Mixerr Album Reviews #827

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will re-review The Ultimate Experience album by Jimi Hendrix due to popular demand!

Already into 6 seconds of the song Purple Haze and it becomes a memorable song. The guitar riff and percussion kits is what makes Purple Haze a memorable song. Purple Haze has countless references to marijuana usage. Purple Haze is popular among Jimi Hendrix fans and fans of commercial mainstream music. Some fans and music critics say that Purple Haze is an ode to heroin. However that's false. Jimi plays as both the lead singer and rhythm player on the song Purple Haze. Use of the Fuzz Face distortion pedal is what makes Purple Haze extremely loud.

Purple Haze seems to be based off a tale of scene fiction. That's ironic considering the fact that Jimi was inspired by a science fiction magazine he read. At the time he read it, he was hooked on science fiction.

Voodoo Child is where Jimi gets poetic. By using imagery from African mythology and metaphysics, that's how Jimi gets poetic on Voodoo Child. It's easily sensible to acknowledge that Voodoo Child is rooted in African mythology. Allusions are used in this tale of mythology.

Such powerful imagery is used in this tale of mythology for the track Voodoo Child. Jimi Hendrix is truly a visionary when it comes to songwriting, performing live in concert, and music altogether.

Hey Joe is a popular Jimi Hendrix song known widely across the planet. This is the song that launched his career and skyrocketed after that point. Hey Joe is a slow paced rock song. Many musicians have covered this song overtime. That's why there are so many different versions and covers of this particular song right here. It is also noted that Hey Joe is one of those difficult songs to perform right.

The Wind Cries Mary marks a sudden change of musical style. The Wind Cries Mary is your typical break-up story which details life in a domestic relationship. Nothing too interesting though.

Highway Chile is autobiographical track about being on the road on tour all the time while touring. That classic heavy rock sound of the 1960s is very prevalent in this track. Highway Chile details Jimi's life on the road.

Red House is heavily influenced by blues music as Red House is a classic 12 bar blues song. Blues was clearly a critically influential role in Jimi's music as an artist. Red House marks the blues portion of the album. It's not the low 8 bars as usual. It's 12 bars instead.

Gypsy Eyes is a mystical blues song. Another which is clearly an influential force for Jimi. Think Robert Johnson, Fats Domino, and Muddy Waters. It the usual 12 bars Blues instead.

The listening experience for this particular album was rather enjoyable. All of the songs are quite memorable which will have a heavy impact on your memory thus leaving long lasting memories. Countless musicians have influenced Jimi Hendrix to compose this great album. Rock and Blues are the most prevalent genres to describe the album. The live instrumentation is what makes The Ultimate Experience an excellent exclusive classic masterpiece. This album marks the ultimate experience in Jimi Hendrix music career. Music by Jimi Hendrix never grows old.

I rate this album, The Ultimate Experience, 5/5*****!!
