Flint Gospel Assembly Church is one of the many forgotten churches of Flint, Michigan that has been long forgotten. The history of this church has not been very well preserved. Not too much history is known or can be found out. Similar to Roosevelt Free Methodist Church and Flint Second Church.
Flint Gospel Assembly Church was organized and established near the Civic Park neighbor of Flint sometime during the 19th century. The address for Flint Gospel Assembly Church was 606 West Dayton Street right across from Dayton Food Market. Verner Nelson moved Nelson Dairy to 614 West Dayton Street (now 2412 Dupont Street). Their expansion displaced Flint Gospel Assembly Church next door at 606 West Dayton Street. After Flint Gospel Assembly Church disbanded, Verner Nelson had the church building demolished and property transferred to his business.
