloody homicide. A homicide had just occurred.

Next we are taken to the scene of a drug deal. So here we are in an alleyway. A 10 year old child is paying an adult a wad of cash. The sum being a huge amount of money. The 10 year old looks up to those adults. There still crime in the city, but it's good to be free.

Someday is about the Alaska Pipeline explosion of 1977 and sin. An explosion had occurred on the date of July 8, 1977 at Pump Station No. 8. The explosion killed workers and destroyed the pump station. A US House of Representatives Committee later announced the cause was workers not following the proper procedures, causing crude oil to flow into a pump under repair at the time. It was due to human error and maintenance failures that the explosion.

Neil Young holds those oil barrens, politicians, lawyers, judges, and attorneys responsible for the failure of the Alaska Pipeline. Neil Young does his best at singing and songwriting in this song while holding those responsible at the same time. Many were lost in the pipe as Neil Young puts it. It's a sin. Neil Young says we all have to sin someday. It's a sin for such irresponsibility such as this to occur.

The Ways of Love is about finding love in romance. The ways of love are complicated for many to understand or comprehend. Neil Young wrote this song from the bottom of his heart. It's a Neil Young love song. Love will make your heart come undone. You will be having too much fun with the one you love. Moments of tears and laughter will be shared. Then you'll never be apart. They are the special one for you. Oh the ways of love are tough.

Zebra - 3.V. album review

You'll Never Know is about life's growing pains and sanity. By growing older, you end up becoming more tired. Now life has taken its toll on you. And now sanity is getting harder to hold on to. You wonder how you yourself can make it alone as the world is a crazy place. Your Mind's Open is about being open minded and having an open mind. You can take your mind anywhere anyplace. You can take yourself anywhere. The rest is up to you. You can do it. They say the old saying goes our mind is breaking your heart.

adieux - grin album review

Grin is a underground progressive rock album from 2014 that came out on Swan City Records. Only 50 copies of the album were pressed onto cassette format. The bonus tracks are demos from Bedroom Sessions. These bedroom sessions are where the adieux band recorded songs for a demo/demos in their bedroom. Follow Me Home is a demo song from their Bedroom Sessions as listed in the liner notes. Caesura is another demo song that is a bonus track as well! Grin and Clutching Chords have that demo production sound. The songs Grin and Clutching Chords could have possibly been demos.

Variety of Sinz - Lost Files album review

It's return of the legends on the Lost Files album from 2013. Lost Files is a greatest hits album with many of the hit tracks such as Kaboom, Live & Direct, Hellavish, Double Up, and much more! Special appearances include Bulletproof from Skanbino Mob, Bootleg from The Dayton Family, Esham, 40 Fiend, King Hood Cykoz, Project Born, and many more! Spoken word meets rap music.

A Girl Named Nikki is about this trick named Nikki who was a prostitute gave away her body to various men in the city of Flint. Variety of Sinz tells us the devious sexual details in the life a female prostitute. It's gets ugly in the end of course. But that's the way the prostitution game goes.

You can hear negative sound in the mood and vibe of Bigger Balls when you listen to the beginning after 15 seconds. A keyboard organ playing down tempo notes easily gives away a negative eerie vibe and mood. A female vocalist is the angelic voice in the background chorus. This female vocalist is singing solo however on such short notes. Rap meets spoken word on Bigger Balls.

Variety of Sinz put out an album on cassette and its not selling in high quantities as the Top Authority - Rated G album is. They wonder why their album is not selling as many copies as the Top Authority- Rated G album is selling in terms of album sales. So now they wonder who has the bigger balls hence the title of this track. Variety of Sinz compares themselves to the rap group Top Authority on this track right here. They contemplate and wonder why their albums are not selling as well as the Top Authority album that are circulating around the city of Flint, Michigan.

Hellavish is a hellish song. Dark grim tales of horror are told. There is no turning back after listening to this song after a day. Hellavish is a reprise to the Stormy Night Intro from the 1994 album Blaze For The New Year that was released on cassette. The mood and vibe is dark. That's how music fans would consider this song. Mood easily/quickly gives a negative feeling onto the listener or audience comparatively speaking. It just gets worse from there.

