Mixerr Album Reviews #1,621

Now the Buckingham Nicks duo consists of Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks who are members of the Fleetwood Mac band. Without A Leg To Stand On was only available on vinyl and released in 1973 on the Polydor label.

This Buckingham Nicks single is filled with folk music fans of Fleetwood Mac would enjoy. You can feel the rawness of folk music when you listen to this Buckingham Nicks single. 70s folk music had such rawness to it.

Without a Leg to Stand On was written by Lindsey Buckingham. This song is about Lindsey's musical ambitions and his choice for personal freedom. His quest for personal freedom is what drove him to write this song. The song was written from the perspective of a young man. Constantly facing rejection while being a musician can be demoralizing. His drive, motivation, and ambition really stand out on this song.

The song touches on his personal relationships such as relationship with his family and his relationship with Stevie Nicks. Most of his relationships mentioned in the song are with the people he loves. You can feel a strong sense of commitment and passion in the lyrics.

Stephanie is a beautiful delicate song. The song was written by both Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks in the year of 1973. The song was most likely recorded on an Ampex 4 track machine. The sound is very pure and beautiful.

Legend has it Lindsey Buckingham named the song after Stevie Nicks as a romantic gesture. Many Stevie Nicks fans think that. Their love was all they had at this time. Their love started forming.

I rate this single, Without A Leg To Stand On, 5/5*****!!
