1990s New Jack Swing was the 90s equivalent of 1920s jazz. 1990s New Jack Swing was the 90s jazz equivalent to what 1960’s soul was the 60’s blues equivalent to 1940’s jazz. Blues meets the New Jack Swing sound on this EP. Whoever came up with the idea of having blues music meet New Jack Swing is a musical genius! Who else would have thought of that musical combination of two genres? Better yet have created a musical formula? San Fransisco Originals was a male quartet from San Fransisco, California in the 1990s consisting of 4 members.

Adina Howard - Welcome To Fantasy Island album review
Welcome To Fantasy Island was released as a promo only CD by Elektra Records in 1997. Her album was shelved after disputes with Elektra Records over the handling of the project and other internal issues within the label's management. The label was not feeling the album. What really happened was that Adina Howard talked trash about music industry executive Sylvia Rhone of Elektra Records and it got back to her. Another real issue was that it was too racy for radio. Adina was widely ridiculed for her bold lyrics and provocative image.
Unreleased albums are the best! That’s speaking overall. Elektra dropped the ball on Adina Howard by dropping her from the label. Her label had shot themselves in the foot when that business decision was made. They really lost a star with fame and such potential. Adina Howard became a global household name with her previous album and this one. Adina Howard shot herself in the for the comments about Sylvia Rhone. Adina Howard was “blackballed” in the music industry.
T-Shirt & Panties became another cult classic for Adina Howard. The song was a hit for her and the Elektra label. The song itself was previously released on the soundtrack to the 1998 film "Woo”. T-Shirt & Panties is also the sensual erotic fan-favorite.
(Freak) And U Know It was the sequel to her 1995 hit Freak Like Me. The song is great itself. (Freak) And U Know It was produced by DJ Quik. One can tell that Adina Howard had a lot more creative control on this record.
Could've Got Away could have been an ideal choice to be chosen to be a single for this album if the label had promoted the album correctly. Could've Got Away is similar to a song that Ginuwine would write. The song could been on a soundtrack for a film.
Nasty Girl is a cover of the hit Vanity 6 song. However Nasty Girl did not make the final album tracklist. Sexual Needs is a sensual erotic fan-favorite. R&B singer Ginuwine wrote Sexual Needs while Timbaland produced it.

X-Raided - And He Shall Appear album review
And He Shall Appear is a “cut and paste” “compilation album” X-Raided randomly threw together without any effort because most of these tracks are from previous albums of his such as The Unforgiven, Vengeance Is Mine, The Initiation, and X-Ology. If your were looking from new material from X, you will be solely disappointed with this album. It’s cut and past project. Meetcha Maker and Witta Mask On Pt. 2 are the only new songs written by X-Raided on this album.
And He Shall Appear was released in 2002 on his former independent label Mad Man Records. The album was released on CD only. X-Raided, DJ Shareil, Verbal Tek, and KG were responsible for the production. KG and DJ Shareil do a wonderful job of producing.
To the very day, X-Raided is still making tight music from the penitentiary. However this album not his best. And He Shall Appear is his worst album to date. This is not gangsta rap at its finest at all. He can do better with effort such as with his previous albums and compilations from longevity over the decades. He can create and compose better quality albums as he has proven to do so with The Unforgiven and Sacramentally Disturbed. The only highlights for this album are the production and artwork.
Meetcha Maker is another version of Let It Be Known from the 2001 album The Initiation. X-Raided lets it be known to us that death is inevitable. Hence the track having a death theme. For the entirety of this track, X-Raided lets it be known.
X-Raided explains to us through lyrics in the chorus that death is inevitable. He uses such key lyricism to portray reality. He uses dark forbidding imagery.

