Doll’s Rapid Creation in Cleveland, Ohio up for demolition. Reasons why exposed.

The building of what was formerly Doll’s Rapid Creation, owned by Kermit Henderson, is up for demolition. Kermit Henderson himself confirmed the building is up for demolition. The building will go any day now.

Interior walls have been stripped because he remodeled the building. Then he rented it out to a construction company. The construction company stripped the interior walls. Suddenly the construction company just abruptly up and left which is why the building is abandoned and will be demolished. Those walls were never finished and soon fell apart. There is an insurance claim for the collapsed roof of that building.

Here are the reasons why Doll’s Rapid Creation in Cleveland, Ohio has been/was abandoned.

When Kermit Henderson shut down Doll’s Rapid Creation in March 2003, the store was renamed to Discount Retail Center, Inc in just less than 5 months. Right after Doll’s Rapid Creation closed. The building served as a warehouse by 2003. Discount Retail Center, Inc operated until early 2007 when the State of Ohio’s tax department cancelled their business license from unpaid delinquent taxes. That building was a record distributor and distribution warehouse which served as Cleveland One Stop/East Cleveland One Stop until 2007 when the State of Ohio’s tax department cancelled their business license from unpaid delinquent taxes. Once digital distribution became a global phenomena in 2008, Doll’s Rapid Creation and Cleveland One Stop/East Cleveland One Stop became a drug front for drug dealers who sold burned CDs during that time. That's hood economics. Today the distribution warehouse is currently filled with old dead stock and music memorabilia consisting of CDs, cassettes, and vinyl that was defective, returned from various parties, and/or put on hold. Kermit Henderson left all these products in his warehouse to rot and collect dust to claim insurance. So the other reason why this building is abandoned is because of insurance purposes. Only less than of everything inside is salvageable.

Interestingly enough, The State of Ohio’s Business Search shows the status of Doll’s Rapid Creation as active despite not operating since 2007. This means that Kermit Henderson is still paying taxes on Doll’s Rapid Creation business. So legally the State of Ohio cannot acquire his property as he is still paying business taxes and property taxes along with other taxes included. However these do not include his businesses shut down by the State of Ohio’s tax department. (Ref: https://businesssearch.ohiosos.gov/?=businessDetails/529376)

Even opencoroporates.com shows the status of this business as still being active. Kermit Henderson is listed as the agent. (Ref: https://opencorporates.com/companies/us_oh/529376)
