Singer–songwriter and former lead singer of Shalamar Howard Hewett released his self-titled album on Elektra in 1990 on Elektra. This album featured the hit singles "Show Me" and "If I Could Only Have That Day Back". At the very end of this album, Howard Hewett showcased his religious side with songs such as Jesus and The Ten Commandments of Love. After all, Jesus was the most religious song off the album. The title was a dead giveaway. The Howard Hewett album is seriously a melodic masterpiece with good soul music. Howard Hewett fans believe this is best solo album.