The intro begins during a dark grim stormy night that quickly turns into a hellish nightmare. Hellish actions are committed by Variety of Sinz during a dark stormy night. During the course of this hellish song, hellish actions are being committed by people in society. Such actions leads to dark grim tales to be told.

Variety of Sinz comes at you live and direct on the track Live & Direct. Live & Direct was produced by Ghetto Symphony at RAPP Studios. Notice how the live sound over laps the studio sound.

Lil Troy - Back To Ballin' album review

Lil Troy resurfaced with a comeback album for the year 2001 after Sittin' Fat Down South in prison serving penitentiary sentence in Baytown, Texas. He surprised music critics such as All Music Guide, Houston Chronicle, MTV, and BET with this attempt of a comeback album! After all nobody would expect after serving a prison sentence Lil Troy would resurface back into the music scene. However, Back To Ballin' failed to meet the same levels of success as the predecessor album Sittin' Fat Down achieved reaching platinum status of 2 million units. Lil Troy is a hit and miss type of artist. Meaning that some of his tracks on his albums are worth listening to and others are not. His albums have some weak points and Back To Ballin' is no exception. Some tracks are worth listening to while others aren't. Lil Troy fans slept on and overlooked this album which resulted in Lil Troy's popularity to fade into obscurity after 2002.

For Years is the beginning comeback track that is the first full track on the Back To Ballin' album. For years, Lil Troy has been deep up this rap game, drug game, and textile manufacturing market. He's been deep up in this game since the 1980s.

We Gon Lean is the track that holds down the weight of the whole album as this was the #1 hit single off the album that received major airplay on the radio in Texas and the southern United States. Yes this is the same We Gon Lean that featured Will-Lean of the Botany Boyz and Lil Flip of group H$E. Lil Flip dished out the illest rhymes on this track. The music video received a bit minor rotation on MTV and BET back in 2001 when it first came out. Lil Flip wrote a portion of the track. We gon lean, you gon lean.

Lil Troy pays homage and tribute to Notorious BIG by titling this next track Mo Money, Mo Problems. No he doesn't try to jock or copy his flow in terms of rapping. The more money Lil Troy has the more problems he is likely to encounter. He encounters these problem while having large sums of money. It gets stressful. After all, having money can lead to having problems as they say.

Now Lil Troy warns the haters, gossipers, and snitches out there to keep his name out of their mouths on Keep My Name Out Your Mouth. Hardcore rap meets gangsta rap with a touch of lyricism on Keep My Name Out Of Your Mouth. Billy Cook lays down the soulful vocals with his voice. You can his work all over this one. Although Keep My Name Out Of Your Mouth sounds similar to what Big Pokey, ESG, UGK, DJ DMD, or Lil Keke would rap about.

It's back to ballin' for Lil Troy on Back To Ballin'. It's back to business as usual for Lil Troy. Ballin' is what Lil Troy does best. This is another track that was a single for this album. It was on the B Side of the We Gon Lean single issued on vinyl. Also, Back To Ballin' contains elements that sample Love You Inside & Out by Bee Gees.

Lil Troy turns Ladies Night into Lesbian Nights. Lesbian Nights contains replayed elements and samples from Ladies Night by Kool & The Gang. Lesbian Nights sounds like a title for a pornography flick. Billy Cook lays down the soulful chorus.

Dead Wrong tells us that for those who thought Lil Troy fell off, you're dead wrong! He's still alive and ballin'. Dead Wrong is aimed at those haters and naysayers who doubted Lil Troy from the beginning. Doubted that he wouldn't make it in the game. You are all wrong.

Wired Up is a lyricist freestyle. Lil Troy gets all wound up and wired up on this track. It  is freestyle rap.

There He Go is a flow track. There He Go is not the best track on the album. It's rather weak in terms of lyrics and quality. Buckle is a freestyle rap track which is another weak track.

Variety of Sinz - Rise of the Dead album review

Rise of the Dead is an album/EP from 2014 that was released online via YouTube. Variety of Sinz was inspired by the gruesome malicious classic horror films Return of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Dawn of the Night, Sacrificial Lambs, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Spawn. This album is more horrorcore and gruesome than all of their other albums. Horrorcore rap meets new school rap on this album. 40 Fiend and D Love take credit for most of this album. Gruesome is one relevant word to describe the whole album. The album is horror inspired and spooky.

