Their demo album was released on cassette in 1992 in limited quantities around the Flint, Michigan area. Only so many copies of this demo album exist. The exact number of copies pressed are unknown but surely the amount of copies pressed up is not in the thousands. Today the album is extremely rare album and is difficult to find.
Now this demo has 18 tracks and not 16 tracks as most people would have you believe. The versions of this album that you see online that pop up from time to time that contain 16 tracks are bootlegs.
The sad reality is that hardly anyone remembers or respects the legacy of King Hood Cykoz anymore. Unfortunately people have started disrespecting the group King Hood Cykoz. There seems to a lot of hate directed towards remaining members of the group for whatever reasons may be. The legacy of King Hood Cykoz has been long overlooked.
What’s also sad is when people mention King Hood Cykoz, they only mention Leathaface (Bruce Moore) or Lucifer (Marc Steele). Not Titan Kill-A-Gram, Lunatic, Maniac, or J Roc. People don’t hardly mention Titan enough. Titan was the best lyricist of them all. Him, Leathaface, Lunatic, and Marc Steele stood out. Their engineer DJ Clay admitted, “They’re way ahead of their time.”
Fairytalez of a Problem Child is the song where Leathaface performs a freestyle with Dr. Jekyll aka J Roc. DJ Clay produced and engineered the song Leathaface at Boomin’ Studios. The song was recorded in 1992 and re-recorded in 1993.
Leathaface tells us at the beginning he’s going to kick a fresh freestyle for you hoes out there. He’s with Dr. Jeykll on this one.
His brother Bobby Hall is a player who is into sports. Bobby’s a gangster too. He is a dopeman who loves to oot. His cousin Donnie Mayer on Foss Avenue is the same way as he is a player. They love to play pool games while sipping on tanqueray.
The ghetto is a cold place. Out here it’s a ghetto hell. Leathaface is a problem child. Leathaface goes onto rap about the insanity which runs in his family. He robbed a 7-11 store with Ira Dorsey’s Big Mac 11. That’s how it went down.
Ira Dorsey’s Big Mac 11 is a reference to a song called Big Mac 11 which came from The Dayton Family demo cassette which was released locally around Flint only in 1992. Big Mac 11 was a song Ira Dorsey (Bootleg) wrote and performed with Shoestring.
Dr. Jekyll is having problems as he running out of time. Murder is what is on his dark deranged mind. He can feel somebody watching him through the window. Could it be demons out there trying to kill him? Something is moving against his window pane. Is it a shadow or is he going insane? He called up Dwonne Daylove from Variety of Sinz for help.
Dr. Jekyll is having problems and now he is on the run from police. He is going for broke killing cops with his shotgun. A woman’s throat got sliced in the process. He drug her body into a ditch. The basement is where Dr. Jekyll goes to shoot cocaine. He’s all alone down there.
J Roc aka Randy J gives shout outs as the track ends.
Now the song would have been a good Leathaface solo without J Roc. Bruce Moore stands out by himself due to his bravado and attitude. The two of them make great music regardless.
Down On Death Street is a prime example of gangsta rap at its finest. Reality rap over heavy beats. Not to mention explicit lyrics. J Roc appeared again on Down On Death Street. DJ Clay produced the beats.
J Roc introduces himself at the beginning. He recorded this song in with King Hood Cykoz at Boomin Studios. He tells us King Hood Cykoz is going to take us through ghetto hell.
It’s a journey on Death Street. The killer is back again creeping down Death Street with uzi’s and Mac 10s. Getting ready to start some shit. Marc Steele, Lunatic, Maniac, and J Roc are from straight from ghetto hell. Cykoz don’t play that shit down on Death Street.
Leathaface fires up another joint. Bitches are on his dick. Leathaface spots a vice cop whilst rolling down Martin Luther King Avenue. His pockets were full of rocks. Pook had his glock. All the windows suddenly get rolled down and a driveby ensues. Marc Steele made the getaway and turned down Death Street. Some niggaz wanted to beef. Of course Leathaface packs that heavy heat.
His eyes were bloody red from all the weed he smoked. Murder was on his mind. He went to the liquor store and copped himself a fifth (1/5) of gin. The visions inside his head made him want to commit a sin.
Leathaface can be frequently found on Grace Street selling ounces of crack cocaine. He packs heavy steel while on Grace Street. Grace Street is a street in the King neighborhood (King Hood) where drug dealers and all the hustlers sold their product(s) and boom weight. Jake The Flake, Bootleg, Chat Chat, and Shoestring used to boom weight and sell product on Grace Street.
Lunatic is back. Call him Baby Scarface because he’s down with that crazy shit. Living like a pack rat. He sold dope to a female drug fiend. In the process he beat her ass and took his crack back. So basically he assaulted her. Lunatic is one crazy motherfucker who is down with the NOS and VOS (Variety of Sinz). Never in that gang shit.
Lunatic gives respect and homage to TDF (The Dayton Family), VOS, King Hood Cykoz, and AMG all while giving a shout out at the 2:11 mark in the song. This makes sense since TDF is from King Hood and ran in the same social circles as Lunatic did along with King Hood Cykoz and Variety of Sinz.
He is selling crack and breaking backs. Of course Lunatic was known for selling crack in the city of Flint at the time especially in the underground black market. He is headed for Grace Street. Lunatic spots a vice cop. The vice cop is getting sprayed with bullets. A journey through his hood will get your ass on the front page of the newspaper. Lunatic is insane as he comes from a ghetto hell. He is a maniac on the loose.
He is headed towards Da Spot which was a night club in Flint that was popular in the 1990s and 2000s. Da Spot was located at 2409 Dupont Street. That’s the spot Lunatic is referring to. Already some niggaz want to squabble. These niggaz don’t want none as Lunatic rolls with a ghetto mob. They still are talking shit. What they don’t know is that they are fucking with a maniac named Lunatic.
Now he’s rolling down MLK (Martin Luther King Avenue) and he choked on a Billy Blunt. He shoots at the squad car that is behind him.
Life Iz A Gamble is a song laced with fury and aggression. You can hear the anger inside their lyrics as you listen to this song. The song deals with how things go when people go for broke. Life is a gamble when you fuck with a cyko.
Life Iz A Gamble is a song perfect enough to get ooted or high to due to the soulful rhythmic nature. The song uses a mid tempo soul sample. 70s soul meets 90s gangsta rap. The soul sample which was used in this King Hood Cykoz song is what made the mood seem to be not as aggressive or brash.
The song uses a multitude of samples selected by DJ Clay and King Hood Cykoz. The song uses a multitude of samples from rap, soul, and rock. The song Life Is A Gamble was inspired by gangsta rap hence the Ice Cube samples used during the hook.
