This beauty salon would later be renovated into a medical clinic called Ralston Clinic sometime in the 1960s. Ralston Clinic was owned, managed, and operated by Dr. Robert F. Weissinger. Dr. Robert F. Weissinger was an osteopath.

However Ralston Clinic was shut down in 1976 because Dr. Robert F. Weissinger was charged with Medicaid fraud. Dr. Robert F. Weissinger and a handful of other doctors in the state of Michigan were charged with defrauding Medicaid of $70.000. (Ref: https://www.newspapers.com/newspage/55754280/)

Two Detroit osteopaths and two other persons were arrested Monday and charged with scheming to defraud Medicaid of $70,000. Three of the arrested persons, including both doctors, were also charged with conspiracy to permit a man who is not a doctor to treat patients at a clinic operated by one of the doctors. Arrested were Dr. Robert F. Weissinger of the Ralston Clinic, 19530 Ralston; Dr. Alan F. DeVore of the Omega Clinic, 12874 E. Jefferson; Omega administer Ralph Papenfuse, and Mohsen Djamali, an employe at the Omega Clinic.

THE ARRESTS are the result of an investigation by the state Department of Social Services which began after DeVore had been suspended from Medicaid payments in 1974 because of an alleged $125,000 overpayment. According to Ernest Hornung, prosecutor for the Wayne County Consumer Protection Agency, DeVore, Papenfuse and Weissinger then worked out a scheme whereby DeVore, could continue to collect Medicaid payments under one of Weissinger's unused provider numbers. Doctors who receive Medicaid payments are identified by provider numbers, though one doctor may have numbers for each location at which he practices. Weissinger, according to Hornung, arranged for his old number to be reactivated at the address of the Omega Clinic, which is operated by DeVore. Patients at the clinic were examined and treated by Djamali, a physician's assistant who has received medical training but is not a licensed doctor, according to Hornung. Weissinger signed the patients charts and the Medicaid billings for the patients were submitted under his name, it was charged. The men allegedly split the profits from the scheme, which involved more than $70,000 between November 1974 through October 1975. Weissinger has been suspended from receiving payments as a result of the investigation. All four men were arraigned Monday before Recorder's Court Judge Michael Connor and released on personal bonds. The charges are conspiracy to obtain money under false pretenses and conspiracy to practice osteopathic medicine without a license.
