Mixerr Album Reviews #1,709

Something In The Fog is a collection of flute songs performed by Robert Mirabal. He released this album of his on cassette in 1988. The album was released independently in the town of Taos, New Mexico. His Native American Indian flute music is soothing to the ears and will ease your soul. Which is what the soothing sound of the flute does.

Song Carrier is a classic flute song among Robert Mirabal fans. Many fans will recognize this flute song as a timeless classic which never gets old. This song would later reappear on his 1995 compilation album Song Carrier which was released by Silver Wave Records and Musical Transformations, Inc.

The mood is subtle and soothing in nature. That is why the tempo of this Robert Mirabal flute song is very slow tempo to say the least. Song Carrier can be a great meditation aid. Most of this flute song is perform in the key of A Major and A# Major similar to 2A in guitar chords.

Whisper - Mir is a song he thought of and wrote in the summer of 1987 while he was on a trip in Russia. The song was dedicated to all the friends he made in the American-Soviet Peace Walk. Mir means peace in Russian. The song is whisper peace on earth.

Isidro’s Song was based on the death of Robert Mirabal’s grandfather Juan Isidro Mirabal who died on October 17, 1987. The song deals with the struggle to grow old. You can feel a sense of frustration, anxiety, and pain in this song when you listen to it.

Wake’s Wake is about being released from pain. It’s release from pain.

I rate this album, 5/5*****!!