The song starts with Leathaface and T-Gram sitting in a basement getting ooted. Nothing has changed since 1992. (At least in Flint.) All the same people are struggling and striving just to make it through the day and make it through life. Youngsters are steady trying to get rich. People are fighting over simple things.
Leathaface hustles on Grace Street as he never had shit. He had to go for broke. That’s why he never hesitates to hustle people for their money. Life is a gamble when you fuck with a cyko.
Lunatic has a quick verse in the song. He disses MC Breed.
Lunatic is chilling down on Grace Street smoking blunts. Niggaz want to start a bloodbath with the psychopath named Lunatic. He’s just like Scarface sending niggaz to the morgue. It’s just a test to see who’s running Flint Town. The war is on so Lunatic packs heat.
Now at the 2:20 duration mark is where things start to get interesting as that is where Lufica finishes off the song with some raps of his. He is tired of people talking shit about his group called King Hood Cykoz. The beat switches from the soul sample to Zapp - More Bounce To The Ounce.
At the 2:58 duration mark is where Lufica dissed MC Breed, Here is what he rapped:
How many MC’s do you know that can kick a fresh ass verse?
Damn. It’s kind of strange when you’re making your shit
When Eric Breed dropped his album, niggaz jumped on his dick
And for what?
To me that nigga can’t flow worth shit
There ain’t no future in your frontin’
Yeah
Fuck you bitch
At the 3:06 duration mark is where Lufica dissed Selby Hood. Here is what he rapped:
And you niggaz down in Selby, you need to quit
How the fuck are you going to play us with that ganked out shit?
You motherfuckers piss me off with the records you’re making
Now you’re sitting here looking stupid because you didn’t get paid
That’s the best that you got
I suggest you quit
Black
If you step to me, you ass will get ransacked
You know my shit is bumping
My rhyme comes equipped like a ‘do it yourself kit’
Now here is how the first part of Lufica’s verse went.
And you niggaz down in Selby, you need to quit
How the fuck are you going to play us with that ganked out shit?
You motherfuckers piss me off with the records you’re making
Now you’re sitting here looking stupid because you didn’t get paid
That’s the best that you got
I suggest you quit
Black
If you step to me, you ass will get ransacked
You know my shit is bumping
My rhyme comes equipped like a ‘do it yourself kit’
So step up to me, G
If you think you can battle me
Here is why King Hood Cykoz dissed Selby Hood.
Selby Hood had a lot of neighborhood rivalries in the city of Flint at that time and were rivals with King Hood during the 90s as well as the 80s. King Hood is GD territory (Gangsta Disciples aka GDs). Selby Hood is Vice Lord territory (VLs). GD’s and Bloods (VLs) often beef due to being from different sides of the rag.
Selby Hood and King Hood have beefing for a lot of years. It’s basically gang politics. It’s the not-so-glorifying side of criminal activity and gang activity.
What stands out about this song is the diss aimed at MC Breed. That stands out because no other rap groups or rappers dissed MC Breed on wax, tape, or CD in the 1980s or 1990s. That alone makes the song intriguing.
Now the song Leatherface is a repetitive interlude which uses looped vocal samples over ultra-thick bass and guitar notes. One of the looped vocal samples can be heard all over the interlude which gets tiresome very quickly. That vocal sample is “Leatherface the maniac nut case”. The song is worth skipping.
Say Goodbye To The Bad Guy I is a cop killer type of track with an electro-synth laced soundscape. A lot of loops seem to have placed onto this song of theirs.
Back on a killing spree. Leathaface is a born killa. Don’t fuck around with the Flint Town Vice killa. Leathaface is a nigga from King Hood. Don’t think about catching him. He won’t hesitate to put a cop in a grave. Leathaface is ooted up from the pack and is smoking a quarter ounce.
He went downtown to pay the rent to his dopehouse. Then he went back to his set in King Hood to push weight and oot his yayo. Leathaface raps “I’ll never hesitate to put a cop in a grave/Pass me glock so I can kill me a vice cop” He spots a vice cop. This vice cop finding for a blow. Police will never catch a criminal minded crook. The cop took Bruce as a joke and now the cop lays dead.
Maniac and Lunatic are quick to let the bullets go. Leathaface has got a Mac-10 to put cops to sleep. He is feeling rigid and tense. It’s to the point where he’s drinking brew and smoking fry. (Fry is pcp for those who don’t know.) A vice cop is dead. So say goodbye to the bad guy.
Dr. Jekyll is causing trouble. He’s got them bitches smoking dope. Don’t fuck around with a King Hood Cyko. Police know he’s selling dope. Fiends are at his door. It’s a shame that a young nigga is always on the edge of something. Living in a shell. Thinking of the shiesty shit that has been pulled. Folks been fooled.
Ghetto Hell is about how the dope game (drug game) is run in King Hood. The song also deals with the perils and hardships of living in King Hood. Ghetto Hell is similar to Livin In Kinghood and Nightmare In Kinghood. The song is mainly about daily life in the ghetto.
Ghetto Hell is a posse cut which features all members. Leathaface, T-Gram, Lunatic, Lucifer, and Marc Steele are on this track. So is Maniac.
Bruce Moore is a gangster on a mission but not one for bitches. He’s on a mission out to get rich like Jake The Flake. He has to kill you snitches out there. You see his beeper and you already know he’s doing business. You’ll ask him about his life. Flint cops downtown think twice before getting in his way.
Bruce Moore is creeping down Dayton Street (Dayton Ave aka Dayton Avenue) in his 64 Impala. Vice cops from F.A.N.G. (Flint Area Narcotics Group) are parked outside by the side of a tree staring at him through a window. Back in the days he used to sell that cocaine but that got him a reputation in the dope game. He already has a reputation in Flint. He’s smoking Billy Blunts which got him acting silly.
A nigga wants to jack him because Bruce jacked him on Philadelphia Boulevard. Bruce packed a 12 gauge. That bum tried to run but he got sprayed with bullets. That nigga tried to play but Bruce won’t the bum play him out of his money. He already has a reputation in Flint.
Niggaz try to play him out but he won’t let that happen. He’ll break your back, take your sack, and sell crack. His set is Dayton Ave (Gangsta Disciples set) and he is down with the maniacs on West McClellan Street known as the W. McClellan Maniacz. He is also down with Kenny Rodgers and Lil Fuji who are part of the W. McClellan Maniacz. He is also down with Maniac.