XTC - Oranges & Lemons album review

Oranges & Lemons is a brehsive album by virtuoso band XTC filled with quirkiness. Andy Partridge wrote the entire album himself. Molding performs using his instruments as usual. XTC has released yet another classic album. Oranges & Lemons is just as good as the Nonesvch album. XTC takes an approach at lighthearted humor on this album.

Scarecrow People deal with people in society who can't and don't think for themselves that are programmed to be robots in order to comply with government standard set upon society's warped views. Or in this case robots have been replaced with scarecrows metaphorically speaking. No one gives a damn about thinking for themselves. People who don't have any brains and hearts are not very compassionate. (Not in a literal sense.) The scarecrow people eating that have chemicals injected in them.

One of the millions is about how Moulding is one of the millions of people aren't akin to the 80s thing. The 80s thing being the glam rock trend of that era. XTC was more pop and punk rock at the time. Rock was the trend of the time period back then. So Moulding uses that music genre as an example of trend.

Garden of Earthly Delights is a quirky XTC song about letting the dreams in your imagination run wild. It can be anything. Garden of Earthly Nights by XTC was compared to Arabian Nights repeatedly.

Van Halen - Balance album review

For sure Van Halen went the Nirvana route on this album. This album marked the end of their popularity in their career. Van Halen was not as popular in the 90s as they were in the 80s. By the 90s, Van Halen had lost popularity with the modern audience and in their crowd. Balance proved to be a balance in terms of quality, sound, mastering, production, and lyrics of course. A 1/4th of the album is instrumental rock music songs. Half of the Van Halen fans liked this album or they didn't.

Amsterdam was about Van Halen's travels in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Aftershock deals with such dramatic trauma. The band expresses the desire to return to Amsterdam. Strung Out, Doin' Time, and Baluchitherium are the instrumental songs that compensate a 1/3rd of the Balance album.

Don't Tell Me is about making your own choices and choosing your own destiny. It's all based on decision making. If you are wrong, then you will pay for it. Choices and destiny are the main topics for this song.

Van Halen gets religious and spiritually deep on The Seventh Seal song. We are walked down to the wishing well to help someone find a miracle. Holy water is splashed upon Ye. Now we are in a cold sweat and under the darkened skies we will see the bright yellow light. The light is broken now. We can't help but feel someone somewhere cracked the seventh seal. Nothing is sacred anymore.

We are now taken to the virgin spring where we wash away our suffering and sin. The suffering is washed away with holy water. Holy water is splashed upon us. Yet again, we end up in a cold sweat. Deep down, we have found our motherlode.

Nakai - Changes album review

Changes is Native American Indian flute music. The flute solo is performed by Nakai from Arizona. Nakai goes completely solo on this album with no help from any guest artists or any other appearances. (Minus the production team of course.)
Through life there are changes. These changes happen in cycles. Cycles do happen in life. Life repeats itself. Changes and cycles occur in life. Change happens for the good and the bad. We as humans must learn to adapt to these changes for the good and the bad. Some of these lessons in life are suppressed and long forgotten in ourselves after childhood. Even though some of these lessons in life have been suppressed into our memories in early childhood. Zuni Song is a traditional Zuni melody. The tranquility of this song soothes the mind, body, and soul. Zuni Song is a flute solo. Whippoorwill is a song of tranquility.

Yasunori Mitsuda - Sailing To The World album review

Sailing To The World smooth modern pop music mixed with that synth pop sound similar to J-Pop even Sailing To The World sounds similar to a title for a smooth jazz album. However this is not a smooth jazz album. It's more of a modern pop album. The whole album was composed by Yasunori Mitsuda. Melody of Aqua is a smooth pop melody of classical music mixed into the composition. Confrontation is a smooth pop song. Tribal meets tropical on Rhythm of Red. Rhythm of a smooth pop song infused with synths and tribal fusion. The tribal fusion is infused within this album.

Tinsley Ellis - Trouble Time album review

Tinsley Ellis plays a mean rhythmic blues guitar on this album. Not only does he play the guitar but he is the songwriter as well. Tinsley Ellis delivers a touch of blues on Sign Of The Blues. The song's production sound is live. He plays a mean blues guitar on this song. In fact, his skills improve even better on The Axe song. Highway man is sounds like something ZZ Top would right and perform. Tinsley Ellis is… "Pure hell on wheels." as Boston Globe puts it.

