This is Michael Mixerr. Today I am going to review the Danny Brown - XXX album from 2011. However this album review will be about the graphic design rather than the actual music content. That's how this album review will be different.
When you think of the Danny Brown - XXX album cover artwork for graphic design, you will automatically think about Andy Warhol's banana painting for the album cover artwork for The Velvet Underground album called The Velvet Underground & Nico. XXX seems very similar to pop art in spite of the album being released for the underground music scene. When you think of XXX by Danny Brown, you will automatically think about the pop art in artwork from the 1960's and not the Neoclassicism of the 2000's.
Quite similar to Joy Division and The Offspring. It's not that common you can get to see album cover artwork like on the XXX album.
