How Austin Task Incorporated is one of the very few business willing to hire individuals with disabilities.

ATI is one of the very few businesses out there willing to hire individuals with disabilities. ATI primarily focuses on hiring individuals with disabilities find work. The company itself operates as a fully self-supporting entity and employs 90 disabled workers in the secure document destruction industry. The company is proud to work with these committed individual and other conscientious professionals. Bill Cameron, Andrew Cole, and James Driscoll have committed themselves to such responsibilities. ATI hires individuals with intellectual disabilities as well as physical disabilities.

Many businesses in a capitalist society do not hire individuals with disabilities because individuals with disabilities need extra attention, more on-site job training, and simply cannot complete desired tasks mandated by businesses. Many businesses owners are very indifferent towards hiring individuals with disabilities because of the lack of understanding, lack of awareness, lack of acceptance, intolerance, standard social stigma, ignorance, training and stupidity. Hiring individuals with special needs is hard to do the way a capitalist society is programmed. It’s businesses such as ATI, Randall’s, Goodwill, Half Price Books, HEB, and Cafe Americano that individuals with disabilities depend on for employment and desperately need.

Austin Task Incorporated was founded by William Cameron (Bill Cameron) in 1994 in Austin, Texas. (Austin Task Incorporated is known as ATI.) ATI started out as a cleaning janitorial services company for government buildings as a non-profit organization. Overtime they expanded their services to include shredding and secure documentation destruction. In 2005, ATI included shredding to their list of services provided. The company later expanded their services into cities such as Houston, San Antonio, and Atlanta. Also, ATI has locations in US states such as Louisiana and Arkansas. Mainly ATI operates in the state of Texas and Arkansas. ATI is a government contractor as well.

In 2011, James Vandy Cameron, Sr., bought out ATI for $3 million dollars and sold the company to James E. Driscoll. In the same year, ATI discontinued their janitorial services and focused more on their document shredding services. Their shredding duties overshadowed their janitorial services eventually shifting their focus onto document shredding. The organization's primary business is shredding these days. ATI performs secure data destruction services including document shredding for businesses and the general public. ATI has included electronically media destruction to their list of services provided. The company ATI continues to provide excellence service to the government and community. James S. Driscoll and Andrew Cole both services as president for the company.

Their location is 7305-B Burleson Road, Austin, Texas, US 78744.
