Mixerr Album Reviews #1,155

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Lil Raskull - The Benediction.

The Benediction by Lil Raskull was packaged as a limited edition album as The Benediction album was an indie release. The Benediction came out in 2005/2017 on CD. As an album, The Benediction is specifically aimed at the Christian music market which is exactly why this particular Lil Raskull album is so hard to come by and is considered a collectors item among Christian music and gospel fans. Hardcore Lil Raskull fans should buy this album.

One Nation is about staying true to yourself by saying what you mean and meaning what you say. Lil Raskull showcases the gift of gab on One Nation. Lil Raskull gets truthful on I Can’t Lie. He has remorse for all the wrongs and sins he committed in life. Eyes Wide Shut has a dark powerful vibe with a heavy bass ridden line. Eyes Wide Shut sheds light on the dark truth of reality itself. Bang is a remix of Bang from the Streets Are White album that dropped the same year as this album. The musical arrangements have been altered heavily. Do Dem is a futuristic sounding track with a heavy pultruding bass line pulsating in the background. Interesting selection of electro blips from the keyboard.

Too Much is a truthful autobiographical track written by Lil Raskull himself. Lil Raskull showcases how he has too much life to live and how he obtains so mush wisdom to not give it all way. Basically Lil Raskull showcases how exactly he has too much to loose in his life. Lil Raskull won’t stop until he reaches the top.

Lil Raskull gets religious on the prestigious track Trust God. On this track, Lil Raskull tells us not to loose hope or faith, but to trust God. He wants the listener to put all their hope and faith towards God. You can hear some Christian disciples cited if you listen closely. Trust God is appropriate for an album titled The Benediction. Christian music fans will appreciate this track.

I rate this album, The Benediction, 5/5*****!