Bruce Moore disses Selby Hood on Ghetto Hell. Here is what exactly he had said, “but I’m not down with them hoes who said they lick booty”
Selby Hood had a lot of neighborhood rivalries in the city of Flint at that time. Much of their rivalries were gang related. Selby Hood was rivals with King Hood in the 80s and 90s. Selby Hood was Vice Lords (VLs) and King Hood was Gangsta Disciples (GDs). Gangsta Disciples and Vice Lords beef with each other as they are from different sides of the rag.
Selby Hood and King Hood have beefing for a lot of years. It’s over colors and gang related politics of such nature. It’s the not-so-glorifying side of criminal activity and gang activity.
Bruce is a black man who packs a gat. He sees a fiend with fat pockets. Now it’s time to jack. He took his money and bought a kilo. Now he runs a dope house with the mob working for him. It’s not about bragging rights. It’s about the gangster with the most money in their pockets. All these bitches are on his dick because he is in the drug game and rap game. Bruce made a big name for himself in the drug game back in the 90s. He already had a reputation in Flint at the time.
He changed his ways and is getting paid on his own. He is rapping on his own. Don’t try to hide or run because you’re fucking with a nigga worse than Charles Manson. Don’t take any chances. He hears the cops so he’s gotta bail. Now he is back in King Hood known as the ghetto hell.
Now this part of the song is based on a true story. Lucifer, Bruce, and Marc had beef with some Bloods on the South Side of Flint. Lucifer had beef with a nigga named Shay who stayed on the South Side. It was related to gang politics of course. The South Side of Flint is Blood territory. Lucifer was from the North Side of Flint which is Gangsta Disciples (GD) territory. Lucifer and Marc had planned on doing a driveby to get back at them. Titan was the driver of the minivan.
One day Lucifer was creeping down Dayton Street in a minivan rolling 5 deep during Devils Night. Lucifer had a feeling deep down somebody was going to die that night.
The plot was to murder Shay on Devil’s Night. Lucifer had the 9 at hand. So did Bruce. He has a feeling deep down that somebody’s gonna die tonight. It was over something that happened a week ago. Him and Shea got into some shit. When he sees that nigga Shea, he’ll pop that fool. He has some beef with his boys too. Marc Steele has a 12 gauge. Huey has got their back. Lucifer hid behind the back seat of the minivan. Plotting his next move as Shay and his boys were packing heat. They were getting blitzed and sitting around drinking 40’s.
Lunatic is spotted in his Cadillac. He is down with the W. McClellan Maniacz. Lunatic says, “What up?”
Lucifer explains the situation to Bruce and Lunatic and tells them he can handle this himself. He popped that nigga. Lucifer has no plans on going back to the county jail anytime soon. He hears the cops so he’s gotta bail. Now he is back in King Hood known as the ghetto hell.
T-Gram aka Titan raps after Lucifer does. Titan went by the name Bone when this song was written.
T-Gram grabs the keys to his ride and bails. He heard on of his homies fell. He loaded up his gat with just a black rag attached. When those niggaz get him, they’re leaving out in a body bag. He’s ooting cocaine. T-Gram is going thru a thang. In his minivan is where he smoked a j while listening to Going Thru A Thang by The Dayton Family. It’s all about the pleasure of the pain in the hood.
He’s not going to college as he flunked too much in high school. He ditched class because he did not give a damn about his education. Education was not a priority to him at the time. This happens a lot when you are young and dumb. To put things simply, he didn’t give a damn.
Titan sheds light on how his life went into a downward spiral on his verse. His life went into a downward spiral when him and his parents moved from Oak Park, Illinois to Flint, Michigan in 1990. He went from living in a good neighborhood towards living in the ghetto of Flint.
That is what these lyrics mean.:
can’t please Dad
So he tends to get mad
and ask Mom whatever happened to the son we had
You shouldn’t have moved me into no fucking F-l-i-n-t
Now Titan was different from the rest of the members from King Hood Cykoz as he grew up in an abusive household suffering both physical abuse and psychological abuse.
T-Gram is on the run as ain’t no pigs are going to mystify him. He’ll know something is the matter if police are going after him. He’s a nigga smoking fry falling down the fucking ladder. Regardless he is in it to win.
A spoiled person always had too much. T-Gram is not one of those people. He knows where he’s going. T-Gram is on his way to a ghetto hell. It ain’t no joke. He asks “How the fuck do I fight this?”
T-Gram was known as Bone. He was dabbling heavily into cocaine at that time. It was no jock. Titan hears the cops so he’s gotta bail. Now he is back in King Hood known as the ghetto hell.
Marc Steele is back again and is ooted up. He can’t be stopped. All you bitches say hello to Mr. Mac-10. There ain’t no stoppin’ when he’s popping motherfuckers. Motherfuckers droppin’ He kicks the shit you can’t fuck with. His spot is hot much like Bruce’s dope house. He’s fucking bitches and leaving them in ditches. Killing niggaz over dope is what he also does.
Fuck the cops. Lucifer has no plans on going back to the county jail anytime soon. He shows no signs of quitting anytime soon. Selling cocaine out on the corner is how he pays his rent. He went from rocks to riches as he sold dope from a dope house. Goin for broke is what he did. He’s fucking bitches and leaving niggaz in stitches. The shit he is going through is so legit. Killing niggaz over dope is what he does. Marc wants respect.
He never furthered his education past the 8th grade. This was because Marc thought school was stupid. Marc grew up poor. He often had no money or food.
He has seen a cop. So he had to pop (shoot) that cop. Nobody’s stopping shit. Who the fuck are you stepping to? Marc hopes you pack a gat or some other type of heat. Kiss your ass goodbye! You’re fixing to die. This is what you get for talking all that horse shit. You better run and hide!
Marc robbed (jacked) a dope fiend for cocaine. Money and cocaine were stolen. Then he started to panic because he saw people coming after him. So he grabs his uzi. Killing them all is what he plans on doing. A Mac-11 is his new strategy. Flint is his city.
Marc called up his brother Torrey Player and told him what the deal was. He said, “Hold your horses. I’ll be right there in a minute, cuz.” He hung the phone up afterwards. Someone attempts to stick up Marc. He’s pissed because this motherfucker is about to take everything he has. Fuck that shit. Marc loaded up the .9 mm and blew his tonsils out. Blood was everywhere.
You see, Marc is a trigger happy motherfucker coming straight out of Flint. Selling cocaine out on the corner is how he pays his rent. You don’t know anything about him. So keep your mouth shut. How will you understand where Marc has been if you yourself have not been there yet? You haven’t walked in his shoes. He hears the cops so he’s gotta bail. Now he is back in King Hood known as the ghetto hell.
The song ends with shout outs to all the homies from Flint.
Ghetto Hell samples Jake The Flake - Goin Way Out, Run DMC - Rock Box, and The Dayton Family - Flint Town.
