Tokyo Child Bill Law controversy

The controversial unpopular Tokyo Child Bill Law was enforced and enacted by the Government of Japan in 2010. This law sparked outrage from all over Japan! Read this review and see the story behind this controversial Japanese law.

For those who didn't know, in 2010 the legislators inside the government of Japan made a law called Tokyo Child Bill Law which was enforced and enacted in 2010. This sparked outrage in the otaku community, doujinshi market, porn industry, anime market, and various fan communities. There was huge outrage in all of Japan because of this law! This law was especially unpopular with the fans of the doujinshi market and manga artists. Due to the large outrage in Japan, the Tokyo Child Bill Law was struck down and repelled in 2011.

What this law meant was that any animes that had incest in them were deemed illegal by the Japanese government. Even writing about incest with fictional characters was illegal! This was originally intended to stop child pornography in Japan. Not everyone in Japan was happy with this law enacted.

The Tokyo Child Bill Law was extremely unpopular with the fans, otaku, and in the doujinshi market. The artist for Ore Imo, Hiro Kanzaki, did not enjoy dealing with this law because this particular law made it hard for animes such as Ore Imo and Negima to gain profits from in Japan.
