Mixerr Album Reviews #1,128

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Papa Reu - Xcuse Me!.

Most remember his Rastafarian flow on the choruses on other Cash Money Records reggae inspired songs such as the Big Tymers' "Stunnin," Hot Boys' "Shoot First," and Lil Wayne's "Not Like Me." Papa Reu has dropped one fire ass firme album. He even appeared with Cash Money Millionaires on their Cash Money Millionaires 2000 Tour. The Xcuse Me! album is a stellar solid album worth listening to. The production value is where the album truly shines.

Shine showcases his skills as an emcee (MC). The beats and lyrics themselves are original. The Shine track is a mixture of reggae and New Orleans bounce music since it was produced by Mannie Fresh. Shine is a glitz track that has a mellow flow.

Nah Mean concentrates on materialism since it was written during the bling-bling era. The beats are original. Beats are where the production truly shines. The lyrics, well, not so much.

Diamonds & Pearls is a mellow reggae song about how to treat a woman right. To treat a woman right is by giving her diamonds and pearls. That’s how everybody wanna be down with their women. Diamonds & Pearls has the tightest flows.

I rate this album, Xcuse Me!, 5/5*****!
