The Follow The Road album from The Dunwells has songs from their previous album Blind Sighted Faith such as Only You, Goodnight My City, Hand That Feeds, and So Beautiful. Perfect Timing and Saving Grace are new songs. Country rock meets alternative rock on this album of theirs. However this album is the UK Edition of Blind Sighted Faith, but just released under a different title. This album was released by the well known Austin, Texas record label Playing In Traffic Records in 2013.
Only You is a gentle heartfelt song of when every time you think of someone. It could someone you know or someone you love dearly. Every time you are crying you think of person. You would rather be escaping from the truth. It's only yourself you are blaming. It's you who changed the lanes and crashed down hard. You crashed and burned real hard. But things are getting easier now. You drink the pain away.
Follow the Road is a song about getting to face the truth. The song is short and the lyrics are simple. The message of this song is to get up and face the truth. Life is up to you. Just go forward. Time heals everything. As the sun goes down we carry on regardless. Follow the road, my friend.
Saving Grace is a country rock song with a religious feeling. The band performs wonderfully on Saving Grace. This song is one of their most overlooked songs. Fans slept on this song of theirs.
I rate this album, 5/5*****!
