Short history behind Central Fairmount Public School bka Central Fairmount Elementary School explored by Mixerr Reviews.

Central Fairmount Elementary School was built as Central Fairmount Elementary School in 1905. The school was used until a newer school was constructed next to it on the same property in 1930. (Ref: http://www.cincinnativiews.net/schools_3.htm)

Central Fairmount Elementary School was used as temporary housing for Quebec Heights Elementary School from 2010 to 2012.  Cincinnati Public Schools had gone through with a multi-billion dollar renovation bond with the construction of new facilities along renovation to the older facilities. Quebec Heights Elementary School relocated into a new building in 2012. The school closed permanently in June 2012. Cincinnati Public Schools put the building up for auction on the date of 11/6/2012.   1. CPS shouldn’t have never closed this school down as it was one of the best CPS schools in Cincinnati. Loved this school and to just see the building sit there inactive just hurts
