Sanger School was founded in 1879 by brothers George Sanger and Charles Sanger. Sanger School operated as a 1-8 school for grades 1-8. It was a 1-7 school by the 20th century. Sanger School closed in 1950. Now Sanger School was one of those schools that closed due to low enrollment. Its students were sent elsewhere after the school closed.