Zhané - Zhané album review

Vibe, particularly, is the best single that house parties rocking back in the day. That was the joint that was played nonstop on the radio. Old heads remember this song fairly well. It was that smooth 90s Motown R&B sound with the "straight from the heart" songwriting style that made the composition such a great phenomenal success. The sample from George Benson - Love X Love made the single a phenomenal success also. Smooth jazz meets sultry Motown R&B on the song Vibe. The mood is zen. Off My Mind is a swing jazz song with a swing rhythm that goes into a classical arpeggio. This song did not use a drum machine to accompany the percussion as many R&B song from the 90s era had. Groove Thang was another successful single off the Zhané album in 1994 that had an incorporated sample from Haven't You Heard by Patrice Rushen.

Medicine Dream - Mawio'mi album review

Progressive rock meets would music on this album. The album is filled with Native American Indian drumming, flute ensemble, and traditional singing led by Paul Pike of the Mikmaq Nation. Intertribal sound is tribute and dedication to the spirit of Native American Indian peoples everywhere. It a combustion of tribal sound everywhere. Msit Nokamaq features a tribal sound of drumming while We Belong is a song of traditional singing. The Blessing is a song of tranquility.

Lil Eddie - City of My Heart [Deluxe Edition] album review

City Of My Heart was released on Manhattan Recordings (Manhattan Records)/EMI in Japan and US in 2009 on CD. City Of My Heart is filled with tales of heartbreak and sorrow. In fact, the entire half of the album is filled with love songs of course. The other half of the album is filled with a slice of life genre. In 2009, the album sold 30,000 copies. By the end of 2010, the album sold 200,000 copies. The album City Of My Heart sold a total of 300,000 which was considered phenomenal in album sales!

Lil Eddie combats the problems of traffic congestion and transportation at the very beginning of City Of My Heart. Eddie wants wings in automobiles that way if anyone is stuck in traffic congestion during rush hour that can rush through the sky.
The line “Can you imagine living in a place where the wings in the cars go up, up, up And if you're ever stuck in traffic, fly past, sit in the rush, rush Straight through the red light. (ooh)” sums up Eddies’s views on traffic congestion and transportation very well.

The city of which Eddie is residing is the place that takes place inside of him is exactly what he considers to be the “city of my heart”. He takes us on a tour to a place called the city in my heart. Lay back like as if we're chillin' on the beach because Eddie will be the tour guide for this tour/journey. He will do all the driving.

After the very beginning of City Of My Heart, the rest of the song turns into a love song which ironically it always was even at the very beginning. Of course this is expected because this is Lil Eddie we’re talking about.

Start Over Again deals with the ups and downs in life. Lil Eddie tells us that no matter what stage you are in life, whether you’re young or old, it’s never too late to start all over again. You can always start over again. You know you limits and when you are torn apart. Lil Eddie also tells us that sometimes we need to start over again in life due to the ups and downs that take an emotionally effective toll on us as humans. Life has flaws and is filled with pain.

What's living without loss? What's life without loss? What's giving without a cause? Everything has a price, so now it's time to pay. What's life without the flaws? What's life without the pain? Life has flaws and is filled with such pain as stated. You can always start over again. Your fate will be tested throughout your life. Life is never perfect.

Hollyhood describes the success of how Lil Eddie made it out the neighborhood. Hollyhood also describes the success of Lil Eddie in his songwriter career along with the fall and rise of his career. Eddie gets very sentimental and autobiographical on Hollywood.

He particularly describes how it would be miracle if he were to ever reach to ever see his 21st year in his lifetime. But Lil Eddie made it out the neighborhood from a life of poverty. The verses “Cause it'd be a miracle if I ever reach to ever see my 21st year But look at your boy I made it out the sewer Thanks to Grandma I'm a entrepreneur So many people said I couldn't do it” sums up how Lil Eddie proved everyone wrong of how he would become a failure at life.

Lil Eddie went from homeless singer-songwriter to melody maker of the world's premie. Lil Eddie describes bluntly how he dealt living in a life of poverty on this line “You gotta make the best of what you got”. When you come from a successful background, the only way to go is up. Lil Eddie is now a Japan Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter!

