This is Michael Mixerr. This is Michael Mixerr. I will review Across The Bridge by Red Sonnet again due to this album being overlooked by a lack of interest by many music fans. Red Sonnet is Sharron Harris and Jan Harris. This album was released in September 2014. Red Sonnet is a folk band as I said before. The whole album will remind you of Enya.
Across The Bridge is a melodical folk song great for drinking coffee to in a coffee shop. It's slow as a creek and 5 minutes long. Across The Bridge will remind you of Spirited Away by Enya. Well a bit of pop flair into the mix of this mellow tune.
Waters Flow will remind you of Shepherd Moon by Enya. Reminds me of Spirit Rivers too. It will remind you of that too. Waters Flow is a slow melodic tune that will give you the feeling of a typical song sung by New Age vocalist artist Enya. This whole album/EP will. Let me put it that way,
Sacred King is about 4 to 5 minutes long. It has a brooding mood yet retains that slow melodical tune that all of the other songs have throughout the whole album. Sacred King reminds me of Tweet for some odd reason. Has Kings of Leon feeling too. I'll never understand exactly why that is. The Whitest Stone yet again reminds me of an Enya song. Fallen reminds me of an Alicia Keys song and a Tweet song mixed together. The soulful pop flair of neo-soul is definitely is in the contents of this album. Gathering is the shortest song on the entire album.
I rate this album/EP, Across The Bridge, 4/5****!
