RCA Records and Sony has now officially dropped R. Kelly from their labels. This R&B star has been accused of decades of sexual misconduct numerous times. It was due to his sexual misconduct and lack of charting sales that Sony dropped R. Kelly. The television documentary series that drew national attention called Surviving R. Kelly was the final nail in the coffin for his reputation.
Allegations have been made against R. Kelly for over 2 decades. He was acquitted for child pornography charges back in 2008 and beat a rape case in 2010. So this is nothing new of sorts.Honestly no one is buying new R. Kelly music in 2019. Most of his recent albums have failed to reach gold status. His newer albums only sell in the hundred thousands.
It’s official. R. Kelly, Jon Connor, and Donald Trump are the peeboys of 2019. R. Kelly is a peeboy.
