Mixerr Album Reviews #870

This is Michael Mixerr. In this particular album review, I am going to be reviewing Carcass - Surgical Steel.

Carcass as a rock band appears to be a virtuoso band in the heavy metal sub-genre. The words used in their vocabulary is such advanced intelligent language. It's truly a wonder whether they are a rock band or not. The band has studied up on their vocabulary making themselves into educated citizens full of knowledge, intelligence, and wisdom. Surgical Steel seems to be SAW inspired because the album cover itself is similar to a scene similarly seen in a horror film. That's no coincidence because the Surgical Steel album cover was composed by Walker and based on an original concept by Martin Nesbitt. The layout was designed by Rob Kimura. It also seems that the band Carcass was inspired by horror films when the songwriters composed/wrote this album.

Thrasher's Abattoir is a declaration of war with vigorous anger powered vocabulary to describe the brutalization and damnification of absolute slaughter in war. People die in war from mutilation, suffocation, strangulation, and brutalization during casualties of war.

Cold blooded passion with dehumanizing filth is the best term to describe the song Cadaver Pouch Conveyor System. The hazardous toxic mist gives this particular song a brooding vibe while the pink mist gives away an eerie feeling appropriate for a horror film. Pain is the best sentence describing the song.

A Congealed Clot of Blood is about bloodshed of jihad warfare. Things turn into a state of bloody dystopia. We discover nothing but human bloodshed during a state of bloody dystopia from jihadist warfare. False imam is all in the great prophet's name. Profit of rage is the jihadist black flag from which a dark standard is raised. It means permission for an all out war. Infinite human conflict without resolution for tranquility or a peace treaty occurs. Just monotony.

When it comes to cleaning The Master Butcher's Apron, the blood never dries. Of all the butchers maligned, the sun never sets. Meaning that a butchers job is never done. There is always meat products to process. Slaughtered is a fruitless sacrifice after all. Contagious diseases contaminating meat is similar to maggots colonizing The Carcass band questions official positions of government such as the monarchy and empire. This murderous monarchy is what Carcass is after. Recollections of the past have been revisited and tainted. We are bound by our own past. The Master Butcher's Apron is dedicated to all fallen soldiers.

Impressions of despair and disorientation is the best sentence best for describing Noncompliance to ASTM F899-12 Standard. Carcass describes themselves as virtuosos of the visceral. The exhausted cycle of death what this one is all about. References to abortion are made into death. It's the way we all decay. All flesh of life will eventually decay. We are bound in heartless exuberance.

Granulating Dark Satanic Mills is another song about the cycle of death. Many references to satanism are pointed out by the band. Grim tales are told in story form and retrospect. We are servants of existence. We exist to serve. Service is our means of existence.

316L Grade Surgical Steel 316L is about a lovers betrayal. There is no true love in this relationship. Only varying degrees of wanted lust. Love is a void similar to a wound in the chest. Always love the ones you hurt because they love you back.  There is no true love. Grade Surgical Steel has many references to abortion. Take the verse "Tenderized twelve ounces of flesh" for instance.

Captive Bolt Pistol is yet again another song that is death themed. After reading the lyrics to this song, it seems to be similar reading a medical procedure from a medical textbook at Seton Hospital or Bellevue Hospital. The lyrics seems to be similar to a medical procedure for lobotomy. The details are increasingly disturbing after 20 seconds into the song. Impressions of despair and disorientation is the best sentence best for describing Captive Bolt Pistol as was to Noncompliance to ASTM F899-12 Standard. Both songs are similarly disturbing and graphic in nature.

Mount of Execution details to us about the gathering corpse storm of hell awaiting us. Many of these details are very grim otherwise. It’s a dark mobilization towards darkness and an aphasic horizon. A reign of terror is about to be unleashed on you. Final judgement has arrived.

While the listening experience would be considered disturbing inhumane for most, the album is interestingly unique. Surgical Steel is an unusual virtuoso heavy metal album in the name of rock. Songs sung wholeheartedly are truly grim. All of the songs are considered disturbing and graphic in nature. Nuclear Blast and Carcass never fail to disappoint! The words used in their vocabulary is such advanced language considered intelligent. It's truly a wonder to know whether they are a rock band or not.

I rate this album, Surgical Steel, 5/5*****!!