X-Raided - Deadly Game (2008 Edition) album review
Now the Deadly Game album was put together and produced by William Larcell Charles (LA Chill) in 2002 for the distribution label JLM Entertainment from Sacramento, California. Deadly Game is not a bootleg despite what X-Raided fans may think. The Deadly Game is a legit X-Raided album. It was released on the JLM Entertainment label and Trumptz Recordz in 2002 on CD that was later distributed by Koch Records (now E1) in 2008.
William Larcell Charles (LA Chill) is the same man who produced the Xorcist album in 1995. He produced and wrote some of X-Raided’s albums. He did not get the credit he lawfully deserved during his time at Black Market Records and from JLM Entertainment. This project is an album that he wanted to get done in order to get X-Raided’s name out there.
Reportedly as advertised by the album cover, Deadly Game came in limited edition. As reported and advertised by the album cover, his work is his life. And maybe even his death! “His Work Is His Life, And Maybe His Death.” There are also excerpts and clips of news broadcasts, news reports, and interviews included on this album.
Most of the songs from this album are remixes of tracks from other albums such as Unforgiven, X-Ology, and Speak Of Da Devil. Some fans argue such remixes aren’t as good as the originals. That’s why X-Raided fans slept on this album and regarded Deadly Game as a bootleg. None of the tracks from Vengeance Is Mine were included in Deadly Game however.
Deadly Game is filled with raw uncut material. Take notice of such anger his lurid lyrics as this album has person anger that separates Deadly Game album from all his other albums. Deadly Game is filled with 15 tracks of pure heat as Deadly Game proves to be an underground hit! Deadly Game is a must have for any X-Raided fan!
The sound quality is pretty bad and low-tech because Deadly Game was recorded when X-Raided was in solitary confinement at Salinas Valley State Prison in Soledad, California. Most of the Deadly Game album was recorded under the noses of CDC officers. X-Raided managed to release another album from behind bars during his incarceration which intrigued the eyes of controversy baffling administrators as to how this breach of security occurred.
You won’t find good production on Deadly Game. So don’t expect his voice to be clear as it was on Unforgiven and Vengeance Is Mine. All of these tracks are all original and the vocals untouched by studio technology. As usual the samples are crazy.
Deadly Game was a track that the lyrically gifted X-Raided co-authored and wrote for C-Bo in 1998 while they were both locked up at Deuel Vocational Institution in Tracy, California. This is the Deadly Game song on his 1998 Til My Casket Drops album that got C-Bo incarcerated for violating his parole. Only this version is a lot different from the version on the 1998 Til My Casket Drops album. Notice the echoes in the vocals and the studio enhanced voice. The vocals have a reverb to them.
Deadly Game got C-Bo convicted for violating his parole by writing songs that promoted criminal activity and violence. Deadly Game promoted and advocated criminal behavior such as violence against law enforcement officers, public officials, and parole agents.
X-Raided never was no choirboy. (He never was a goody two-shoes in other words.) He has a gang load of prior convictions. That’s why law enforcement be trippin’. Trying to give a young black man 35 years to life when X-Raided hasn’t anything wrong. He has no information to offer the officer. X got confrontational with the officer by turning into a smart mouth. That’s where the trouble starts. The officer now puts his thumbprint in a high tech computer. His name came back with a warrant. They say X-Raided robbed a liquor store in a strong armed robbery. Police know when, where, and how. It’s foul. He admits that. Now they have X-Raided detained in custody downtown where police officers are performing an anal cavity search on him.
The DA had a proposition during the pre-trial conference. (The DA had already came up with a proposition before hand.) DA said “You’re losing in you trial. You'll get 38 years with and an ”L” on top.” The DA (District Attorney) gave him 5 years with most of the charges dropped. It’s sad. X admits that. Sentence him to 5 years in prison and 2 years he has to bring in order to be eligible for parole.
The chorus is where the lyrically gifted X-Raided advocates violence against law enforcement officers, public officials, and parole agents. Deadly Game promoted criminal behavior and criminal activity. Notice the personal anger in these violent lyrics against the government. It's a deadly game of baseball with the court and government. The government has it against black people. X wants to kill government officials in Deadly Game.
Right now, X-Raided is fresh out of prison unrehabilitated. Raided doing hella good and his PO (parole officer) hates it. This parole officer is a dyke lesbian bitch. She can’t wait to violate X for some petty ass shit. (Obviously this parole officer has it out for him.)
At this point in the track, X-Raided is filling several applications for jobs as he is seeking employment. Minimum wage does not cover living expenses. Inevitably, X goes back to his old ways. It's time for him to start having things his way. We are now at the club with X-Raided. X now has his Coupe painted candy apple green. The clear coat sprayed on thickly.
At this point in the track, X goes back to his old ways as he is sick and tired of going through all this shit. X-Raided has got two strikes right now as we speak. X is putting his belongings on Greyhound Bus #22 that is headed in the direction to another state. Him and his crew.
X-Raided calls out former California Governor Pete Wilson in Deadly Game. With Governor Pete Wilson in office you get no parole date. A petty crime with a prior conviction will buy your fate. Look how he capitalized his position into political office off the death of Polly Klass. Look how he capitalized off the death of Polly Klass. Governor Pete Wilson used her death and the family's name to gain more votes and political fame.
X-Raided - Deadly Game uses and incorporated samples from Tom Tom Club - Genius of Love, Grandmaster Flash - The Message, C-Bo - Deadly Game, and Fuckin Wit A Psycho from the 1992 Psycho Active album of X’s. All of which you hear in the chorus. The beats sample Tom Tom Club - Genius of Love and Grandmaster Flash - The Message.

