Mixerr Album Reviews #169

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review the Golden Classics album by Willie Hightower. This was released in 1989 along with the reprint in 2002.

This album review will be different from the other album reviews because I will focus more on the downsides of the reprints on this one. This is how this particular album review will be written today.

If you bought the 1989 cassette version, you have the legit one. If you got the 2002 reprint, you got ripped off. There are a lot of bootlegs and reprints of this album. So be careful.

The downsides are the graphics and the time length. The graphics are quite generic even for a cassette that was made in the late 1980s. In other words the graphics are quite shitty indeed. So be prepared to those who thought there would a lot of inserts. Just thought I'd let you know. This album has so many songs yet the tape is so short. Don't get me wrong! I think these songs are great. It's just that the artwork is mediocre. This album is just for the collectors out there that just want to fill their Willie Hightower collection.

I rate this album, Golden Classics, 3/5***.
