The COVID-19 virus has affect over 1 million people in the state of Texas. The number for the estimates of people affected by COVID-19 in Texas are 1,100,000. This is because people are not taking COVID-19 seriously. Many people are not social distancing or wearing a mask.

This marks an increase of 10% percent from earlier months. The number of cases keeps rising each day. So far there are over 7,000+ new coronavirus cases in Texas. Texas is now averaging 20 new coronavirus cases per day. This marks a record-high for the first time since August and an increase of 12 percent from 4 weeks earlier.