Nightmare In King Hood is a fictional tale about what night terrors lurk in the King neighborhood (King Hood) of Flint, Michigan. This song is also about incarcerated Criminal Background member and serial killer Ronnie Johns.
The song gets quite terrifying. Of course it’s some dark horrorcore type of shit. DJ Clay produced, arranged, and engineered the song at Boomin’ Studios in 1993. The artists who rapped on Nightmare In Kinghood were HMD from Variety of Sinz, Marc Steele, and Leathaface.
Now in the beginning of the song is where things take a graphic turn. This is where things start to get violent. In the nightmare of King Hood, there are dead bodies are found in Bruce Moore’s basement. Evidently these dead bodies were from the aftermath of a bloodbath which occurred on Dayton Ave (Dayton Street). There is a razor blade on the table. Bruce is losing his mind as he is high as fuck off of cocaine as he searches for a new knife. His nose is froze.
Back on Dayton Ave, Bruce is at the sight of a bloodbath. His neighborhood (King Hood) is always talking about Ronnie Johns the .44 caliber killer. He wonders about Demeshio Wilson. That is what the lyrics “What About Demeshio Wilson?/This nigga ain’t got it all” mean. People know he does not have a lot. He doesn’t have it all.
Demeshio Wilson was one of Ronnie Johns friends who he committed his crimes with way back in the day. Him and Demetrius Rawls knew each other.
Bruce makes references to Ronnie Johns and Demetrius Rawls. This is reference to the August 1991 murder of Lucille Bowie and Demetrius Rawls that occurred on Grand Traverse Street near 11th Street in Flint, Michigan. Ronnie Johns killed Lucille Bowie and Demetrius Rawls in a drug deal gone bad. Cocaine had taken over the small town by then. Also Bruce Moore makes reference to Demishio Wilson. He was a person who frequently hung around Ronnie Johns.
He is always in trouble as he wasn’t to go out some more. He went down on Stockdale Boulevard to rob a ghetto store. Bruce thinks about robbing somebody. He is killing his friends and foes with the mind of a mental patient. He has a vision of clearly death. Don’t try to run for your gat because you’re getting your head cracked.
Back on the streets is where Maniac is breaking sacks. Don’t try to run for your yac because you’re getting your head cracked. So don’t call for the police. Don’t try to run for help. Maniac and Bruce are on the loose!
Bruce Moore refers to himself as a lunatic who is packing a .44. He is up to no good as he is killing bitches and snitches. Only when Bruce gets rich is when he will go legit like Jake The Flake. It’s nightmare in King Hood.
Lucifer’s verse is next.
Lucifer was the motherfucker who shot you through the window. Little do you know that he was smoking on that endo. He was the motherfucker who shot you through the window. Which is what the lyrics “Little do you know that I was smoking endo/I’m the motherfucker who shot you through the window/At times it makes me misbehave” mean.
People want to shoot and fight every night in King Hood. Lucifer and Leathaface are kicking it with Marc Steele and Lunatic. Ooting cocaine makes Leathaface misbehave in the studio.
It’s a nightmare in King Hood. The killer Lucifer is back. Deep in his pocket is a sharpened knife and a gangsta hat. Marc Steele is kicking it with Bruce Moore. He ain’t no hoe. 4 members of King Hood Cykoz bumrushed the studio. He is fucking with cocaine again. Ooting cocaine makes Lucifer misbehave in the studio. Ooting cocaine makes Lucifer period.
The studio Lucifer is referring to is the famous Boomin Studios off Dort Highway in Flint, Michigan. They are down in the studio with 40 Fiend from Variety of Sinz. Nightmare In Kinghood was recorded at Boomin Studios.
Demons inside his body are making him mad. These demons are taking over his body. The demons inside his body are reference to him dealing with insanity. Marc Steele is suicidal. He is also a killing fiend. He has placed hollow points inside the chamber of his gun. His gun is cocked, loaded, and ready to shoot.
At the end of the song is where Lucifer reaches to grab his gat (gun) to shoot some peckerwoods. Afterwards he tells us, “It’s a nightmare in King Hood.” The song ends with shouts outs to various hoods and people.
Nightmare in King Hood ends with HMD and Bruce giving shoutouts to the homies and the neighborhoods of Flint.
Pleasure & Pain is about the pleasure, pain, and joys of having sex. It’s about the pleasure of the pain. The song’s sound quality is very low quality as the beats are very thin.
To Titan, sex is all about the pleasure and pain. Or in Titan’s case it’s about the pleasure of the pain. That’s how it is when you live in the hood. Cykos work in mysterious ways. They might catch AIDS but won’t die from that. They will die by gunfire instead. You would love the pain if you were a cyko.
He came inside this bitch’s mouth. He ain’t giving her no lovin’. Bone never sleeps because he’s never weak. Hickeys on chests is what he does best. It’s all about the pleasure of the pain in the hood.
Bruce has got bitches feeling deranged. He’s a nigga from King Hood who sells dope on Dayton Ave. Dayton Ave is where he makes his coke sales. He’s smoking a Billy blunt on his way to a bitch’s cunt.
While rolling down Grace Street, he sees a fresh prostitute and scoops her up. She may have AIDS but cykos work in mysterious ways. They went to the liquor store. She bought him some Cisco. She oots cocaine like a pro.
They went to a nightclub. She poisoned his drink with a love drug. Bruce turns into Leathaface by using a chainsaw to cut her throat. He’s writing psychotic rhymes with a demonic mind.
It’s kind of funny about what a simple little kiss can do. Marc met this chick at a liquor store about a week ago. She saw his gold and assumed he was a drug dealer. He asked her, “Do you have a man?” She says, “Yes I do. That man is you.” Without another word, Marc quickly took her home with him. Love is on his mind. They fucked so fast.
Goin For Broke was a song dedicated to all the people in the dope game who went for broke. You gotta go for broke when you are really out broke and poor. The song was dedicated to everyone in the dope game (drug game). The song was also dedicated to the late basketball player and coach Bobby Hall.
What stands out about this song is Titan and Marc Steele having the longest verses. Marc Steele’s verse is over 3 minutes long. He wrote his verse for this song when he was 17.
The first to rap is the great Titan. Titan’s entire verse was written from the perspective of a drug kingpin going for broke.
It’s a shame that a young nigga is always living on the edge.. Thinking of the shiesty shit that has been pulled. Folks been fooled. But Titan doesn’t give a fuck about what he has done. A roughneck only runs with balls and a gun. He stole some money out his mother’s purse. The drama hurts. He knows this. The way he started dressing gave her many clues. Titan didn’t give a fuck about school. He took a gun everywhere he went.