X-Raided turns trial by jury into ‘trial by fury’ on the track Trial By Fury. Trial By Fury was from his 2000 Speak Of Da Devil album. This version of Trial By Fury is a more spooky horrorcore remix that will surely leave a memorable impact on your mind. Notice how spooky the bass is.

Notice the personal anger in these violent lyrics. Such lyrics are truly genius in the eyes of X-Raided. X-Raided knows hectic lyrics as he calls out snitches from all angles. X-Raided calls out the prosecutor, judge, and jury because they never truly cared about poor people. Why are folks trying to put X-Raided in a cell?
Hell Raiser is a slightly less polished version of a track by the same name from the 2000 Speak Of Da Devil album. Only this version of Hell Raiser features Young Droop and Maniac whereas the original version of Hell Raiser X-Raided did solo.
This version of Hell Raiser has a more horrorcore with an eerie vibe that can be considered to be ultra spooky. The processed percussion is heavy hitting leaving a memorable impact on your mind. X-Raided’s vocals have an echo here. Overall Hell Raiser will leave a memorable impact on your mind!
Cash was on X’s mind at an early age as he was growing up too fast by looking out for ways to stay paid. God bless the child that has his own as he was told. So every single day the dope was sold. X-Raided never liked school because this shit was never real for him. Never stood still long enough to have stability. Nor did he never took advantage of his athletic abilities. The only way up out the ghetto for a black man is to either play a sport or know how to sing, rap, or dance.
The only other option is to join a gang or sell narcotics. Hanging out with the other high rollers trying to get your pockets swoll. Looking at the competition. Ever since X-Raided was little that was his dream. He is trying to get his pockets swoll. His pants been sagging ever since he was a seventh grader with a pocket full of rocks and a Sky pager. X had dreams of coming up major. X-Raided turned out to be nothing but a little ass hell raiser.
In this verse of Hell Raiser, X-Raided fucked around and caught his homegirl ovulating. That threw a cold twist on the whole situation. Now he has to figure out a way to break the Genius World Record for making cash. He has a baby in his business. X called up the ese and went down to Stockton for some illegal activity. (Stockton, California is a predominantly a Hispanic city. So it would definitely make logical sense for the eses to hang out there.) Throw it on the scale. 1,000 grams is what it weighs. Getting 10 g's ($10,000 USD) because he shows him love.
These words are spoken in the Spanish language. “Mucho gracias senior, Adios.” Translate these words into English and the result is: “Thank you very much, sir.”
And then he’s up out the door. It’s back to Sacramento as it’s time to make the paper stack. X-Raided is standing in the kitchen with palms itching cooking up the chicken. 11-3-51 narcotic 85% pure product. Let it rock up. His stock is up a grip. $600 bucks a zip.
X somehow fucked up and slipped. Of course the Taskforce dipped by catching X-Raided with a quarter pound of “D”. In court he got a deal or in this case a reduced sentence for 3 years as he entered a guilty plead. Eventually X-Raided is in the penitentiary at San Quentin. 32 months in the penitentiary he has to do. Then he’ll be back on the streets with his crew.
At this point, X is fresh out the pen and once again on the loose. His lady had his baby and she's already 2. Back in the hood and ain't a damn thang changed. All the same people struggling trying to survive in the game. X-Raided needs his cash even if he has to ride or die. His pants been sagging ever since he was a 7th grader with a pocket full of rocks and a Sky pager. X had dreams of coming up major. X-Raided turned out to be nothing but a little ass hell raiser.
Stockton rapper Maniac stands out as being the most aggressive rapper on the Deadly Game album. His versatile style of rapping is what makes him aggressive. His style of rap is almost somewhat similar Sacramento rapper Luni Corleone. He has all this anger and aggression stored up overall.
He calls out Ced Singleton of Black Market Records. He has all this anger and aggression stored up towards Ced Singleton. For instance, take a look at the verses below.:

The track X-Raided is a remix of Nefarious from the Speak Of Da Devil album. This track X-Raided is packaged as a bonus track that turns out to be an exact duplicate of Nefarious from the Speak Of Da Devil album. The only differences are the musical instruments used and the beats were produced by LA Chill instead of Ced Singleton or KG. An upright guitar was used in the remix instead of the violin selection that was used in the original version. Now that is just crazy. The track is X-Raided (Bonus Track).
In this track, X-Raided introduces himself as Nefarious on X-Raided (Bonus Track) before the first verse as an introductory sentence. The birth of Nefarious was created as an alias in 2000 for the Speak Of Da Devil album from Black Market Records for obvious reasons. (The DA said so. The DA said that X was “nefarious for his crimes.)

X-Raided gets autobiographical on Momma’s Pride and Joy. Momma’s Pride and Joy was from Unforgiven. Momma’s Pride and Joy is an autobiographical and sentimental track. This version of Momma’s Pride and Joy is unmastered rough draft copy of Momma’s Pride and Joy hence the echoes in both the vocals and background. Notice the enhanced voice.
It's been on every day since they cut the umbilical cord. X been on a mission since the circumcision destined to be hardcore. His birth date is July 30, 1974. The same years the Steelers whipped on Minnesota in football. Since the moment he was born X-Raided destined to be a hardcore thug. Hardcore is what X-Raided wanted to be. X-Raided wanted to be crazy.
His sister took care of him because she was his older sister. His big sister is older than him by 4 years. She fed him when he was hungry and dried up all his tears. His older sister had to be a woman at 16 with no assistance from anyone.
He started off in a very nurturing environment in the beginning. (It wasn’t so bad in the beginning.) 15 years later in 1989 he became X-Raided. His mother tried to steer him onto the right path but he ignored her. It’s clear X gave up on life at a very early age. His childhood was non existent. His childhood was non existent as he himself claims. Gangsterism is hereditary to him.
X-Raided wished his life didn't turn out the way it had. It's too late for all that “coulda shoulda woulda” mess. He only wanted to be a man but never knew how. Only if X knew then what he knows now it would be a different story.
X-Raided describes prison life during his incarceration on Incarcerated. Incarcerated was a track on the Speak Of Da Devil album. It was recorded in 2000 for his Speak Of Da Devil album that was synonymously released as Nefarious - Speak Of Da Devil album for Black Market Records. It was recorded when he was in solitary confinement.
X-Raided takes shit day by day while incarcerated in prison. California trying to send his ass to Pelican Bay State Prison. Pelican Bay is one of the toughest, hardest prisons in the state of California. X had a story to tell and he told it. X had a song to sing and he sung. And he got time. X-Raided got railroaded like Amtrak by the court.
Almost nobody had his damn back. X had all the odds against him to begin with anyway from the beginning. Murder in the first degree with premeditated was the crime X was charged with. They (DA and court) thought it was necessary. This shit is fucked up! He is incarcerated.
He is trying to keep his head up. Living the motto of do or die. X got all the odds against him. Somebody tell us why. X-Raided is sitting in the penitentiary trying to survive.
X-Raided is Nefarious. The DA (District Attorney) said so. The DA told the jury “He's crazy! You can't let him go.” Attorney At Law Dan Castro had his back to a certain extent, but they still didn't find X-Raided innocent. Obviously he was found guilty as charged. Them 12 white folks trying to give X-Raided all day on his case. (Them 12 white folks are who represent the jury that are present in the jury.) The DA gave X-Raided 31 years to life in the penitentiary for his sentence. His former attorney Pete Harned got caught with child pornography. He was a pedophile. If that was all, it didn’t bother him, but Pete got caught with child pornography. He was nothing but a pedophile. This shit is fucked up.