Lil Eddie and Mya are a perfect combination duo for the Searching For Love track. The combination of these two voices works very well. Anytime Mya and Lil Eddie get together, the combination as a duo proves to be a success as Searching For Love charted at #1 on the iTunes Charts in 2009.

Both Eddie and Mya are searching for the true definition of love. When it comes to love, the duo is  quite curious leading them on a quest through singing and soul on this journey. Every story has more than two sides to it when love is involved. By the end of this love ballad, the duo finally find out what love is. Their fate is tested throughout the song.

Lost Footage takes us though a personal journey of a moment from the past from one of Eddie’s memories. It was a memory of a past relationship. Every story has more than two sides to it. They say nothing lasts forever. But there's still lost footage to the memory. No one has ever seen the lost footage.

All I See was a song that Lil Eddie helped produce for Kylie Minogue for her X album. This version of All I See on Lil Eddie's City Of My Heart album is his own cover of the same song. That’s why you can hear that particular flair of pop music in this song. Think pop flair as All I see is a pop flare themed song.

Trouble Sleeping is a bonus track that appeared on the Deluxe Edition of City of My Heart. The song featured Japanese artists JAY'ED and Casper. The song is a mix of the English and Japanese language. JAY'ED raps in Japanese on the second verse. At the beginning the song's tempo is set at two-step.

Love don't live here anymore on Love Next Door. Love Next Door is a cute innocent upbeat love song about the girl next door Lil Eddie has a crush on. He can't hide his true feeling on this love song. Such raw emotion is shown throughout the song. The song Love Next Door is another hidden bonus track.

Ziggy Marley - Dragonfly album review

Dragonfly is yet another truly overlooked Ziggy Marley album in the market of reggae music. It did not manage to capture audiences as his previous albums did. Leaving this album to be overlooked. Ziggy Marley was inspired by a dragonfly when he wrote the album Dragonfly.

True to Myself is an ode about being true to yourself. It's mainly focused on self-awareness. True to Myself raises awareness and self-consciousness. Life has changed and came a long way since yesterday. It's not the same thing even though life repeats itself. Day in day out there are questions to be asked only to find the truth later. You still have to remain true to yourself. We are tired of all these lies in this life.

Your frustration won't subside as you've been tried time after time on Looking. There is more to life than obscurity or fame. In obscurity or fame we all play the same game. Just by looking you will find happiness.

Ziggy showcases his obsession with dragonflies on the song Dragonfly. It quickly turns into a nursery rhyme similarly hear in a children's book. This is the song that inspired the album. Ziggy Marley was inspired by a dragonfly when he wrote the album Dragonfly.

Ziggy gets religious with his Jewish roots on Shalom Salaam. He dedicated the song to the children in Israel for which there is no peace. He addresses the ongoing violence regarding the Gaza Strip incidents by Palestine. War everyday there remains the same. Who will take the blame and responsibility for bloodshed of children? They die from suicide bombs and landmines. Living day to day life in the country of Israel is a struggle.

Irrationality in religion is called out by Ziggy on In The Name of God. Religion is an illusion that divides us all created by humans due to their confusion. Ziggy statues all religion should be wiped out. People kill in the name of God.

A little spliff of collie weed eases the grief on Melancholy Mood. It's a good song to meditate to because there is too much insanity in this society.

Ziggy Marley proves that he's no sellout on I Get Out. He does not suit the image of the format man molded by the system to fit in society's expectations as he travels far beyond the realms of society's expectations. That is his desire. He refuses what society expects out of him. Ziggy is humble within his own spirit. Music is a holy thing.

Lindi Ortega - Little Red Boots album review

Lindi Ortega released another folk rock music album with her band in 2011 called Little Red Boots.

Angels tells us the reasons why Lindi needs an angel. One night, Lindi decides to drink herself to sleep. When Lindi awoke, no one was missing her. She will be lonely until she dies. All of her dear friends have abandoned her so now she's just a stranger in a strange city. She contemplated how many more days must she live in this life. She states she'll need an angel tonight. She'll need one.

The truth becomes clear on Little Lie as the truth was a lie. She didn't want to tell you anything you didn't wanna hear. Look a little closer than the truth becomes clear. She told a little lie.