Money was something he had everywhere he went. It’s all about the money. Not education. Dope game affiliation with a mind full of schemes. Suckers were getting sprayed. He was set on getting paid.
Big James had a beeper. Only difference was he was not getting stalked by the FBI. Titan’s doesn’t hear from his folks too often. They don’t want to hear from him if he is out robbing people. Now that he is in the drug game, he has his own jet. It’s all in the eyes of a drug kingpin going for broke.
Bitches want to be with Bruce Mo. He doesn’t have time as he has to sell dope. A lot of niggaz in the drug game want to take Bruce out. Like Nino Brown, Bruce is taking over the drug game as he has got clout. Niggaz are packing glocks and .22’s. The ghetto is a struggle. He never had much in his life.
He got a double up from a nigga on Grace Street. So it’s time to jet. Kilos of cocaine are purchased. He rolls like the gangsters do. Now he drives a Mercedes Benz. Bruce is stead in the dope game. Living in the ghetto is a war where you gotta go for broke. You having nothing to lose when you started out broke.
Bitches want to be with Bruce Moore. Bruce Moore don’t have time as he has to sell dope. A lot of people in the dope game want to take him out and kill him. Bruce is taking over the drug trade like Nino Brown as he has clout. Niggaz are packing glocks and 22s. The ghetto is a struggle. So Bruce has pack a .9 millimeter. He also packs a 22.
Bruce never had much in his life. He never joined a gang and never sold cocaine. He has to let his nuts hang. Fuck dishing out.
Here is how Bruce got rich in the drug trade. He got a double up from a nigga on Grace Street. Controlling the corner everyday for a year or 2 was how he got rich in the drug trade. He got his life together and no he rolls like the gangsters do. He used to drive a bucket. Now he drives a Mercedes Benz. Drop top 64 rolling with the flyest hoes.
Living in the ghetto is a war. So you gotta go for broke.
Back when Marc was growing up in Flint, life was a bitch. Nobody seemed to give a fuck about the streets of Flint. Gangsters still run the city of Flint. Niggaz are selling drugs (dope) and are putting the blame on fiends. Selling crack can make you rich but people are dying over that shit. Marc could never understand how selling crack can make you rich until he realized people die over that shit.
Marc Steele started selling dope at age 17. He hooked up with his boy P Double O. P Double O hooked Marc with a deal of 20 G’s a cut. Now he is rolling hard as fuck. Marc only sold rocks and never fucked around with weed.
Money was coming fast. He was selling out quick. He had to shoot someone every once and a while. Nobody gave him shit. That’s why he is out there selling drugs. Instead of being broke he would rather have his pockets swelling up with cash.
Fuck a regular job that pays $200 dollars a week. Marc can make that much money by selling drugs on the streets. He makes a grand a day. He makes a gank a day too.
Marc goes to see his boys that are upstate in the penitentiary. Sometimes it fucks Marc to see his boys in the penitentiary. Tears are in his eye as he realizes one day his black ass could be in there as well. They’ll have serve another 10 years before getting to catch parole.
The warden walks in to tell Marc it’s time for him to leave. He gave Money Gripz (his boy) a hug. Money Gripz asks Marc to do a favor for him. Money Gripz asks Marc to check up on his bitch Gina because he believes she is giving out money to people from his safe. He does not trust her. He left $100,000 dollars in a safe by the house.
Marc made his way back to Flint, Michigan. He goes to where Gina is. Someone is at the door. “Yo, Marcus man. What’s up?” Marc tells him, “Nothing much.” He asks him if Gina is on the Ave. Marc proceeds to tell him that Gina is upstairs taking a shower or a bath. Marc and him get into arguing. He shot in the head. Marc left him laying dead on the floor.
Marc made his way upstair to find Gina. He slams her on the floor and asks for Money Gripz cash. She tells Marc she took the cash out and put it in a stash spot. Marc threatens to beat her ass. She took Marc back downstairs to find her boyfriend dead. She has a surprised look on her face with her hands over her head. Gina gave the money to Marc. Before Marc leaves he shoots Gina in her mouth.
He is only 17 with a long path ahead. His life is crazy. He’ll kill you before you kill him. Marc is no joke. You have nothing to lose when you started off broke. You have nothing to lose when going for broke.
Honestly Lunatic should have had a verse on this song. That would have made the song feel more complete. His presence was missing. But either way this is a dope song.
Mind Of A Cyko takes us on a journey through the perspective and viewpoints of a psychotic person from King Hood in Flint, Michigan. There are unpleasant experiences which happen in the mind of a “cyko”. Swift D of 211 was featured on Mind Of A Cyko.
Leathaface is the first to rap. He grew up in a bodybag and was constantly surrounded by blood. A lil loc tried to run. He had not choice but to scuffle. Also he refers to himself as a maniac. Now he is on a 12 gauge rampage. All ooted up on cocaine. He can’t be stopped. His life is a seesaw.
It’s another bloody weekend. Some fucked up shit happened with Bruce this weekend. He’s wanted for manslaughter after killing a preacher’s daughter. A nigga with no screws putting blood in the holy water. You better be aware.
Leathaface sees flashbacks of blood on his chainsaw. A bunch of motherfuckers are in his visions of insanity. A maniac on the loose wanted for manslaughter. Bodies are in Devil’s Lake from the chainsaw massacre. Leathaface is worse than Charles Manson with the mind of a psycho and a serial killer.
Swift D is worse than Charles Manson with the mind of a psycho killer. He is crazy as hell and suicidal. Watch your back! If he doesn’t have you, then he has your mother. He’ll put a rope around your mother’s neck. King Hood Cykoz and Swift D plan to make this song a hit. Swift D is a cannibal. I thought you knew Swift D had the mind of a cyko.
Lunatic’s mind is gone because he has the mind of a cyko. Lunatic will never touch that golden gate to heaven as long as his face is in the newspaper or on the 11 o’clock news. He is an innocent man trapped in a cyko’s body. It’s still Devil’s Night to him. A vision in his head turned into a killing spree. He tosses a match to your body and watches your soul burn. A maniac in a psychotic rage.
Dr. Jekyll is on that other level. However he only has one verse in this song. So be ware of this lunatic as he is leaving bodies in plastic body bags. He is the North Side stalker on a killing spree. He kills people without a doubt. A psycho maniac killing bitches without a doubt. That’s something to think about.
T-Gram’s got the mind of cyko. A manic depressive. Bodies are being hung like Jeffery Dahmer. He’s got deadly intentions. He’s a goner. You can’t reason with the visions that are inside his head. T-Gram is a off nigga with no screws that is off on a killing spree. Gone for a homicide. Eyes like Satan.