Heated was a track that was included on the 2008 edition of the Deadly Game album that also went under the name True Colors. Heated was a track that was included on the 2002 edition of the Deadly Game as well.
In retrospect and in terms of similarities, Heated is very similar to My Two 9’s from the 2001 Heated compilation. The music and beats are similar to each other. It’s mainly the beats that are similar to each other.
Heated (True Colors) is a diss rap aimed at Mr. Doctor. It is also aimed at wanna-be gangsters, followers, scammers, and foot soldiers. And people who live off the Garden Blocc name but don’t put in work or do dirt. X-Raided lets it be known to the homies in Sacramento on this track by calling people out. He lets the homies know what really goes on. It’s a slapper!
In this track X-Raided takes jabs at former Sacramento rapper Mr. Doctor for switching his rap style from the Settripin’ Bloccstyle album to the Doc Holliday album. X-Raided calls Mr. Doctor for being a snitch by being an informant to Sacramento PD by ratting on homies from the 29th Street Garden Block Crips set.
For example, Mr. Doctor ratted out Big Dan for a murder he committed. Doc told Sacramento PD Big Dan was responsible for a murder that happened to a man from another gang. What ended up happening was that Big Dan served prison time. Doc got less prison time for his sentence. This led the Garden Blocc Crips to distrust and despise Mr. Doctor. He is no longer affiliated with the set as a result.
There is a reason X-Raided no longer associates himself with Mr. Doctor, Here are examples of verse below explaining why.

They were cool when they were loc’s. However that was until Mr. Doctor turned his back on X-Raided over some misinformation. That’s when shit got sour. X has love for the BG’s.
X-Raided calls out wanna-be gangsters and foot soldiers. That ain’t did shit in the game. Living off the fame of the Garden Blocc name. They never did dirt or put in work but they be talking to their G’s about macking bitches and slanging keys. All they did was get in the way live off of the real gangster’s success.
X-Raided lets it be known on this track by calling people out. He lets the homies know what really goes on. Recognize who your folks and friends are. Because when shit gets rough only the tough stand close. X-Raided be pulling hoe cards.

Attack Yo Bitch is a remix of Macaframa from the 1999 Unforgiven album. It is only the lyrics that are the same. Of course with the exception of a few additional verses at the end. However that is the only difference in terms of lyrics.
Attack Yo Bizatch by X-Raided sampled Tom Tom Club - Genius of Love which it heavily relies on. The percussion’s tempo is about the same as the original version of Macaframa from the 1999 Unforgiven album. Only the treble is slightly reduced. Using an 80s pop song for a rap track written in 1999 was probably not the best idea since Check Yo Bizatch sounded wack. Attack Yo Bitch was also known as Check Yo Bizatch.
Ready For War is an all out, on fire lyrical freestyle by X-Raided! The lyrically gifted X-Raided goes all out on the freestyle tip for the gruesome Ready For War track. Ready For War is fire! Of course, Ready For War was Decapitation from the Speak Of Da Devil album. LA Chill produced the beats with KG.
As for the two instrumentals…
Enter My Grave is an instrumental introduction with a spooky horrorcore vibe. Duration for Enter My Grave is 1:11. Percussion instruments used are sampled from a processed drum kit such as an SP 1200 for instance. The volume gets loud quickly. The bass also relents a spooky vibe.
Death At Your Door is an instrumental similar to how Enter My Grave is an instrumental introduction. Death At Your Door, too, has a spooky horrorcore vibe. The presence of bass is not as heavy as it was on Enter My Grave. The instrumentals of Enter My Grave and Death At Your Door were put together and produced by William Charles (LA Chill) in 2001.