All My Friends are references to artificial substances she uses to get high on pleasure for. Mary Jane (marijuana) would come and ease the pain of life's insanity. Jack (Jack Daniels being an alcoholic beverage) would always have her back. She would stay up until dawn drinking this. Cigarettes and wine are her friends

Damion The Demon Seed - Dear Momma album review

Dear Momma was a track Damion The Demon Seed wrote for his mother Brenda Doxie. He tells her for all the drama he’s surely caused. Damion Brown wants to tell his mother he loves her but he doesn’t know how. Dear Momma is surely a heartfelt track. Damion shows us that he’s learned his lessons from the trials and tribulations of his life through trial and error. He knows he’s smart but he doesn’t apply himself in school.

He roams the streets every night and tries to fake it as he were living his life right. His mother worries about him every night wondering when he will come home or not. She thinks about him every night. He always told her he would change. But years later he's out doing the same thang. He is smart but his grades in school reflect so otherwise. (His grades are poor.)

Damion wanted to impress her by making it on his own, but fast money doesn't last too long. The fast money in the streets is tempting him to earn a living illegally otherwise. His grades are poor so he can't get a job. Being a young black male makes things twice as hard. He reconciled his difficulties with his mother at the end of the song.

Skanless Family Outro (Insanity Is What I Plead) is a 9 minute Skanless Family posse cut with Damion The Demon Seed, Dirty Jerk, Bone Skanless, and Mack Tha Jacka. The background music is heavily distorted and the dark mood is present. The electronically processed beats are fast paced. Most of the tracks sound quality is distorted, however being that it was recorded in 1993. It's 2 freestyles in 1 track.

Damion The Demon Seed and Dirty Jerk are first off to bat. Smell the smoke from the hell Damion brings to you. It chokes the angels with the harps as they sing to you. Damion just makes matters worse even thought this is the beginning.

What’s on your mind? Dirty Jerk replies “Murders in big numbers.” meaning that Dirty Jerk will put you six feet under the ground. Dirty Jerk digs deep inside his soul and tries to find himself. He thinks how deadly his mind can be. He’s the type of person to cut your fingers off, lace them cocaine, and smoke them. His father said he was a mistake so now he wants to choke him. An erection led him to be confused for no reason. He can’t see reality as he is blinded off it. Dirty Jerk can’t find reality. Don’t make him blow up because Dirty Jerk is deadly as a bomb see. It ain’t shit unless you involved. It makes his day to commit a murder. The bodies buried in the backyard before they start to smell. Before they catch death, it will be a cold day in hell.

In comes the disheartening distorted chorus chanting “Damion The Demon Seed” repetitively. Damion joined the Skanless Family because his father didn't like him. He made his shrink go crazy too. Insanity is what he pleads for reason in doing so. Damion is on a level that you can’t relate. If you want to step to him choose your fate. Damion has problems he can’t solve by using medicine. The devil is still inside of Damion and is killing him but hesitant.

Damion heard a voice in his bedroom telling him he’d be dead soon. Fuck ‘em all. Damion ain’t scared. The night falls dark and gloomy. He done went insane boy. His bookcase appears to be moving. He tries to save his mother from the drama. It sounds crazy, don’t it? Damion is not liable for his actions though. He picked up a bible and slammed it on the floor because he couldn’t understand it. The bible burns into flames. He then turns to the mirror to find out he’s disappearing like a genie. Damion sees visions of demons. It’s seems like a dream, but things are not done with it. It’s just the same shit old. Angels are singing in his ear. They appeared to have killed an old lady with a baby. That old lady is his dear mother. Her body falls to wall. Blood quick splatters. He tries to save his mother from the drama. What the fuck? Next he reached and grabbed her throat. It was over when Damion heard his name.

Mack Tha Jacka and Bone Skanless kick it secondly. Mack Tha Jacka introduces us to him first. Bone goes second. Mack Tha Jacka tells us about a murder committed on a fool. Mack Tha Jacka talks about how he had people jealous about the Skanless Family. (The Skanless Family name was buzzing around town at the time.) Next up, Bone Skanless kicks off an impromptu freestyle about Damion The Demon Seed. It ain’t nothing to Bone Skanless. This is skanless shit. Everything the Skanless Family did was scandalous. So cold and so skanless!

