The estate of Velma Eastwood Floge was located in the Dunbar neighborhood and Heritage Historical District of San Marcos and dates back the late 1930s. L.J. Eastwood sold land located at 1111 Hopkins Street to a woman named Velma Eastwood Floge at the very end of 1938. The property became the estate of Velma Eastwood Floge that same year according to a 1938 deed. (Ref: Hays County Land Deeds, Volume 117, Page 497)
The estate of Velma Eastwood Floge was transferred over to Leland S. Burgum in 1955 by L.J. Eastwood along with E. M. Cape and his wife, Clara Louise Cape. Leland S. Burgum sold the land to Edward Mahler on a transfer deed. (Ref: Hays County Land Deeds, Volume 265, Pages 619-622)
