Mixerr Album Reviews #401

This is Michael Mixerr. I will re-review Kid Creole and The Coconuts - I Wake Up Screaming. Pretty lame, huh? Don't like? Too bad! Deal with it!

Every single track on this album is dedicated to a significant person, place or thing. That's what is so significant about his album and about the dedications on this album. For example, the title track is dedicated to the Mighty Sparrow and This Is My Life is dedicated to Fela Kuti. Heck even Sly Stone gets mentioned for a dedication. Sly Stone is the one who taught Kid Creole that anything goes.

This Is My Life teaches us that there is no limit to how many musicians and dancers you can have up on stage. Simultaneously when the groove is real. This statement can be until you put in the factors of keeping up with the standards of building codes and fire hazard.

Somebody's Got To Lose is dedicated to all the losers who think that they are winners. Let me explain and put it this way. There's a looser in every winner and there's a winner in every looser. There's a looser inside everybody that wins at something. There's a winner inside everybody that looses at some point in time. Loosers don't win at everything. Don't be 'all that'.

I rate this album, I Wake Up Screaming, 5/5*****!