Visionz Of Insanity is the song which calms down the mood down for this album. This is the song which calms the album down. Visionz Of Insanity is surprisingly calm and tame compared to the other songs on this album. The flute ensemble is what gives this song a calm vibe.
The song is about how the members of King Hood Cykoz are having immoral thoughts about visions of insanity. Visionz Of Insanity is a posse cut with all members included. T-Gram included.
The song Visionz Of Insanity is similar to Geto Boys - My Mind’s Playing Trick On Me which is not a surprise because King Hood Cykoz was highly influenced by the Geto Boys and Scarface. Gangsta rap meets the sounds of horrorcore rap on Visionz Of Insanity. The song uses a bit of reality rap.
The song starts off with some static over thunder, lighting, and rain. You can hear low quality sound in the static yet the production has a high value. DJ Clay knows how to give a low quality song a high value in production.
Lunatic is having visions of insanity. It’s so clear to that he is not a normal man. He is going crazy. Wondering if he will live to see the next day is something he often thinks about. It might be a fatal reaction to the lives he took or a harsh punishment for not living by the book. Lunatic is slowly turning into a mad man. He needs some help. No one goes to check on him. Who gives a fuck about a though with a half deck?
A deranged maniac is what he feels like. Suicidal is something he feels too. He describes himself as an insane maniac. Hazardous to his own health. He’s not a normal man. A vision is what it started off to be. The only way to get out of this insane life was to slit his throat.
Titan was 19 when he wrote his verse for Visionz Of Insanity. Titan wonders if his father is his kin or worst enemy. He was kicked out his parents house because he wasn’t going to school. This happened when he was 19.
Flashbacks of suicide attempt back in 1991 are what made Titan want tear up his whole house to find a gun. He wanted to end his life. He prays for death. Him and his girlfriend were fighting constantly during that time. Their only method of communication was by phone. So he would often drink heavily. This is his way of coping. There was no way to get out this insane life for Titan.
So he grieves. Titan rolls up his sleeve. He cuts his wrist. Tragedy occurs as Titan shot himself in the head as he committed suicide. 4 cykos are staring down at Titan wondering what had happened. T-Gram died on wax from insanity.
Cocaine and thoughts of seeing his father in the morgue are what’s giving Bruce Moore visions of insanity. Cocaine has affected his brain. It seems like he’s all alone. He went through so much in his life. Every other second he sees an image of him dead. He hears voices calling him. Bruce tries to ask for help but his family doesn’t seem to care. His family calls him a crazy lunatic.
Bruce talks to himself in the cemetery. He asks his father for help but his spirit can’t hear Bruce. Bruce is staring at his father’s tombstone. There’s no more hope left. Bruce has to face reality. The reality of his father not coming back from death.
Marc Steele had visions of bungee jumping into Niagra Falls. Suicide was on his mind.
Marc asks the Lord, “Why does thou vest me with the life that I could never live? You give the things I take and take the things I want to give.” Sometimes he wonders what he is living for.
The lyrics “I’m having thoughts of bungee jumping into Niagra Falls” are a reference to how suicidal he was when he was alive. That’s why he was having visions of suicide and suicidal thoughts. He goes to sleep at night and prays he does not wake up no more. He has a father who does not love him. His mom is a bitch who sells her pussy for cocaine. Marc had no money or food. The only reason he went to school was to eat food.
His girlfriend hates him because she lost him to another man. He wishes he could tell her he loved her. He doesn’t care about nobody else. What has become of Marc?
Bruce Moore was dead at birth with a murderous ambition. He’s legally insane and manic depressive. Doctors want to keep him away from society. He spent 3 long months in a mental asylum. Thoughts of a suicide are in his head. It started in the year of 1989 when his father Keystone “Kimosabe” Moore died.
He grabs the 12 gauge to let the pain out. He proceeds to blow his brains out. Of course he is alone as he kills himself. Bruce grabs the chainsaw and takes his insane rage out on somebody else because his mother never helped him out when she should have helped him.
Bruce has the mind of a psycho (cyko) and a serial killer. Bruce’s life is a seesaw. His best friend is a chainsaw. Bruce stays away from his family to keep their lives out of danger.
Bruce tells everyone at the end that their visions are to have immortal thoughts and to kill you next. They also have immoral thoughts. King Hood Cykoz in this bitch.
Visionz Of Insanity samples Funkadelic - Mommy, What Is A Funkadelic and Geto Boys - Mind Playin’ Tricks On Me. Most of the song relies heavily on the Geto Boys sample though.
Ho Type Bitch Azz Niggaz is a duo cut with Leathaface and Marc Steele. The song is about how people were talking shit about King Hood Cykoz. People were talking shit about King Hood Cykoz even back in the 90s.
For instance, Project Born shitted on King Hood Cykoz. They wrote their displeasure against King Hood Cykoz on the walls of Boomin Studios. Selby Hood even talked shit about King Hood. Which is not surprising seeing as how both neighborhoods were rivals with each other.
Leathaface and Marc Steele are tired of people talking shit (talking badly) about the King Hood Cykoz. Leathaface starts off the song with talking about how people around Flint were talking negatively about King Hood Cykoz. Leathaface is not hesitant on calling people out for talking shit about King Hood Cykoz on this song.
Leathaface disses Gargamel of Selby Hood somewhere in the song too. King Hood and Selby Hood were rivals with each other in the 90s. Both neighborhoods were rivals with each other as they caught up in the gang politics. Selby Hood was Vice Lords (VLs) and King Hood was Gangsta Disciples (GDs).
Selby Hood and King Hood have beefing for a lot of years. It’s over colors and gang related politics of such nature. It’s the not-so-glorifying side of criminal activity and gang activity.
Leathaface is living large in Flint as he driving a brand new Corvette while those has-been superstars are broke and bankrupt. He lyrically disses former neighborhood superstars throughout the middle of the song. Marc Steele ends the song with his legendary raps.
Livin In Kinghood was recorded in 1994 at Boomin Studios off Dort Highway in Flint, Michigan. Livin In Kinghood is a King Hood Cykoz song in which Leathaface and Marc Steele take most control of. Livin In Kinghood is quite similar to Nightmare In Kinghood due to the dark horrorcore vibe.
The song Livin In Kinghood takes place at the intersection of Martin Luther King Avenue & Dayton Street (Dayton Ave) in King Hood on the North Side of Flint, Michigan. Things won’t be the same as Lucifer is back on the streets. He wants his drugs. So pay respect to King Hood and Dayton Ave. Down in King Hood niggaz love to gangbang. Niggaz there are homicidal. Grab your gat and get prepared as the environment is getting very hectic. Expect the unexpected at all times. Lucifer grew up in this type of environment. Lucifer keeps a gat because fiends keep bothering him.
