Short history of Hoyt School in Saginaw, Michigan nearly forgotten.

Hoyt School was an elementary school that once existed in Saginaw, Michigan. The "Old Academy" from 1852 was built by the township on the site of the Hoyt School. Hoyt School was built in 1872 with six classrooms for 325 students.  That was the original plan. The school opened in November 1872. The school was enlarged in 1892. Room was added for 400 students. Hoyt School was demolished in 1971. St. Mary's Hospital helipad is located where Hoyt School once was.

Hoyt School was located at 303 Hoyt Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan, US 48607.