Damion himself is a nightmare as he describes next. So people fear him in their dreams. He’s down with the Skanless Klick. He’s kicking the skanless shit. He’ll be going to his own funeral. Damion eats souls until he gets full. He gets crazy like pit bull when eating human souls. Damion went crazy.

Mack Tha Jacka and Bone Skanless kick it off last. Next up, Bone Skanless kicks off an impromptu freestyle about Damion The Demon Seed. It's a freestyle rap on some horrorcore shit. This is a killer outro!

[The legend of this tape is when 2Pac came to Flint with MC Breed in 1993, he bought the master copy off of Damion and then released his own song "Dear Mama" which of course became a national hit. Tupac didn't give Damion credit for the song. Damion's investor sold the master tape of Dear Momma behind his back to 2Pac. Damion and 2Pac got into a fight backstage during a concert in 1993. So they cut ties.

If you listen to the lyrics of the song Dear Momma, they are very similar in style and sound. MC Breed had connections with U Be U Studios in Saginaw, Michigan and that is how Tupac met Damion and the Skanless Family. MC Breed had connections to the Michigan music scene as well.

Dear Momma was only available on reel-to-reel. An estimated guess of how many copies of this album exists is around 25 to 50 copies. Only those who are/were close to Damion have the reel-to-reels of Dear Momma. Such as members of the Skanless Family.]

Roney and the El Dorados EP review

Roney and the El Dorados was/is a rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. It's a surprise to see a rock band from Atlanta being that Atlanta is a hip hop/rap and R&B powerhouse in terms of music. Atlanta is a haven for black music. With that said, Roney and the El Dorados released an EP that was a demo cassette as an attempt to get major record labels to sign the band. The demo was recorded and engineered in January 1989. Classic rock meets the underground sound of hardcore rock with a pinch of soft rock on this EP. Jerome Radway had engineered the demo for Roney and the El Dorados then. The cassette itself is one sided so there is no B Side.

Roney and the El Dorados deliver their lyrics into a heavy acoustic guitar ridden song with the song Old Wooden Guitar. The acoustics used on this song are beautiful. There are many acoustic guitars used on the song to accompany the acoustics in terms of production. Production may not be up to par by studio standard only because Old Wooden Guitar was recorded as a demo. Heal Me is a smooth acoustic guitar duo song accompanied by the sounds of soft rock. The trio uses this song to calm the the mood of the EP. All three members use contributed their vocal on Heal me. Roney and the El Dorados did their best here.

Vallejo - Sins album review

Sins was the very first EP that was released by the Latin rock band Vallejo in 1994 on CD. Sins sold 5,000 copies within its first year of retail release. Vallejo living in Birmingham, Alabama at the time which is where all the songs for this EP were recorded at. The sound is very similar to the early days of Metallica, Alice in Chains, Creed, Pearl Jam, and Grupo Fantasma. The sound is very dark in mood and vibe. The Sins EP was later rereleased and remastered in 1999 on Vallejo Music Group (VMG) in Austin, Texas. Since then, Sins has sold over 15,000 copies total. Sins is a must have for Vallejo completionists out there who don't have this album.

The Vallejo band explains in their lyrics through songwriting what rhythm is on the song Rhythm Is… as they do on all their other songs. Rhythm is in your gains slowly flowing through you similar to a river of red rain. The Vallejo band has not found their religion as music seems to be their vision. Rhythm is in the blood of human souls. Rhythm is in your blood as well. We are the future of the next generation.

Out Of Time is dark song with dark mood and vibe. Out Of Time is similar to a song by Metallica or Creed from the Garage Days. Definitely early Metallica sounding if you catch the drift. The band Vallejo gives you something new on the song Something New. Bell-bottoms and funky hats. You can wear what you want because that's where it's with when you're rocking (with) Vallejo. This song will blow your mind!

Heavy Sugar is a heavy acoustic guitar ridden song accompanied by heavy bass lines. The bass lines are similar to what you would hear inside of acid jazz. Heavy Sugar sounds very similar to an early Metallica song from the Garage Days time period. The song Heavy Sugar also seems similar to a Creed song.

Sins is the title track that served as a single which also had a music video out. The music video was around 5 minutes long. Sins teaches us that good things must come and go. "Lord take me away from the world of sins." is quotable dialogue from the song.
