This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will write about the review for the self-titled album by Fo-Deep from Flint, Michigan. The album was released in 1994. Fo-Deep was on Deep Style Records. There are only 4 tracks on this cassette.
One of the members reminds me on Melle Mel for some reason. The deep vocals are on alto. I love the variant of the alto sax that is used on the album. The mood for album is mellow. A lot of the songs are slow paced love jams. BANGTOWN is the main producer for the album as he is for all the other albums. Let me put it that way!
Naked is an in bed sexual healing love song along with Mutha Nature. Naked reminded me of DJ Screws style for some reason. All syruped out. So is Mutha Nature. Keep It Mellow is quite obvious so I won't go into that. Fo-Deep Theme is quite mellow.
I rate this self-titled album, 4/5****.
