Blood Incantation - Astral Spells is a gruesome hardcore rock album/EP filled with gruesome dark songs. The song titles alone by themselves indicate that the album has a dark mood to it. The album is filled with negative music. The album itself is similar to Cannibal Corpse, Killborn, or Carcass. The album was pressed on a red cassette with a limited amount of copies pressed. Only 100 copies were pressed. It was released in March 2014. The album itself is a demo which is why there are only 4 songs.

Mephitic Effluvia is a song about foul smelling odors which are unpleasant or harmful. Mephitic means foul smelling and effluvia is a word used to describe a an unpleasant or harmful odor along with secretion.
The area reeks of plague and decaying lifeless bodies. Limbless horror radiates the fetid reek of plague where these celestial bodies decay. The aura is suffocating. It’s much worse than any funeral you have ever been to. Tides of blood described were for sacrifice. Born of blood and starspawn.
The Vth Tablet (Of Enûma Eliš) was recorded live in 2013 by the band during a live session. The song describes bacterial remains of humans on a distant planet where voids of eternal night unfurl beneath glares of stars burning.