He sees a fiend who owes him some money. So he harasses the fiend.
The song shows a small spark of political consciousness. In the verse “Fuck all you bitches who supported Bill Clinton/You think he’s good, but in the end our pockets he’ll be hitting” ,
Lucifer raps about how Bill Clinton will screw over the American public financially for his own purposes. Bill Clinton will screw over the American public in order to cater towards the 1% percent who control the United States. They have us broke.
Marc Steele openly dissed Selby Hood on Livin In Kinghood. Here are the lyrics to what exactly Leathaface said, “don’t let me get a hold of a blade/Selby Hood motherfuckin’ niggas getting sprayed” “I’m puttin Selby in a fuckin hearse/to get they booty licked they need to get some pussy first"
Selby Hood had a lot of neighborhood rivalries in the city of Flint at that time.
Leathaface is a psychopath who does not have it all. He is killing bitches. Niggaz in King Hood were born homicidal. Leathaface packs heat on the corner. It’s been a year and he is rolling in a fresh Jaguar. Every Saturday he is rolling with them COPA hoes. He is putting fiends in a bodybag.
Bloody Murder is similar to a song you would hear at party on Halloween due to the dark eerie vibe. Bloody Murder is about a violent tale of a bloody murder.
Here is how the beginning of Bloody Murda starts.: A female news reporter says, “A group black of youth from Flint, Michigan known as the King Hood Cykoz are still at large. Their known location is Forest Park as far as officials know at this time.” She then explains what’s going on. The news anchor is Rashanda Smith.
A person was stabbed by a butcher knife. There were holes in the neck where the person was stabbed twice. A knife to the head and heart was how the person was killed. The persons body was drug off to a slaughter house to be chopped up into pieces. Then the body parts and pieces were sent to a morgue. A killer maniac is still at large. Police are after this killer. Better watch out for this killer as the killer’s axe will be swung at you in an attempt to kill you.
The Late Night Stalker is a well known “cyko”. So run and hide. The Late Night Stalker puts bodies in critical conditions. Believe that it’s another bloody murder because The Late Night Stalker is on a killing spree. That killer is a lunatic.
Mr. Billy Club was a song that dealt with police brutality. Titan takes a stance against police brutality in this song. Sadly nothing has changed when it comes to police brutality.
The great Titan Kill-A-Gram aka Titan wrote Mr. Billy Club himself in 1993. Today this song is regarded as a classic to its own right.
The song has a gangsta rap meets Cypress Hill and Body Count type of vibe. What stands out the most about this song is thick layers of beats. Not many people know this but Titan was heavily inspired by Cypress Hill and Body Count as he was a fan of their music.
The shooting incident is reference to a real life shooting event. Someone got shot on the hood of Titan’s minivan at the CLC Skating Rink (CLC) in Burton, Michigan. Burton, Michigan is located south of Flint, Michigan.
Driveby is another gangsta rap influenced song of course. The influence of gangsta rap is have in this rap song of theirs. The King Hood Cykoz plan driveby’s on people who they deem as their enemies. All sucker ass MC’s better watch out! Driveby is a posse cut with all members included. C Lo D drops a fresh ass verse too. Marc and Bruce come hard on Driveby.
Bruce starts a massacre in King Hood using his 12 gauge. He is on a rampage. Now he is up for a driveby shooting. A homicide. Niggaz can’t fuck with a cyko from the dark side.
Bruce is rolling 5 deep. Marc Steel is busting out slugs. This turns into a bloody murder with bodies on the concrete. He is a killer by nature on a killing spree. Marc and Bruce come hard when sending people to the graveyard. Mind over matter. Motherfuckers had to die tonight. Niggaz can’t fuck with the cyko named Bruce Moore.
Rap and hip hop meet funk on Driveby. The song Driveby uses elements of G-Funk where gangsta rap meets funk. 70s funk that is. Driveby samples Funkadelic - Mommy, What Is A Funkadelic. Around the 4:30 mark is where you will hear the sample play. DJ Clay blended funk, rap, and hip hop perfectly together in this King Hood Cykoz song. Anything DJ Clay touches is going to be dope. One thing is for sure is that he knows his music.
Everyday Life Of A Cyko is about daily the life of a “cyko” and what type of lifestyle a “cyko” lives. The song was written from the perspective of a “cyko”. This song is based on the viewpoints of a psychotic person from King Hood in Flint, Michigan. Everyday Life Of A Cyko is nearly similar to Mind Of A Cyko. Most of the song is about gangbanging though.
Everyday Life Of A Cyko samples Geto Boys - Damn It Feels Good and Ice T - Colors.
Leathaface is up first. Everyday life of a cyko. Another execution of a Flint gang member made the front page news of the Flint Journal. All because of gang signs thrown. Now this boy lays dead in his grave. 24/7 at the liquor store. A gangsta nigga like Bruce is coming hard. Gangbanging in the streets will get you put into the morgue. Ganged out motherfuckers don’t never last. Because real cyko azz niggaz don’t fight for colors as they can’t run fast.
Bruce explains the scenario of a drug dealer on Mason Street in King Hood selling crack rock to a drug fiend. A cyko in the hood don’t like it. The drug dealer gets shot in the back while selling crack to a fiend on the corner. Revenge is on the mind of a cyko who is looking for the person who their partner.
T-Bone (Titan) doesn’t get to hang with his homies. Instead he stays home and once again it’s on. Suicidal thoughts float through his dome. Consequently he is having visions of insanity. Trapped in his own hell. At time he feels the world has put a dent on him. A nigga like T-Bone is going for broke. He is going through a thang like Swift D of 211 and TDF.
Lunatic raps next. Another black brother is dead. He died while selling crack. Now he is laying on his death bed. Crime is on the rise in Flint. It’s a situation where you sink or swim. But Lunatic would rather drown.
At that time, Flint was gaining notoriety for being a major violent crime center due to heavy deindustrialization the Midwestern part of the United States was facing. Flint's economy was going down in 1993 and had been since 1986. Flint has gotten worse year by year. Lunatic makes reference to the crime that plagues Flint is his verse for this song.
Cocaine had swept the streets of Flint like an epidemic as the drug was everywhere in Flint at that time. Cops, politicians, and teachers were using crack. Parents were having crack babies.
Everyday life of a cyko. Niggaz still trying to be in that gang shit. Niggaz always try to flex nuts. All that will be left is blood and guts if you fuck with Lunatic. How much of the ghetto can he take? He better find a way out now because his young black life is at stake.
A young brother from the ghetto tries to make it out of the ghetto by selling drugs. But he doesn’t want to hurt his black people. He was kicked out of the house by his parents after they found drugs (dope) in his room. He never had much in his life. Never ate from a silver spoon.
