Lil Black shows maturity as an artist.

Lil Black believes that his growth and maturity as an artist time has come. What with his albums Disrespectful and Blaq Roze, he has since matured as an artist since the early 2000s. Both Disrespectful and Blaq Roze stand out respectively.

Lil Black believes that his growth and maturity as an artist time has come what with his 2014 online movie called I’m Sorry which can be viewed online at YouTube. Lil Black now goes under rap alias Victor Newman. Lil Black claims, “I am a new man.” . He no longer is the same person he once was.

For those who don't know or remember, Lil Black (Nathan Mackey Jr.) was raised in Elgin which is a small country town outside of Austin, Texas. He had 2 records on the "Texas Artist Top 40 Countdown" back in 2000 and 2001 with Back On The Road being one of them.

Back On The Road was Song of the Year for 2000 as well as holding down the number 1 spot for 5 straight weeks. For those of you who remember or are from Austin, you all may remember that Back On The Road featured famous country musician Willie Nelson.

Rapper Lil Black had told the story of his life story and how he shamed his family by choosing the street life which made the front page of Austin American Statesman in 2001 along with Elgin Courier.

Lil Black's first and only album, On The Road Again, hit #79 and #81 the BillBoard in 2001. This was when it first hit the charts.  Lil Black was the first Austin Hip Hop/Rap artists to hit the BillBoard minus Papa Chuk and Bad Mutha Goose.
