Mixerr Album Reviews #1,239

This is Michael Mixerr. I am going to review Lil Goldwell - Melody Fair for an album review.

A comfortable Western-style album cover helps the album give off that adult contemporary feel. In other words, Melody Fair is an adult contemporary music album similar to soft rock from the 1960s and 1970s. Soft rock meets J-Pop on this album. Melody Fair is one of those albums that will carefully help adults hold onto memories of their youth. The Melody Fair album is a Western-style cover album as well. The music is beautifully produced with the backtrack and backing of multiple choruses. Melody Fair is one of those albums that is cherished by everyone. Lil Goldwell released this album on Victor Entertainment in 2006.

Lil Goldwell is a pop duo from Fukugawa, Japan that specializes in J-Pop. Lil Goldwell is a pop duo consisted of members Akira and KG. Akira is in charge of the vocals while KG is in charge of compositions, musical arrangements, songwriting, and vocals.

愛のコリーダ (Ai No Corrida) is an adult contemporary love song. Ai No Corrida (愛のコリーダ) means corridor of love in Japanese. Akira is in charge of the vocals while KG is in charge of the musical arrangements.

Melody Fair is a love song that is a small love melody. KG is in charge of the musical arrangements and songwriting for this composition. Melody Fair has a soft opening with an angelic presence.

Groovin’ is a peppy song with an upbeat melody. The piano accompanies the upbeat melody. Production is smooth and angelic. Here we find the Lil Goldwell band groovin’ on a Sunday afternoon. What could be better than that?

Glory of Love is obviously another love song by Lil Goldwell. The song Glory of Love teaches us not be afraid of our heart.

If I Fell is a Queen-esque love song sung in a similar style of Queen with backing of multiple choruses. If I Fell is something quite similar you would hear from Queen or expect from them.

Detroit Rock City is an adult contemporary cover of KISS - Detroit Rock City. The percussion is accompanied by a soft grand piano which follow the slow melody of this KISS cover song. A mixture of electronic music is added into production along with a doo-wop chorus. Melody of Detroit Rock City is soft and slow.

I rate this album, Melody Fair, 4/5****!