True cykoz wear black because other colors will get them hurt. Don’t you ever underestimate a cyko.
Takin No Chancez is a King Hood Cykoz posse cut which features longtime rapper Carlito810 (C Lo D) from the legendary Flint hip hop group Ruff N Rugged. His verse and Titan’s are the hardest on this song. Carlito810 comes through with a touch of hip hop.
Rap meets hip hop on Takin No Chancez. DJ Clay blended rap and hip hop perfectly together in this King Hood Cykoz song. Anything DJ Clay and Carlito810 touch is going to be dope. One thing is for sure is that both of them know their music. DJ Clay produced the beats. The beat is similar to Big June -Straight Jackin’.
T-Gram is taking no chances in 1992. He is spitting game to bitches like Marc and Bruce. Women think because he’s a rapper that he has dough. Women only want Titan for his money. Bitches carry diseases. So don’t be tempted to please them. Who’s fucking who? That’s the question of the year. A bitch named Nikki tried to trick Titan. She may have AIDS but cykos work in mysterious ways. The pain has him fearing this.
Bruce is taking no chances. He’s riding down the street with his gun cocked for the ganged out fools hangin out on the block. Ice Cube said today was a good day. No one was killed at the COPA last Saturday. Bruce is creeping with his boys down Dayton Ave. He sees some Slobs (Bloods) that want to start a bloodbath. Taking no chances. He has to put them to sleep. They hit freeway next.
The projects are where they go to next. Bruce grabs his gat. A cyko has to watch his back. Niggaz want to take Bruce to war. Crime Stoppers labeled Bruce Moore worse than Charles Manson. But Chainsaw ain’t taking no chances.
Dr. Jeykll is creepin’ with Marc Steele. He’s not taking any chances. He has to pack a glock 9 for the niggaz in the dope game. Dr. Jeykll kills a person.
C-Lo D is the neighborhood jacka to get rid of some shit. Flipping the script for his foes and friends. He’s tired of the niggaz around the way trying to fight him. That dumb shit excites him. He loves fights. He’s been in the rap game since 1984. He did everything from stealing cars to selling cocaine. Niggaz got jealous. Luckily he made his way through all of this. He held his own. The BRP was making advances in 1993. A nigga like C-Lo D isn’t taking any chances.
Bruce is a rapper. Bitches are on his dick. He watches his pockets because they are out for his riches. A nigga like Bruce ain’t taking any chances. He loves bitches. He has sex with them dumps their asses. One bitch got mad at Bruce because he didn’t give her anything. She thought it was a game. Bruce kicked her ass. She’s still on his jock. So Bruce put a gun in her mouth and squeezed the trigger.
At the very last part of the song is where Bruce disses Wesley Hood. Below are the lyrics to what he said.:
I kicked you in the ass
Kicked you out my house
You’re still on my jock so I put a gun in your mouth
Then I squeezed the trigger
How the fuck you figure
You thought it was a game
I’m a cyko, not a Wesley nigga
Like a Wesley nigga, you a bitch
You ain’t shit
Always flex nuts with the Dayton Ave Lunatics
Now here is some history of how King Hood Cykoz formed. This will explain history behind the group.
King Hood Cykoz formed in 1992 with Titan Graham (T-Bone, TGram, Mad Bone), Bruce Moore (Leathaface, Sir Leathaface, Chainsaw, Bruce Mo), Randy Jamison (Randy J, J Roc, Dr. Jekyll), Remarcus Steele (Lucifer, Lucifa, Marc Steele), Lunatic, and Maniac. Titan had always wanted to be in a band. So him and Bruce Moore decided to form a group. All of them lived in neighborhoods on the North Side.
The name King Hood Cykoz came from Martin Luther King Avenue and King Elementary School. Martin Luther King Street is the most taken route when entering the North Side of Flint.
King Hood Cykoz had been stylized as Kinghood Cykoz in graffiti on walls in King Hood, Civic Hood, and Rankin Hood during the 90s. As the 90s pushed on, King Hood Cykoz perfected their gangsta horrorcore sound.
King Hood Cykoz became Deuce 11 Gz in 1994. Titan discovered a group from Ohio ganked (stole) their style. Deuce 11 Gz is King Hood Cykoz under a different name. The group split in 1995 due to a variety of different reasons. Members went on to join other rap groups in Flint while others changed careers.
Below is an update on all of the members of King Hood Cykoz. The current status on the members of King Hood Cykoz is subject to change at any given time.
Titan now lives in North Carolina. He moved from Flint in 1995. Titan has gone through homelessness since King Hood Cykoz disbanded.
Bruce Moore is Leathaface/Chainsaw. He is no longer the same person he was back in the 90s since he is a man of God. Bruce no longer associates himself with King Hood Cykoz or Deuce 11 Gz. He still lives in Flint.
Randy Jamison was Lucifa/Dr. Jekyll/J Roc. Randy passed away from cancer on 03/15/2019. He was 46 years old. Randy was in a group with Bruce called Variety of Sinz. Him, Marc Steele, and Titan were the best of friends. Randy was in Deuce 11 Gz also.
Henry Swazer) was Lunatic. Henry Swayzer is now a lawyer and wants nothing to do with King Hood Cykoz. He has since moved on with his life. Now he raises a family. His current whereabouts are unknown at this time. He was reported to be living in Flint.
Maniac was still living on McClellan Street in Flint back in 1997. He no longer lives on Dayton Avenue. Nothing has been heard from Maniac since then.
Carlito810 (C-Lo D) was one of their associates back in the 90s. will back me up on this information. He was featured on a couple of the songs this demo. C-Lo D and Titan were the best of friends.
Here is what happened to King Hood Cykoz. King Hood Cykoz had split in 1995 due to a variety of many different reasons.
•The main reason was a lack of financial investment towards releasing their music. That was the biggest issue for King Hood Cykoz. Never having the money to invest towards releasing their music. King Hood Cykoz hadn't made any money because of that. King Hood Cykoz hasn't made any money over the years due to bootleggers uploading their songs to the internet ripping them off.
•The other reason was Titan leaving Flint to go to college in Vermont. Him leaving Flint ultimately led to King Hood Cykoz breaking up. This would also cause things to go into a downward spiral thus leading towards a split.
•Rap was looked at as a secondary hobby to the members in the group. Many members in this group were drug dealers, pimps, and hustlers. It was the streets before the rap.
•Members went on to join other groups. Some even formed their own groups. Leathaface and Randy J went to join Variety of Sinz and Marc Steele formed a short-lived rap group called Hardware. Randy J later joined Deuce 11 Gz in 1996.
I rate this album, 4/5****!
