NFTP - NFTP album review

The self-titled NFTP cassette was released on Cut Foul Records from Flint. Think gangsta rap meets old school hip hop with this album when you listen to this cassette by NFTP. There are 4 or 5 tracks on this cassette.

NFTP is Niggaz From The Park from Sarvis Park on the West Side of Flint, Michigan. NFTP was from Moore Street as was Took-N-Bone. Sarvis Park was a hood not to be fucked with back then as Dayton Street was. NFTP made it very clear they did not like snitches. NFTP was a group composed of gang members from the city of Flint during that time period. Most members of the NFTP were Crips and some were Vice Lords. NFTP was a group composed of nine members. Big Dane, The Mac, Lil Mac, Big Rock aka Big Roc, A. Bone, Mackee aka The Undertaker (Mackeef), and others were members of NFTP. NFTP was cool with Took-N-Bone and DOA while almost no one else in Flint was at that time.

The first track is the intro which is The Undertaker's Dozen (13). The Undertaker's Dozen (13) is a short two and a half minute interlude about how The Undertaker killed 13 people and why his nickname is "13 Booties in a Basket". It's a never ending saga of The Undertaker committing random killing of unsuspecting victims. The Undertaker starts his first murder related killing on Friday the 13th. He killed women, men, and children. The Undertaker's Dozen (13) is about why Mackeef is The Undertaker. The mood of this interlude is very dark, sinister, foreboding, and brooding.

Mackee (The Mac) has a raspy distorted voice on Behind The Mac. I love the heavy bass and drum beats on Behind The Mac. Mackee made it clear he did not like Slobs (Bloods or in this case Flint Bloodstones) because he was a Crip. (Not to mention Spanish Cobras, Dayton Mafia, and Selby Hood.) Big Dane was a Crip too. The Mac can't stand the fact that there are too many snitches in Flint due to the fact that Flint is a small city of 100,000 people. NFTP had beef with many snitches as well as many local Flint gangs such as Flint Bloodstones, Spanish Cobras, Dayton Mafia, and Selby Hood.
It's a straight gangsta song!

While DFC was the most funkiest rap group, while Took-N-Bone were the dopest, The Dayton Family was the most hardest gangsta rap group, DOA was the most deadliest rap group, you had Ruff-N-Rugged which was the most rugged rap group in Flint, Top Authority was the most authoritative in Flint, Guttt Control was the most gutsiest sexually suggestive out of all the Flint rap groups at that time, while FOD was the rawest, and Artfull Dodgers was the most artsiest, NFTP was the most scandalas rap group from Flint!

Stephen Quire - Dreamin' single review

Yes. This is the Stephen Quire who anally sodomized himself with a remote control getting more agitated from an outburst after finding out his mother canceled his World of Warcraft account back in 2009. Stephen Quire is better known as the Freak Out Kid from the wafflepwn video “Greatest freakout video”.

Anyway the single was released on iTunes in 2011 and was produced by Kold Kut. Melissa Briggs is the female vocalist on the chorus.

Stephen's growing tired because he's feeling his skills have expired. He just got started and it doesn't make sense. It's about expressing youself and then comes the money. There is no way to sell it when you're living in the country. And Stephen Quire lives on the countryside of Indiana. So Stephen had so hopeless and just wanted to quit. His friends even didn't give a shit it seem like whether or not he makes it or looses in this rap race. Writing down all those symbolic rhymes. Stephen does have the strength to fight his own battles. Stephen is obviously growin' weak and he regrets. His inspiration must come from acid trips. It's time to break off the chains forget about the pain. The Love he used to have has been scraped and raped. Or maybe Stephen will wake up and this will all be a dream?

Ima Hoosier is a realistic rhymin' track. His rhymes are so simple and well thought out. His lyrics were so very literal. His flow was slow and monotone, and easy. He is actually really good. You should listen to him.

AP9 - Bitch Killa album review

This album is a hyphy album! A guaranteed Bay Area classic. An all time slapper! The album features brehsive artists such as Young Noble, EDI, Mitchy Slick, Paul Wall, Smiggz, and more! All the tracks are quite hyphy and brehsive.

Dope featuring Joe Blow is the highlight standout of the album! This hyphy track should be a single. The beats are hyphy and brehsive. Dope is so brehsive. This track should have been 2 or 3 minutes longer. 2:25 was too short.

EDI of The Outlawz and Smiggz appear on the track Mobbin' is a hyphy track laced with Mobb music. Mobbin' Mob On is another hyphy track laced with Mobb music. All In My Grill should have featured Paul Wall as the role would have been appropriate for him. Mob Work is a killa gangsta track about puttin' in work and doin' dirt. That thug type of shit. All My Life is biographical track.

Jewell’s Woman To Woman single came out in 1994 for those who don't remember. If you got the retail single with Natural Born Killaz with Dr. Dre and Ice Cube then you know your single is legit. This single contains LP version and radio version. If you got the promo copy, a song called Back In Bed was on side 2 of the single.

Brad Strut - The Authentic LP album review

Brad Strut is from Australia. This CD came out in 2005. The artwork graphics are far out superb and all that! People will really think graphic design author did a marvelous job on that. The kangaroo looks real trill. So does the back inlay cover of this album. The art style is so bling-bling. Look for yourself!

Torrey Carter - The Life I Live Album Sampler

As you all know, Torrey Carter was signed to Goldmind Inc. by Missy Elliott in 2000. Torrey Carter spawned only one hit called Take That thus making him a one hit wonder. Which is why he got dropped from Elektra roster as well as the Goldmind Inc. as some of you Missy fans & fanatics all know.

If It's Money That You Want is a slow jam about money and love. A ladies favorite! Kind of laid back, smooth, and casual feelings to this song in a smooth melody. Ironically the songs' theme intends to be about greed in a certain way that I am unable to communicate to you all. Torrey Carter does song similar to Usher on this solo song.

Same 'Ol features Missy Elliot. The track starts out with Missy Elliott arguing that Torrey Carter is in the studio recording music every damn night. He's not selling that many cuts and records. Missy tells him to look at this damn house, he hasn't took out the trash, hasn't paid the bills, and really he hasn't done anything. (He basically has done nothing.) Torrey comes home late at night and sleeps all day. Missy wonders what Torrey is going to do with himself. Torrey states that he's been working hard overtime. He's busting his ass making themselves dough. Torrey can't seem to get it right. He's about to give up.

The Life I Live (The Life I Wanna Live) features Nokio of Dru Hill. This is the title track. It's about the good life. Getting to do what you want like com home late at night and sleep all day, have sex in hotels, and such as being carefree! All that good shit!

Cream (Ride or Die) features both Lil Mo and Nokio of Dru Hill is about  is having your love partner always by your side in a relationship until death. It's basically Ride or Die. A marriage theme song to say the least. It is about sexual intercourse.

If Same Ol' and If It's Money That You Want were promoted as singles and music videos were made with time and efforts into these songs the album would have sold better.Torrey should have tried  not to mold himself just to fit in with the other R&B/Soul male artists that were out there at the time.
