Mixerr Album Reviews #1,684

Brother’s Disco - Thumpin is possibly the first record of both Houston rap and Houston hip hop. The record was  released as a 7 inch vinyl on Clay James’ label Jus-Fresh Records in 1981 which is predates Rap A Lot and is the first rap label from Houston, Texas. Brother’s Disco - Thumpin is a pretty rare 45 to own and can be considered as a gem. Thumpin is a funky hip hop/rap song which uses a bass guitar to blend in the flavor of the funkiness. The bass line is funky as well. The song is about dancing and having a good time. Pin Thumpin is a remix of the song Thumpin.

I rate this single, 5/5*****!!
